Just wanted to say sorry to all my RP partners for my disappearance. Things around my unit have gotten ridiculously busy lately and I have had almost no free time. I'm hoping things calm down soon.

I like just letting people think I'm dumb, it's too much work to open my mouth and prove them right

Bio

Hello my RPing comrades and welcome to my little slice of the internet, help yourself to a cookie. If you have come here you must want to know a little bit about me, colored me faltered!! Well to start I'm a twenty year old male who has been roleplaying for the past six years, I actually got my start on the original site before it went down if anyone was around for those days. I am currently employed as a LPN for the U.S. Army, which is just another way for saying that I usually have quite the busy schedule yay... My interests are pretty simple; gaming, reading, and of course roleplaying!!

As for my RPing skills I usually try to keep to the casual section for RPs, though I have dipped my toes into the advanced sections from time to time, so I usually try to shoot up two to three good paragraphs per post. Interest wise I am a sucker for anything fantasy or superhero based, what can I say dungeons and spandex excite me XD I love a simple slice of life RP too, helps with a change of pace. I normally play male characters, I just feel that I am able to write for them better than a female character. I love talking in the OOC, almost a bit too much so if I am chatting your ear off please tell me to shut my trap, trust me I really need to from time to time.

Oh and please if you want to send me a PM feel more than free to, I love meeting new people, and I only bite half of the time =D

List O Interests:

Fallout
Elder Scrolls
Bioshock
Marvel Universe
DC Universe
My Hero Academia
Percy Jackson

The Wolf Among Us/Fables

Sooo did anyone watch the new teen titans/justice league movie?
Sun shining, bees buzzing, birds chirping, and dogs barking all just proved that it really was a great day for a run through the park. Arty had a content smile on his face as he jogged along the park path, sweat glistening on his brow. Cardio was always the most relaxing part of his work out and Arty loved every minute of it, it gave him time to unwind and to clear his head. The park was just teeming with families spending time together, friends enjoying a day out, and couples enjoying little romantic rendezvous. The monotonous Irishman couldn't help but smile even wider, all the joy around him was just simply contagious.

While he was lost in his bliss filled thoughts Arty apparently had managed to gain himself a running mate. It was a pretty young lady with brilliant blue hair, there seemed to be a lot of those here in Shine City. When the more than slightly oblivious lug finally noticed his new companion she was waving at him. Did she not want him running with her? Arty understood that, sometimes when he really got into a work out he didn't like being distracted by others. But this thought was quickly waved away when his fellow jogger offered him a reassuring smile. "Oh good, she was just sayin' hello." Arty thought with a inward thought of relief.

Just as Arty was about to return the greeting the girl suddenly stopped in what looked like either shock or pain. Arty instinctively stopped and made his way over to the girl, being a bouncer for so long kind of makes a person worry about others. "Excuse me lass, but are ya okay?" He asked, the concern obvious in his voice. Arty hopped that he didn't come off as intruding for randomly showing care for this girl's well being.
"Ha ha, that's my lass!" The red headed behemoth said with a hearty laugh as he listened to the rather rustic looking radio that sat on a small coffee table in front of him. The grinning mountain of a man was no other than Artair Grant, or rather as everyone has come to call him simply Arty, and he was currently reclining his massive frame onto the couch in the living room of his modest apartment. He was enjoying the morning broadcast of Shine City radio just as he always did, though today was more than a bit special given that it was the feisty voice of the fiery DJ Haywood emanating from his radio this time. The young DJ had been quite excited about her upcoming take over of the radio station and Arty couldn't help but hear no end of it whenever the two met up at work. "I'm goin' to have to congratulate her tonight." He thought happily to himself, though the idea left a slightly bitter sweet taste in the Irishman's mouth. The only reason Nori was able to make such a great debut on the Shine City air waves was because Nick, the former host, had gotten himself into some serious trouble. "Poor lad..." Arty thought aloud with a sigh.

With some help from the lively songs that Nori was masterfully choosing and the small fur ball that was Nessie cuddling up to him Arty was able to pull himself out of his sorrow filled thoughts and regain his usual joyful demeanor. "Oi Nes, it is going to be a long day." He said as he gently scratched behind the cat's ears, who was currently curled up in Arty's lap. Arty was of course referring to LUSH's notorious Nightcore and Foam night, it always served to bring in a large crowd which meant that Arty was going to be doing a lot of denying tonight. The allure of club music and dancing in a room full of foam never failed to conjure up hordes of teens trying to sneak in, if only Arty was paid in the amount of fake IDs he saw a night, he could live like a king!

