Dead Space: Dark Zone [Interest Check][18+]

The events of Dead Space 1-3 have been over for around 20 years now, Issac has settled down with Ellie and had a child. Though they have a family the horror is not over for them. The three of them were on their way to the vessel known as Vulse which is a research facility [Doughnut shaped ship] which needs many engineers. Issac being an engineer and his daughter also being an engineer thought it would be a good place to go. The vessel was known for great research though stories of a sinister side did pop up time to time. Much of the research has helped mankind but what sort of price had to be paid to get such results? The short time on Vulse was fairly normal, father and daughter bonded more as they did their job as a team, and Ellie had a job elsewhere.

It had only been about three weeks before things went wrong. At first, the people who ran the vessel stated it was an internal system problem the vessel was having. Later on, some people went missing which a statement was issued saying some people's jobs were terminated and were no longer on the station. Following that sound noises and activities started to happen all over the place, engineers needed to be on the job nearly 24 hours a day. Something was causing damage to the ship, following that engineers started to go missing or were found dead in the most horrible of ways. The higher ups climbed those who went missing died on the job due to the non-stop work they had to put in to maintain the ship.

Issac was not falling for whatever was being said, things did not add up and so while his daughter covered for her he went off to see what he could dig up. Ellie helped him as she worked in that area since coming to the Vulse. The Vulse is located in a different system which has hardly any life in it. However, some places had human life on it who tried to start civilisations or vessels which stopped for whatever reasons they had. As the Issac and Ellie dig for info the vessel/research facility begins to fall, unknown creatures begin to escape and cause major damage to the ship and cause the number of deaths to skyrocket to dangerous levels. Engineers began to disappear, people who caught on began to try to escape. Some people did escape but the rest were unlucky as the pods went into lock down meaning they were stuck on board.

The higher ups were very well protected and would be safe for a time before they had to leave via VIP escape pods. During the deaths of many innocent people Issac and Ellie learnt the truth, however, things had already gone to shit. The Necromorphs were crawling all over the vessel, Issac and Ellie had to relive this nightmare once more. What was worse was that their daughter was somewhere on the ship, the two would not leave until they found her. So they have their thing happening if we choose to go OCxOC They will have the subplot as we will be meeting up with one or both of them unless Issac or Ellie is played by you. The main plot will be altered during the RP as new things are learnt and new goals have to be done to move on. One thing will remain, they will want to survive until the very end and stop whatever is happening.

We will be hopping from the Vulse to a nearby planet and to even other nearby powered and none powered ship like in Dead Space 3. Some of the ships are not important but they may find things to help them survive or continue on. Both OCxOC will be new to this and so won't know how to deal with such a problem.The OC you will play does not have to be an engineer, however, it only makes sense for an engineer to wear the suit so you won't have one like it. If something is not done the human race could be in trouble, what's more, the Necromorphs could spread across the various worlds and galaxies in existence.

We don't have to use this idea, but whatever happens, I would be playing the daughter of Issac Clarke [She has a CS already made]. You can be the man himself, Ellie or an OC. It has been a while since I seen Dead Space 1-3 but things would have moved on so background on the games is not needed. I may have to watch a lets play once more, I could play it but I feel that would take longer since when I do play games drama happens.

I own Dead Space 1, 2, & 3 but they are on my to-play list as I have 20-26 other X-Box games [7 Wii U games as well and 1 low-end PC game] to play before it but I have watched let's plays of the game itself. I brought Dead Space because it was cheap and the fact many horror games are getting cancelled these days. I will be rewatching the Let's Plays to refresh myself on the two characters in Dead Space. Even if they aren't used they are still important and will be encountered often. You don't need to know anything about the games if you want to have a go as this does not relate to much to the original three games. There will be links and even references but they can be ignored, if they are important I will say why.

She is somewhat brave, she would have to be if she is related to Issac Clarke. She is careful when it comes to the unknown and so if and when she fights a Necromorph she will stomp them until the head and all limbs have been removed [If new to it she will get to that point]. Like her parents, she is a survivor and there for won't give up until her job is done. Since she is good at dismantling she can find items that could improve her gear more often. Unlike Issac, she is somewhat more fragile and so she could go crazy at any time.

@AcerRo It is hard to say, it is luck of the draw. I managed to get two X-Men RP's, a Transformers RP, Defense Force Five (Original Idea), Silent Britain (Original Idea), and an RP about a war going on in a snow based place that suddenly appeared on Earth. I got them to a good milestone before things happened. Basically, there are many reasons RP's don't survive but it is all on the players side and GM side more than anything [The human element is what makes RP's die, but it can also keep it alive]. Unless you get RP hijackers or assholes who won't listen to you and make OP shit happen. I have been role playing since 2010 and I have not run from or ended a single RP myself, it all on my partner's side. I generally add them to the ban list if they don't say anything to me, it makes it easier for me not to fall for that shit again. Anyway, it is down to the luck of the draw.

Bio: In the year 2113, technology had reached great new heights and so many things thought to be impossible became possible. Jessie was born in 2343 in Toronto Canada to a Linda and Gary Côté. The two had met in Neo-France and fell in love over the course of several months as the two ended up travelling from Neo-Paris to Neo-Rome, Neo-London, Neo-Berlin, Neo-Brussels, and several other places. After that, the two went to Canada, the place both of them were born and a place where they were married a year after they met. One year later they had Jessie, their first child who was seen to have difficulties at first. Doctors had said she would not be fit like the rest of them if left untreated. Thanks to technology such things were no longer a problem even if it meant playing god in many ways.

