Sounds like a step outside the box. I'm on board.
Damn right I'd be for this.
OKAY! I'm back. I'll make an OOC in a bit.
Alrighty! I'm going on a camping trip for a few days, but when I get back I'll consider makin' an OOC. Just gonna bump this and see if anyone else shows interest~.
Interested in that "It" original RP you've got going on. With super powers, naturally. XD

I also have no qualms about playing a male. I'm horrible at playing as females anyway, to be honest.

The idea came into my head recently. For those of you who know the RPG for phones (sounds lame, I know, but stay with me here), Brave Frontier has a lot of lore in it as a series.

For those of you unaware, it's an RPG set in a basic fantasy world with an anime art style. You play as a summoner who is called upon to defeat the four fallen Gods that hold control over multiple realms that you travel through.

The lore goes that there was once an ancient war between humans and gods when the humans decided to rebel. Many were forced to train relentlessly, gaining magical powers, and people from all walks of life were banding together to combat the tyranny of the gods. Some even ascended to godlike power themselves in their efforts, and are spoken of even into the present day in legend.

Now, those chosen to slay the four fallen gods in the present day are not fighters themselves. Or at least, not the player (since Karl and Seria are obviously very capable on their own... you guys know what I mean. >.>).

The player is known as a summoner, of which there are many in the present day. Instead of fighting directly, they rely on summoning these long-dead heroes to use in battle. Typically a summoner starts with using said hero at their lowest point before they were famous. For an amateur summoner to use a renowned hero is unheard of, as they don't commonly have enough power to muster up anything more than the basics; they must develop and train to summon more powerful units. Units summoned replicate the original's personality, appearance and abilities to a fine accuracy, but are not the original brought back from the dead. Many summoners make use of the same heroes, even multiple in their own squad of summoned units.

So, basically, this RP would be focused on the journey of newly recruited summoners that venture through the continents and worlds to defeat the evil gods. I'll explain in detail how it works if there's enough interest.
Sure, why not~. Game's just about done for me, so I'll know at least the tutorial stuff by the time it's up, probably. =P
Character Name: Ludrix
Character Attributes:

Character Race: Immortal Human
Character Archetype: Lonely Genius
Character Occupation: Alchemist
Notoriety Points: 0
Legend Points: 0
Fate Score: 0
Appearance:
Ruins/Lair Name:

Ludrix's lair is a tower that rises up through the clouds and has a view capable of seeing for miles of solitude in all directions. It appears to be located in the middle of a once great city which had been taken out by an unspeakable power of some sort. All evidence of any name or history of this city, and by extension the tower, has been erased. While Ludrix usually has the whole city to himself, he rarely leaves his tower. In part due to how busy he is with research whenever he is awake, and also due the fact that the city carries an ominous nature about it that he is unnerved by at times.

The tower itself is well-kept most of the time, and has a very Gothic appearance to it. With gargoyle statues, suits of armor set up, and the halls paved with red carpet, it seems like how a rich noble would live.

However, in the deepest reaches of the basement of the tower is where Ludrix has added his own personal style on things.

It appears as a gigantic library with books on all sorts of strange topics from summoning demonic entities, creating weapons or medicines, books with the details of the human body and anatomy, and even cookbooks. There is a large cauldron in the back of the room, and many vials and test tubes surrounding tables which are colored white with the messy papers and documents scattered around. It's here that Ludrix continues his research on the subject of Alchemy, and where he spends more time than anywhere else in the tower.

Over time, the boy has decided on his own name for the tower and the city it takes the center of. Grimlark tower, and by extension that makes the city that of the "Ruined City of Grimlark". Ludrix thought it had a nice ring to it, and takes meaning from the two words in the name. Ludrix thought the landmark stood as a beacon of a faint hope; that while grim, a new sun may one day rise on the ruined city he resides in.
I'd love to join an RP like this! Especially after watching the video.
I've never played it, but this topic has reminded me it exists.

I might go and check it out now... if it's easy enough to follow the story and everything, I would definitely join in. Downloading the game as I'm typing this~.