Letting out a chuckle at his own thoughts the giant turned his attention to the tiny feline mewing in his lap. Okay wee one, it is time to start the day." Arty said as he scratched the kitty's chin before carefully setting her to the side of him on the couch. He then stood and stretched out his bare form, letting out a earth shaking yawn. The next few moments consisted of him taking himself into the bathroom, hoping into and taking a quick shower, drying off, then going to get some clothes. It is a good thing the bouncer lived alone, otherwise someone would of got quite the eyeful.

The walking building of a bouncer reemerged from his bedroom dawning his work out gear, a simple dark green sleeveless T-shirt and black gym shorts, and a gym bag slung over his shoulder. He walked back over to the couch where Nessie was still contently curled up. He gave the cat a quick, but soft stroke. "I'll be back later Nes, be a good lass while I'm gone." He cooed to the cat who purred under his touch. With that done Arty set out of his apartment and the building it reside.

The second Arty's massive sneaker covered feet touched the side walk outside his apartment building he started his jog. The giant red head running down his street was a common sight for its residents, ever since moving in Arty had been running this same trail almost daily. It was a rather simple one that lead all the way from Arty's apartment all the way to his gym. Arty ran a few blocks before he got to his favorite part of his run, the little detour he took through Shiny Park. The big lug always like going through the park, the fresh air and smiling faces always refreshed his spirits and drove him the rest of the way through his work out.

"Once you get use to it being dead isn't that bad."

Name
"Not really sure, things before I bit the big one are pretty fuzzy."

Alias
"Haunt, yeah I know very creative."

Species
"I prefer the term living impaired."
Ghost

Age
"Another bit of fuzzy information, all I can say for sure I have been ghosting around for about four years now."
Looks to be about seventeen

Gender
"Now this one I am sure about, I'm all man folks... er well the remains of a man anyways."
Male

Appearance
"Some would say I'm drop dead gorgeous."
Haunt is an... odd sight to describe, mainly do to the sheer fact that the young lad is dead. His skin is corpse white with a blueish tint to it and his hair is pitch black save for the few snow white streaks scattered about. His eyes glow with a eerie green light and he has a small amount of scruff sprouting from his chin. To add to his over all bizarre appearance Haunt is also slightly transparent, the best comparison is that of a heavy fog that you know its there but if you look hard enough you can peer through it. His clothing consists of a large black hooded trench coat over a grey jean jacket and a dark flannel shirt paired with a pair of tattered black jeans and what looks like a set of former work boots, he also wears a pair of black cloth fingerless gloves as well as a black scarf with a white X printed on it around his neck which he occasionally uses to cover the lower half of his face. All of his clothes share his same ghostly transparent qualities.

Ties to Hero
"Nice guy and he is lively just like me."
Sidekick to the hero Deadman

Power(s)
"Being dead has its ups and downs."
Flight
Like all disembodied souls Haunt is not bound to the ground or the rules of gravity and can fly and float as he sees fit.
Invisibility
Haunt can completely disappear from the view of the naked eye, concealing his presence entirely.
Intangibility
Haunt doesn't have to worry about physical obstacles such as doors or walls seeing as he can pass right through them.
Possession
Haunt is able to overshadow and take control of the mind and body of the living, or even inanimate objects, though he has yet to master this power so smarter or stronger willed individuals are a bit more challenging for him to control. He can apply this in more subtle ways by merely hoping into a person's body and leaving them in control and going along for the ride, though he can give them subtle thoughts that they will assume are there own or make them experience things that aren't really happening. While in this state Haunt experiences everything the person he is hiding in does, from what they see to what they think.
Death Echo
Haunt is able to sense death near by, get faint visions of how the death occurred, and if their soul has yet to cross over to the other side even speak with the spirits of the recently deceased.
Specter Leap
Haunt can teleport short distances around himself, blinking around rather quickly in a fog.
Ghostly Presence
All the Traditional "poltergeist" shenanigans such as electronics going haywire, the temperature dropping below freezing, and tossing people and things around the room with a glance. Haunt is still trying to get a hold of all this though it seems to be connected to his emotional state at the moment, the more upset he is the stronger these super natural happenings become.
Spiritual Split
Unlike physical beings Haunt isn't restricted to only being in one place at single given time, he is able to split his consciousness into multiple parts effectively making duplicates of himself. At the moment he can only split himself into a max of four separate copies, anymore right now he starts to strain himself.
Wraith Wrath
Haunt can tap into the super natural essence that make up his spiritual being and expel it in many forms of ghostly green energy. He has been seen releasing it in rapid fire blasts, concentrated explosive like bombs, whole waves, spinning disks, and many more. He can also construct protective constructs with it, creating reflective shields or even whole domes to protect others around him.
Banshee Screech
Probably one of his most powerful powers Haunt is able to unleash a super natural wail that practically shakes the world around him, blowing anything in front of him away and turning a whole city block into a disaster zone. Though at the moment whenever he uses this power he "phases out" for awhile, having to take a bit of time to reconstruct himself.

