Blessing of High Speed Calculation: A blessing innate to Coren that allows him to split his attention from current activity to make rapid calculations at the same time. This could come in the form of analyzing someone's gait and estimating their center of gravity or determining the necessary speed and angle to get a proper reflection of a projectile. This blessing is something that is both conscious and unconscious in Coren's mind and can be described as something akin to Hyper Speed Thought, and he can partition his mind into several parts for different calculations.

Personality

-Confident, arrogant, cocky. There is a thin line between these descriptions, and Coren doesn't even remotely ride that line. The self proclaimed Strongest Man in the World with the skills to back it up (Probably). Other than his insufferable arrogance as the main character in his own world, Coren is best described as curious. He is eternally searching for how things work and ways to create an intended affect in a new and innovative way. And what better way to do that than to prove his strength with his own tools!

He doesn't have many friends. . . . or any. In his life as of yet he has yet to meet anyone worthy of that title in his mind. After all, it would take an amazing individual to be friends with The Strongest Man in the World.

Background

-Corentine de Flamel, the first and only son of a renowned merchant. Born a well off with a brilliant and curious mind. Instead of going to schooling and spending time with other children around his age, Coren was far more interested with the things that his father's men would bring back from far away lands. It was all so strange and fascinating to him. In no time at all, he found his place among his father's men. He was still extremely young, but that was no indication of his level of skill. It came naturally. Calculation. Estimation. Profit margin.

Though many conniving merchants sought to teach him a lesson due to his young age, the savant was not to be beaten. Outsmarted. Outplayed. Outwitted.

In no time at all, he had turned his father's business into a massive empire of mercantilism. Over time however, the thrill of the deal dulled. It grew boring. His mind constantly calculated but there was nothing worth the thought. Boring. When he was only 14, Coren stopped showing his face at any of his father's stores. Instead, holing himself up and investigating. He ordered his father's subordinates to bring him interesting things from far off lands. Seemingly useless things. Minerals. Rocks. Waste. They each had their properties and Coren would discover them all. And discover he would. With a seemingly random mix of items, he created an explosion, not unlike something magic. It was amazing. He did it!

For the next two years, he experimented. He created all kinds of amazing mixtures with a variety of purposes, but eventually he thought. For what purpose? Why was he even bothering.

His answer came in a much more violent form than he expected. A mugging. He was just out shopping for some minor materials when some street thug tried to take all he owned. When Coren refused to hand over his funds, the thug stabbed. In that instant, thoughts ran though Coren's head. Angle of attack. Imparted force. Take into account all variables.

His body moved slower than he would have liked, but he succeeded. He disarmed his foe. And then ran. Ran so far away. He found his answer though. He would use his tools and his mind to become stronger. He would be the strongest man in the world!

It has been nearly a decade since then and over the years Coren has trained his body and mind to the pinnacle. He constantly tests himself and his creations with bounty hunting and contracts of perhaps a less than savory variety. Strangely enough however, his tool of choice is not one of his complex creations but a simple bow. The seemingly simple shot. So many variables. So much thought to go into it. It was amazing. That is not to say he doesn't use his other tools. There is something satisfying in defeating a "mighty warrior" with something of his own creation. Gears. Machinery. Alchemy. It was all amazing.

Name: Kimiko Kasai the Dominant Flame

Gender: Female

Age: 549 Years of Age (502 upon entry to the world.)

Alignment: Mercenary, though she doesn’t really do evil. Order and structure are her thing. Whether good or evil, if it causes chaos, she is against it.

Race: Kitsune

Personality: As would happen after centuries of life, Kimiko no longer has interest in the petty drives of those shorter lived races. Having been in a position of power, she expects those beneath her (which is just about everybody in her eyes) to listen to what she says and follow her command. Power speaks clearer than words ever could. Those without power have nothing to say.

Powers: The Origin of Flames- Kimiko’s power stems from her deep connection with fire and what comes with it. Heat. Force. Even the cleansing power of fire. Being born of the Kitsune, The Fire Foxes, drew this to a much higher level than an ordinary human studying fire.

Ability: Kimiko trains in close combat martial arts that revolve around using explosive force, or using an enemy’s own force against them

History: Life started as one would normally expect it. Parents. A child. One family. Well, aside from the fact that they were animals. Foxes and all that. That said, being born into a world of fantasy, Kimiko was a lot smarter than foxes of our world. Magical creatures often being so. Her parents were both Magical Animals as well, bearing 2 and 3 tails respectively. This showed that even among their own kind, let alone the whole world, her parent were both of a rather low level.

That would not stop her however. Seeing her family’s low lot in life, she would not be satisfied. As such, it was because of that that she would become strong. Power decided everything in her world, so she needed power. So began her cultivation.

She trained in martial arts for a number of years before finally leaving her home to travel the world. In the local area, she had been the strongest one, already outstripping her weak parent. That changed very quickly in the greater area however, where she was still one of the weakest around. That had to change. Her drive would not falter.

It was here that she began to learn about her races natural affinity with fire. She personally even felt a closer draw to it. Not to just use it, but to understand it. To understand how it began and get a deeper insight into the flames of life itself.

At this point we can skip a number of years into Kimiko’s life where she had finally obtained a much larger insight into power and had just obtained her eighth tail. It was now that her power finally began to assert itself on the world around her. She had peers and equals, as well as those that were still more powerful than her. But for some reason, her blood would not calm. She had not reached what she wanted. Her connection to flames would not let her stop now.

Even though her place in the world was established, it was not enough. She had to get stronger. Just being among the many was not enough. Over the years she met many rivals. Allies. Friends. Even lovers. But some were just humans, and even if they weren’t, they didn’t have the longevity of her own race. It was even said that if a Kitsune could obtain their ninth tail, then they would live forever. Not many in the recent times had accomplished so, so it was unsure whether this was rumour or not.

It was not. Just before the current times, Kimiko did it. She obtained the power of the ninth tail, proving her sovereignty over her own people. She quickly became a figure for her people, and a rallying cry.

Before anything could come of it however, a dimensional rift attacked her world, and in her attempts with her allies to close it she was dragged in.

When she awoke, she was in this strange world.

It has been a number of years since that life changing event, and since then she has dedicated her all for her cultivation. The time would eventually come for order to assert itself in this chaotic world.
