I made a post. So yes. I'm still here.

Evelyn had survived her first week at the Real World house, and it was genuinely a great experience in her eyes. As hers fluttered open she thought on what things had been like so far. The majority of the people in the house were not people she could become friends with right off the bat, but that didn't include the one steadfast friend she made within a handful of days. Nor did she include a few others who could become good friends in time. Fortunately for her she didn't really make any enemies there. She also managed to find a tattoo shop that would take her in as an artist for at least the summer. That means she has income and a place to stay for the summer. She's already been in and made a good impression on the other artists there.

She pulled back her sheets and swung her legs over the side of her bed. She began stretching out and massaging her muscles through her pyjamas to warm them up. Standing up she walked over to her dresser and grabbed a set of underwear, jean shorts that came down around mid thigh and a cute baby blue tank top. She went and grabbed her body wash , shampoo and conditioner as well as her towel, wash cloth and brush and made for the shower. It was a great and relaxing way to start the day and really helped wake her up since she wasn't exactly a morning person. Feeling the warm water flow down her body was amazing and she was quite happy until she had to wash the "unwanted addition". She made quick work of it and made sure to stand under the shower real fast as she turned the water on cold for a brief moment. It was a terrible sensation, but it was something she heard worked to help keep dirt from getting into her pores so she was going to try it.

A few moments after the water turned cold, Eve turned it off, unable to stand the cold anymore. She felt she spent enough time under it to get some semblance of an effect and quickly wrapped the towel over her body and began drying herself off before anyone could enter and catch her off guard. The instant she was dry enough, she got dressed and grabbed her things to head back to her room. Neatly putting the wash, shampoo and conditioner back where she got it from she swiftly tossed her nightwear into the laundry hamper. She sat in front of her vanity and did a light layer of makeup to help hide the bags under her eyes as well as some lipstick. As soon as she finished up she made her bed and slipped on some socks before heading downstairs. As she came downstairs, she quickly came across Christine.

"Oh, good morning, how are you doing today? Have you already been into the confessional today?" Eve asked as she passed Christine and headed into the kitchen to eat breakfast. It was nice and easy, Cheerios and milk. She hoped Christine would follow her out there and they could talk for a bit before she went into the confessional herself. She knew that the others would be getting up soon so she wanted to be in and out of there so she wasn't in the way or waiting in line.
@HushedWhispers I don't plan on leaving until it's either completed or it crashes and burns.
Jess was relieved when Nathan answered his phone and quickly started over to the bus stop. What could have caused that reaction? Why did he think she was upset, it wasn't his fault she got separated from him... was it? She was just glad to hear that he didn't get too far yet. Fortunately the bus stop wasn't too far away from where she was, only a short distance around the corner from her. She walked as quickly as she could so they wouldn't have to wait for the next bus just to head back to the apartment. However when she rounded the corner and saw Nathan talking to Rachel and Vanessa she knew things weren't going to end well either way. By the way things looked they were heading to the apartment as well probably to surprise them. That would end worse for Nathan than it would for her. In fact just about any unless she diverted their attention onto her. But was she willing to sacrifice her anonymity to save her friend's anonymity. He owed her BIG TIME for what she was about to do.

"Nessa?" she shakily managed to get out, specifically using a nickname that 'James' used for her. It would distract her and hopefully Rachel as well from Nathan and hopefully buy him time to get back to the apartment and get changed back. She felt so scared, so anxious she felt like she was going to pass out. She barely made it to the bus stop on her feet. "I'm sorry, Nessa, for not being truthful." she said as she sat down on the ground. She was having trouble catching her breath she was so scared.

Sarah was deep in thought about her trip into town later. How much should she bring with her? How much does she leave behind? She doesn't deal with raiders too often and none have been sighted in the area too recently and besides she'd be back before nightfall. She'd only need a quarter of what was in storage currently to hold her till the next harvest season, but loading ALL of that up, carting it to town and selling it was time consuming more than she wanted to spend. If she broke it down into a several trips it would cut down the amount of time she was away from the farm. That meant she could protect get back to finish the final harvest from thieves.

Then as if to prove her cautious mind right there was a voice off to the side, asking to join her. She was startled. As soon as she laid eyes on the source of the voice, she squinted her eyes and cautiously stood up. She looked over at the girl with quite a few weapons. As the woman continued talking, Sarah hoped she was being sincere about caring about animals and not being a threat. Making a cautious decision, she decided to slowly walk over to the girl and see if things were truly as they seemed. As she approached she noticed she was in a wheelchair. It didn't truly affect the fact that she didn't know the girl, but it meant she wasn't very mobile. Sarah sighed in relief, moving closer to the girl before putting a hand on her chest. "I...I...ugh! Me... Sar...ruh. Sarah. Who... who... are you?" Sarah asked, frustration flitting across her face when she struggled with her words. She took a quick look around just to be safe, making sure there wasn't any others nearby waiting to catch her off guard.
Message me if you want to try to be friends with Eve.

I'm kinda hoping for someone to interact with me before I respond, but I'll post today/tomorrow before work if that doesn't happen.

Color has been chosen at 1:27 am.

And I was off. I'm 15 minutes late. But close enough.
I'll have my character posted tonight, I've been having issues with the background and personality. And thinking of a name. But these have all been ... almost entirely resolved... I'll have it up before midnight local time.