The treatment started at the age of two and lasted until the age of six where the treatments were shown to have worked. Jessie no longer had difficulties but did have unusual growths in strength, endurance, speed, and stamina. These would aid her later on in left but for the moment were put aside. Jessie soon had a brother and sister when she was four, twins who were not identical. Jessie was soon in school which soon led to more school where she became one of the popular people. However, had a side of geek in her making her more approachable than those who were just popular. She walked out of school with Several B's and a few A's, she also walked out of school being the most popular and having won the prom queen title twice. The second time was when one of the seniors asked her to go, this was to help them reveal who they really were.

This, in turn, helped Jessie find herself better as she found herself attracted to both males and females. Her first kiss with a female was from the senior who asked her to go to prom. From there Jessie was not sure what to do with herself and so for a year went through phases before finally deciding to do something with herself. Her siblings had always said she was a good protector so maybe she could join the police force. She tried it, did not get in as only a limited number of spots were open making her think what else she could do. The police knew of her abilities as she had shown them what she could do prompting them to get her on a special op programme. The programme had accepted her and she did better than they thought. She had made a few new friends, two of them becoming her best friends though she had two outside of work who were also her best friends.

One of them being the senior who went to prom with her. However, happy times were not ahead for poor Jessie. People are not sure why it happened or how it happened but there was an explosion. One of the cars on the street exploded without warning setting of nearby cars to explode as well. It was a chain reaction, the chain was cut when the shields went up to stop it spreading. However, Jessie was caught within these explosions. [Cue Robocop theme and sequence] Jessie had lost one of her arms and both of her legs. She was called dead once at the hospital though due to science's great leaps and bounds they could bring her back mostly. The brain could be preserved without losing any brain cells. Friends and family were saddened by what happened and hoped she could be saved. Science may have gone far but if the subject was too far gone they would not be the same.

Months past and no word on Jessie's condition had surfaced but no one gave up hope. The first stage was to get Jessie's brain to work with an artificial brain. The artificial part would be added to increase her processing power and increase her abilities, skills and even to add equipment to her. The second stage was to create and attach new limbs to Jessie. A rare tough yet light metal was used, though it was expensive they had so much of it that they thought it was a good idea. No one had every thought to use the rare metal for anything so much of it would last more than several thousand years. Stage three was to equip add-ons to help her become a better unit, her face is surrounded by a metal frame which has all the wanted add-ons available. Also, the frame keeps her face in place as it also acts as a form of clamp. Her face won't fall off if the frame is gone, it will just freak people out.

The fourth stage was just testing to see how well Jessie would do if she found herself in her presence state, all of it was nothing but guesses. The fifth stage was working out the kinks and finishing or adding whatever was left to add. The final stage was to have her wake up. It had been a year since she had been gone but to her, it seemed like a few hours to a whole day. The first thing she felt when she woke up was a feeling of something was missing. Her body having not moved in a long time were numb and so she was not able to move them. However, it was only her body and left arm that was numb, the rest felt strange. She could feel movement and so when she could look down to see her first movement since she woke up. What she saw was not what she wanted to see and so she began to cry, her legs were not her legs yet she had them. Doctors had to explain what happened which only added to the sadness she felt.

It took a further two months before she was released, they only let her go when she finally accepted what had happened. She was still not happy about being dead and being turned into this, yet seeing her family and friends were leaps and bounds more important. The younger siblings were a year older, they were somewhat different as they were in their late teen years. Her brother was a Cyberpunk and seemed to be all about the technology while her sister was a Cybergoth. Her father had started to go grey, however, her mother seemed mostly the same though had a non-fatal illness plaguing her. Two of her four best friends were now married while the other two were still single yet seemed to have both been promoted. None of them treated her differently but they were shocked by what she had become.

She was soon back on the special op's programme though now they had new people making the squad. With her new abilities which surpassed all the members, she was with she was promoted to team leader. By age twenty-two, she had been promoted twice more which meant she was now in a new team, a team she could hand select herself. She picked her two best friends she worked with before and picked two others for their skills. One other person was also on the team thanks to their skills but much about them was unknown due to being new. The team soon became well known though no one knew who they were or who formed them or even worked for. She does solo work though in actual fact is a team based thing. Each member has their own role and so sometimes it seems like solo based work.

I am mad, really mad now. My shit head of a neighbour who has his own place around the corner as a dog or two living next door. Both are totally untrained as I hear them shouting at them when they want them to come in. Anyway as I was returning home as I had to walk the dog, the dog next door comes rushing out of the house and suddenly attacks my dog. I was dumping his waste into my bin at this time as the Staffordshire Bull Terrier went for my Jack Russel Terrier. Suddenly a yelp follows and the fucking thing is biting my dog and chomping at him.

I had to pull him off as the guy next door took his sweet time coming out to stop it. By the time I had got the other dog under control the git grabs him though not before letting his dog get another few bites in. FUCK HIM, FUCK THAT UNTRAINED DOG AND FUCK HIM EVEN MORE FOR KEEPING THE FRONT DOOR OPEN SO A UNTRAINED DOG COULD COME AND HURT MINE. My dog has issues, when he was a puppy another dog bite him and so since then has never been able to be near other dogs or animals in general. I was close to hitting the other dog who was going at mine like a rabid animal. It is not cruel to hit an animal when I am trying to defend mine right? I mean I didn't in the end as I had to split them up.

I don't think he even said sorry but what would I know when I was listening to something while it was happening. That twat probably doesn't care and on that for some reason probably blames me for my dog being out there. I was too mad and too concerned for my dog's safety to even yell at the cunt. How does an abusive asshole even get to keep his dog[s]. I heard he force breeds them though I have no proof of it other then there dogs being taken away, he kept one of them, though. Where do you put it, where do you place such a feeling?
