Just wanted to say sorry to all my RP partners for my disappearance. Things around my unit have gotten ridiculously busy lately and I have had almost no free time. I'm hoping things calm down soon.

Ice hockey is basically just people wearing knife shoes fighting each other with long sticks for the last Oreo.

I like just letting people think I'm dumb, it's too much work to open my mouth and prove them right

Bio

Hello my RPing comrades and welcome to my little slice of the internet, help yourself to a cookie. If you have come here you must want to know a little bit about me, colored me faltered!! Well to start I'm a twenty year old male who has been roleplaying for the past six years, I actually got my start on the original site before it went down if anyone was around for those days. I am currently employed as a LPN for the U.S. Army, which is just another way for saying that I usually have quite the busy schedule yay... My interests are pretty simple; gaming, reading, and of course roleplaying!!

As for my RPing skills I usually try to keep to the casual section for RPs, though I have dipped my toes into the advanced sections from time to time, so I usually try to shoot up two to three good paragraphs per post. Interest wise I am a sucker for anything fantasy or superhero based, what can I say dungeons and spandex excite me XD I love a simple slice of life RP too, helps with a change of pace. I normally play male characters, I just feel that I am able to write for them better than a female character. I love talking in the OOC, almost a bit too much so if I am chatting your ear off please tell me to shut my trap, trust me I really need to from time to time.

Oh and please if you want to send me a PM feel more than free to, I love meeting new people, and I only bite half of the time =D

List O Interests:

Fallout
Elder Scrolls
Bioshock
Marvel Universe
DC Universe
My Hero Academia
Percy Jackson
Harry Potter
The Wolf Among Us/Fables
Star Wars
Borderlands
Overwatch
Mass Effect
Oh and of course...
DRAGON AGE!!!

@XAnthProper It should hold enough for twenty people, in other words just to last me a day or so XD All kidding aside if you are asking how many people we are taking on I am unsure, I guess it all depends how many people actually show up from the interest check
@Tackytaff As of the moment our ship is still open to any scallywag who can make it on board. Though that life boat may come in handy, I hear the captain has a real thing for the ale XD
@Tackytaff Happy to have you aboard =)
@T Risket Sounds good to me dude =)
@T Risket I know I am really limiting character creation with that rule XD
@XAnthProper XD Why thank you my good sir.

"I am who I am, there is not a damn thing you can do to change that."

Name
"Captain" Vat-Katari

Age
35

Gender
Male

Race
Tal-Vashoth

Class/Specialization
Mage
Saarebas

Appearance
Vat-Katari, like the rest of his people, is a massive individual when compared to the other races. Standing at a staggering 7'4" and having a incredibly robust body build many consider Vat-Katari to have quite the intimidating stature. His hair is a wild white mane that hangs down below his shoulders that is paired with a fair amount of facial hair, though no where near the standard Dwarf amount. His eyes are a bright copper color, being borderline red. Vat-Katari is covered from head to toe in a mind boggling amount of scars, looking like has had been attacked with everything from an arrow to Mage lightning. He dawns a various assortment of piercings all over his body, even on his horns. Vat-Katari wears a small amount of armor paired with a full body painting of Vitaar.

Abilities
Asaara's Leap
Vat-Katari launches himself across the battle field, turning himself into a living projectile, and lands in a devastating explosion of elemental magic.
Saar-Taar Shield
Vat-Katari erects a barrier of protective magic around himself acting like a set of armor and warding off harm.
Ataashi's Breath
Vat-Katari lets loose a destructive wave of elemental magic to decimate the enemies before him.
Gaatlok Blast
Vat-Katari hurls stones pulled from the fade and charged with elemental magic at his foes.
Hand Of Issqun
Vat-Katari bends the veil to create a large telekinetic hand to combat foes.
Fury Of The Ataashi
Vat-Katari surrounds his hands in elemental magic, forming claw like constructs to eviscerate foes.
(Think something like Dragon Rage from Inquisition, but with added elemental effects)

Personality
Matching his large and intimidating appearance Vat-Katari's demeanor can be just as overwhelming for some. Contrasting what many expect from his Qunari kin Vat-Katari is a hearty man who indulges himself on all the pleasures of life, from strong drink to beautiful women. He has a strong respect for the concept of freedom, believing it being the sole thing that defines a person in the end. Vat-Katari is cutthroat pure and simple, having no problems with getting his hands dirty to get the job done. Like any good sell sword Vat-Katari will practically take any job if the coin is good enough. Despite his massive greed Vat-Katari has his few good character traits such as his loyalty, if someone manages to earn that from him he'd face an Archdemon for them if he had to.

