I know it's unrealistic, but...
I want to be a Hero
21 years // 6'1" // 189 lbs. Name: Jochem "Josh" Pullen
Personality:In life, Josh was socially incapable and a wimp, but he had spirit and he was kind, despite his failings. If his few friends were ever in trouble, he was often the first to rush over and ask if/how he could help, and despite his foul tongue, he'd never honestly try to upset anyone. Giving up, also, wasn't in his dictionary. If he considered something important, he'd have at it until either he succeeded, or someone told him to stop already.
Now that he found himself another chance post-mortum, Josh decided to forget who he was back on earth... Well, not entirely, he still longed to be with his friends, after all... Having decided he wanted to be a better person than he had been on earth, Josh made a vow to himself that this time around, he wouldn't avoid people. Instead, he'd help them and strive to make wherever he'd end up a better place. That would be what he'd aim to achieve. Now, the only thing he curses is his unheroic appearance.

Background:
Josh always had trouble interacting with new people, to the point that talking with the person behind the cash register at a shop was already hard on him. Even with his friends he'd occasionally have trouble finding the right words... Still, all this trouble faded once he got behind his keyboard, where he had to face no one, yet could talk to anyone. Josh knows from experience however, that this is hardly an ideal lifestyle. If others weren't online, he'd be alone and bored, with his favorite games quickly growing boring as he simply played them too often. His household was equally much of a strain on him, not because life was truly so rough, but because he couldn't ever catch a break. His parents were impatient and shared none of his interest, so he spent most of his time at school.
Because of this, Josh actually enjoyed going to school. Not that he liked being in class and learning, but at least he had people to talk to there. When he finally graduated high school at age 18, Josh went to college and thankfully he quickly found some people he fit in with, though in a cruel twist of fate, he'd die one day, on his way to a friend's place. A truck collided with the bus he'd taken and the majority of the passengers were severely injured. Only 6 of them actually died, one of which was Josh. In his last moments alive, Josh cursed the only two things he could think of; his poor luck and his inability to motivate himself throughout his life, having left him with a meaningless death before he could achieve anything meaningful.
