Fall of Vedrus

Rosline winced a bit as she walked and tried to keep from showing the pain she felt. "So, about that offer." she started to saw then realized how much of a mess she really was. There was still blood on her clothes and her body was caked with dirt and grime mixed with sweat. "After we see what is going on, could you possibly help me to a river or creak? I need to wash up. Unladylike like to be filthy." Roz shot him a smirk and smiled through her pain.

As they got up to Crim and Leo, Rosline stumbled a little and fell onto Alexander. "I'm sorry." she groaned out, holding her stomach. It felt as if her insides would spill out if she didn't. When the pain grew to much Roz knelt down near Alexander and Crim.

When Rosline knelt down, Crim knew something was very wrong. She knelt down beside her and took her hand. "Roz, do you want my help? I can heal it enough that the pain will be standable." she was concerned, but at the same time she knew her friend was strong and would prefer to deal with the pain on her own.

Rosline shook her head and knelt on the ground and smiled. "It's alright Crim, I'll be fine on my own. Just need to take it easy. Almost died today and I'm up and walking already." she laughed a little until it hurt then looked up at them. "Give a lady a hand?" Roz asked Alexander with a smile.

Leilu

It took Lielu a good minute to actually open her eyes after she was made aware of her own consciousness. The light was a bit harsh to them so she gave them a moment to adjust. When they adjusted enough to the brightness they hadn't been subjected to since she went into stasis, she open and closed them a few time. Luckily they didn't feel dry so they didn't bother her much. Shortly after her eyes adjusted she gained control over her limbs slowly. Breathing deeply hurt and stung in her lungs for a bit, but her body quickly got used to the amount of air she was breathing in now.

Quickly she got her barrings and her strength enough to get out of her stasis pod. Feeling fresh air hit her lungs felt great and it tasted sort of sweet to her. Leilu took a second to walk in a circle and around a bit to check her strength. After she did her own little check over herself and made sure her body was functioning right, Leilu did a little exercise. A few jumping jacks never hurt anyone, right?

When it was her turn to take her own quiz, she logged on and took her time. She was a bit distracted but even still Leilu aced it. A smiled appeared on her face as she finished and walked toward the outside. First she would have to check on Grigori, her companion she asked for, before venturing around. They had similar instincts, due to their nature, so it wouldn't be hard to find him. After all, she couldn't see the outdoors without Gori.

As she walked over to where he was held Leilu looked at the other animals. Many were just waking up like her fellow crew mates, others were either still out or had been awake long enough to wonder around their stalls. As she walked over to Gori's she saw he was awake and energized, ready to see the outdoors. "Hey bud. Ready to go outside?" she asked as she held her hand out toward him. He looked up and walked over to her hand, nuzzling against it and headbutting it. "I'll take that as a yes." Leilu smiled and laughed a bit. All she had to do was find the animal caretaker and see if Gori was fit to roam around with her. So she turned and looked for her amongst the animals.

River looked around cautiously and held her knife ready. As she took a step out the door it swung back and hit her, knocking her to the ground and her knife out of her hand. In response River rolled over and kicked the door back into the person behind it. Causing the person to stumble backwards, she saw that they were in fact not infected but another survivor. "Thought he said get down!" she yelled at the person, who was ironically now panted on the ground holding their nose. "Jace it's a live one." River called back to her "partner".

River grabbed her knife and got up off the ground, dusting herself off. "Well, since you're still on your ass I'll try diplomacy now. Who are you and what the hell are you doing here?" she shook her head then crossed her arms as she interrogated the stranger. For a good minute there was only silence. "Look, I'm just a slight bit pissed from you're "hello". Forgive me if I'm rude. Just please answer the questions. Who are you and what are you doing here?" River asked with a sigh, shaking her head again but this time at herself.

River nodded and agreed with him. He did have a point. "Alright. Sounds good to me." she looked at the alley door and walked over to it, cautiously due to what had come down it before. She put her hand on the nob but hesitated for a second, hearing something on the other side of the door. She motioned for Jace to come over and pulled out her butterfly knife ready to attack. "Something's out there. Ready?" she whispered to him. River waited for a second, drew a breath and looked at Jace, then opened the door poised to strike.

Crim stood behind Leo cautiously. If the big man stirred or thrashed as he woke up, Crim didn't want to be too close. She couldn't exactly risk it in her current state. "What is the rope for? Leo, who is he?" Crim asked concerned. She put her hand on his shoulder blade. Concerned seemed to be the only feeling she had recently. Concern and protectiveness over her younger dragons. She acted as Seralth did with the little ones.

Rosline stayed with Alexander, using him to keep herself up and to walk. Her stomach still ached from the pain but she was healing quicker than everyone expected. With her enhanced healing it became harder not to shift. When she got mad she felt as if she would turn into a bear in front of everyone. Upset was always a small fox. Roz was unsure why her shifting ability seemed to be acting up. "Should we go check it out?" she looked up at Alexander and asked. She was curious but still unsure of the situation. "I mean, Crim is down there. Why cant a cripple like me join in the fun?" Roz added jokingly to held his arm tightly to keep her balance.

A cross between a dragon and a wolf. Looks like a serpentine wolf, with long, bird-like wings and horns atop its head, with an elongated tail. Usually has a dark coat with markings along its body, starting at its face. Very agile and quick, light on its feet. Make great hunters and companions as their loyalty is no joke. They are very stealthy creatures that like to blend into their surroundings.

Life and Death is a Game!

River looked at her wrist and followed the chain with her eyes to her partner. She was conscious and alert, but she was frightened and her nerves felt shot. What kind of game was this? People were going to die? Why was her location unimportant. River had so many questions but she calmed herself and looked at the person that would be her partner. Please don't die on me was her first thought but River shook her head and glanced around looking at their surroundings. Then she looked back at her partner.

"So, guess we should get acquainted. Might as well with the free time we have. I have a feeling it wont be like this often." River shot a slight smile at them, trying to seem friendly. The silence would only make her anxious, so she tried to fill the silence and star up conversation. "Seems like a lovely place. Wonder what the outside looks like." River added as she looked around again.