Skills/Abilities
"I'm quite the talented guy."
Low Maintenance
Being dead Haunt doesn't have to worry about pesky things like eating, sleeping, or even breathing for that matter. No risk of broken bones or bruised skin when you don't have any in the first place.
Friends On The Otherside
Having spent so much time ghosting his way around the world Haunt has become pretty familiar with the world of the Supernatual, having met up with everything from witches and warlocks to vampires and werewolves.

Weapons/Gadgets
"I don't have the best grip in the world sooooo.... no."
Besides the metaphorical clothes on his metaphorical back Haunt doesn't carry or need a thing.

History
"They say you see a bright light when it all ends, that you either get to go live in paradise up in the clouds or you go and get deep fried down south. Well all I got was a whole hell of a lot of questions and a new appreciation for the term out of body experience. I can't tell you how jarring the first few months of being dead is like, you can't even hold your form together and whenever you do manage to pull yourself together you only do it long enough to scare the pants off of whoever is near by. If that wasn't bad enough you spend your time drifting aimlessly around bumping into other dead people and trust me they are not the liveliest of people.

But luckily for me I eventually bumped into the right dead guy, my main man Deadman that is. He showed me the ropes of this whole ghost deal, taught me how to keep myself together and even use some of these awesome powers I have. To pay him back I lent him a hand with his superhero business and honestly it felt pretty great, fighting bad guys saving lives. I felt like I found what I was meant to do.

Eventually though Deadman felt that it was time I made a name for myself outside of being his sidekick, something about each soul having their own path to follow, so me and him broke off and I stroke out on my own. Well that was until I found the team, some pretty cool young heroes that don't seem to mind having a dead guy like me around.

But do you know what the real kicker in all of this is? I have no idea who I was before I kicked the bucket, so much for trying to figure out your unsorted business nonsense I guess.

Personality
"I guess you can call me a spiritual guy."
Overall Haunt is a laid back guy with a real go with the flow attitude, it is kind of hard to get to the guy who is already dead. He has a pretty good sense of humor, usually making a pun or a joke at his own expense. He isn't the brightest bulb in the bunch, higher level thinking is lost on him and don't expect him to come up with any too complicated plans to save the day, but he is by no means stupid and he does have a good amount of common sense which seems to be lacking in a lot of young heroes. He is more than happy to be a shoulder to cry on, well figuratively, and listen to the problems of others. He does have some solid advice to lend others, though it may seem a bit simple it more often than not is the right way to handle things. Despite his light hearted nature Haunt can get really serious and isn't above putting someone in there place if they step out of line, though he would prefer not to be the guy who has to do it.

Friends
"A real lively bunch of people I swear."
Deadman
His mentor and father figure, the two are really close.
The Spector
The two have met a few times. Haunt sees him as an amazing and powerful ghost hero, but also something he is terrified of becoming... a ghost who has forgotten his humanity
Secret
Another teen ghost hero. They two have met before and seem to get each other pretty well

Family
"I uh... don't really remember..."

Crush/Relationship
"I'm as free as a spirit can be. I doubt there are any necrophiliacs around here any way."

Designation
"Thirteen, such a lucky number, defiantly fitting."
B-13

Other
Since Haunt doesn't sleep he spends the nights binge watching movies and TV shows, namely horror or comedies though they have the same effect on him either way.
He is known to ghost into the movie theaters to catch free movies.

@Dynamo Frokane@Narcotic Dollie Just to save you guys from having to go back a few pages, here is Arty in all his Irish glory as well as me hoping for approval =)
