Cyren looked at Artemis too,sideways, as Shupavu said the kings worked in mysterious ways. He felt it was right...

He had just met Artemis, and yet he felt for her.

It took him a minute to answer Shupavu, both because of laughter, and then because he realized his leader had spoken. "If he gets to that point, I'll just be able to guard you more." Cyren pointed out, poking fun at him in return.

Cyren nodded lightly. "It is going well. Nikko is a fast learner...he was already taught the basics by a great hunter. I can only further him now." He knew why Shupavu wanted this for his son...He would want his cub to be happy too. If he had cubs. Nikko was the closest he had ever had to a cub, somewhat.

Cyren was definitely blushing now, to say the least. He was happy that Artemis was so at ease somewhat with him. As she pushed him off, he gave her a playful glare before calming himself as he turned to Shupavu, dipping his head. The leader of his pride might be surprised to hear that Cyren's voice..

Was not actually shaky anymore. It was the voice of a lion in use, slightly deep, almost rough around the edges.

Cyren then demonstrated this..by leaping into the air. Pushing off with his legs, he knocked right into Artemis, knocking her off the rock and pinning her.

Cyren crawled along the ground, his body shifting into the position where one would stalk their prey. Nikko had done it earlier. "First, you must balance your weight. If you make a heavy footfall, your prey can hear you like a thundering antelope."

Cyren smiled silently, as he entered the tall grass and then sniffed the air once more before kneeling to whisper to Nikko. "Now, the first rule is..never take more than needed."

Cyren smiled down at Nikko before nodding. "I keep my promises. Let's go train." Then he looked at Artemis. "..If you want to come, you can." He began to walk out and towards the tall grass, scenting the air.

Then, Aion slowly sank down, like a rock, to the bottom of the pool. '..Now let's break my previous times..'

What was the mutant talking about? His record of staying underwater. Aion closed his eyes as he touched the bottom of the pool, remaining calm. So far, he was up to four minutes. Now he aimed for five.

Cyren looked at her, noticing, almost feeling the heat on her face. He smiled shortly afterwards, patting her paw with his own. The emerald eyed lion looked at Nikko and Kalina. "Nikko, let's go train. Kalina, you may come along if you choose to do so. Alright, cubs?"

Cyren nodded, smiling softly as he leaned up. As she brushed up against him, he turned his head, putting it on top of hers, before drawing away playfully. "Do you think we need anything else for the den?"