Origin
"Some would say being born in a war torn land to a bunch of rebels is kind of a shite start to life, but if you ask me it builds character! Yeah I was born on Seheron and my parents were part of the Tal-Vashoth, from what I am told my father was a solider and my mother some priestess before they decided to ditch the teachings of the Qun. Best way I can describe life among the Tal-Vashoth is like living with a bandit gang, hold up the locals for what you need to survive then you take whatever they have left. Life back then was full of cave for homes, rocks for beds, and more shite tasting food than you can imagine, but by Andraste's tits it beat the alternative of being part of the Qun!

I got older and started going out on raids with the rest of the Tal-Vashoth, I got pretty good at it too. Unlike my brothers in arms I didn't have nug turd for brains, rather than blindly attacking whoever was close by and convenient I actually got us going after targets worth having. Qunari weapon shipments, Tevinter supply caravans, hell even fog warrior camps all started to make their way on the top of our hit lists all thanks to me. Things only got better once I learned I was a Saarebas, or a mage as you lot call us. Luckily there were few other Saarebas in our group that gave me pointers so I didn't find myself with a demon clawing its way around my skull. Once I got a hang of things I became a real pain in the ass for the Qunari, a good chunk of their supplies went missing because of me.

As glamorous trekking through the jungles of some shite filled island and living off scraps is it gets a bit tiresome after awhile so I eventually found myself moving on to better pastors. I managed to get myself off Seheron and to the mainland where I got myself some good work as a sell sword. It wasn't too long into my career that I eventually got hired onto a ship as some extra muscle. That was when I realized that a life on the sea for me, that and the fact that the captain wasn't that hard on the eyes either. I spent a few years sailing the seas with that crew, but it eventually had to come to an end. So that brings us to now, I'm looking for a new crew to sail with. Now that story time is over how about you buy the next round?"

Other
Has developed quite the sweet tooth since coming to the main land, most noticeably Orlesian pastries.
ATTENTION: THIS RP IS OFFICIALLY FULL AND NO LONGER TAKING MORE PEOPLE IN. Thank you for your interest but we don't have more room at the moment

"Where ever we want to go we go. That's what a ship is, you know? I's not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails, that's what a ship needs. What a ship is, is freedom."

In a world that was just on the brink of destruction there are many who wish to heal it, to right the countless wrongs that were committed in the wake of the atrocity that was the fifth blight... then there are us. Where some are assisting others out of their pure hearts or code of honor we are doing for simple coin and fame, maybe a little bit of fun. With all of that aside the long and short of this is that we will be playing a band of sea adventuring mercenaries that are taking jobs around Thedas. The time period is set after the end of the fifth blight in Orgins but before the mage rebellion officially kicked off in Dragon Age 2. We will be starting in Kirkwall where our group will officially come together for the first time. But lets get to the fun part now, yes kidos it is time for the rules!

Da Rulez:
1. First off the time honored one for all RPs, no godmodding or powerplaying. If there are fights in the IC, and I hope there are, just try not to be like the kid on the play ground that says "You didn't hit me because of my super-duper-nothing-can-break shield was on!"
2. This one goes hand in hand with the first rule. When you are making a character don't go over board, as in being a mage is one thing but being the host of an ancient elven god tainted by the blight and can control the Darkspawn is something else. Trust me it has happened before.
3. I don't mind drama in the IC, it's suppose to be there, but let's keep it out of the OOC, good vibes only dudes and dudettes
4. PG-13 guys, that goes for romance and fighting. No all out bloods baths in the IC and keep the serious romance in the PMs
5. Let us know if you're going to be gone for more than a day or so, I don't mind it just keeps people from being stuck in post lock
6. My Co-GM spot for this RP is currently open, if you are interested in the position I would be more than happy if you asked for it.
7. Feel free to shoot any of your ideas at me at any time I don't mind at all :)
8. Have fun!
