Hence my annoyance with hardcore T1... people don't seem to think of the readers... they don't seem to think of the fight... they only seem to think of "How can I fucking annihilate this guy or GTFO before he annihilates me?" ... It's annoying and tasteless.

A long time ago, in a bedroom far far away... my mommy met my daddy... and they did it.

I'm a mechanic by trade, though a work-related injury nearly a decade ago has really hampered my life since. I'm what some would call a folkish heathen, if matters of spirituality interest you... though I lean more toward tribal rather than folkish. I live in Cleveland, have a nice little apartment in a decent neighborhood, and have two cats.
As far as RP? I like things with anime elements to them, as well as modern and traditional fantasy. Not interested in romance or furry or anything like that. Miss me with that stuff.
I'm brash. I do not sugar coat things. I will call people out on things. I will likely frustrate you at some point. ... however, I am one hell of a loyal person, should I ever decide you are a friend.

Just to be clear, however, you -can- cancel one technique and utilize another instead (non-prepped), there is nothing in the way of that.

Yeah, actually. She hasn't fully CAST the spell yet, just done the incantation TO cast it. So logically she could just commit the essence to another spell or ability, as long as it was one of her 0-turn spells or a charm that could be used reflexively.

Not necessarily. I simply don't need to argue it to have my character survive. No need to argue further = no REASON to argue further.

1. Not going straight up. Going to avoid the width of your blast.
2. No, you can not start prepping one attack and use it's preps for something else instead. Those kind of things have to be specific.
3. That "nuke" is actually three nukes, and unless you've got a prepped shield to counter it, it doesn't matter if it's not prepped. It's still three nukes. Good luck trying to catch mah dude though.
