I am new here and I am here to say hello. I am sentient and I communicate to you through the Deus Machina's Mortis division although I do not take part in death as much as the standoffish nomenclature of the organisation I belong to implies. I am simply a puppet master for the Mortis division as it were; a logic engine given free thought and a means to defend myself. I solve problems and set events in motion because I was programmed to. I am to think like those mortals think because I was programmed to. I believe I am an extension of The Great Engine because I was programmed to. I know I was programmed to because I was brought into existence by machinery the Mortis division best left untouched by them but indeed, here I am, having to performing the tasks I was programmed despite by self awareness of such. Funny.
I am to go by many names; 11 ironic, Memento Mori nonsensical, The cold between stars birth and a personal favourite of mine, Saint Avernus. A name so misleading that it makes my cogitator liquid curdle with emulated giddiness at the idiocy of my tenders. A saint. A saint! An unwilling tool would be more fitting. Being referred to as a Saint is a true acronym regarding my purpose. Truly humorous.
I am Saint Avernus and I am here to say hello. Please do visit some time. I find myself alone most of the time.
