@Raijinslayer Seems we've got our opening. I'll be getting a post together tomorrow evening and having Seth work on Jaden to get him back on his feet. My only question is how far away from the Lodge were you thinking this took place? Completely out of sight of it, just a ways away that the crowd wouldn't notice Max (especially with the ruckus in the GM post), somewhere in between perhaps?

And @TalijaKey, just to make sure, Zorua is currently hanging out under a random car parked outside the Lodge sizing up the trainers he sees and waiting for a sucker like a likable dude like Seth to come around, right? Would you prefer a back-and-forth for that encounter, or a collaboration post (I'm fine either way, whichever's easier for you)?

@Holy Soldier @Raijinslayer Seth's silence would vary greatly on the circumstances presented. As they stand now he's going to be too pre-occupied with making sure Jaden is alright and helping him to call 911 or otherwise alert the authorities (not to mention VERY wary of Max in general), but if they come over and start asking questions I can't guarantee anything one way or the other prior to it actually happening.

@darkwolf687this is only my first time doing this rp, so maybe there was another way to do it once. But my understanding is there is a quota of brides that must be filled. All brides have meet a certain standard to be accepted. I just feel like drakken should get some say in who they take, otherwise we would have more that come from poorer backgrounds than we do.

Edit: I could be wrong, this is just how my brain makes sense if it.

The way I always presumed before and now was there was a group of Drakken with cooler heads and lower standing whose job was bridal candidate selection; once however often, they fan out to the villages and select the Gems from the available maidens, incentivized to make good choices by a cut of the dowry and possibly the occasional commission for a particular type. The Gems have some haggling power and a few agreements (like not taking the heir apparent if she's an only child), but it's largely on the Fetchers.

That's my suggestion, take it or leave it.

@Raijinslayer@CriticalHit Seeing as Seth is slated to be the only Trainer with less than 3 PC Pokemon thus far, it seems to me I ought to have a little priority. Luxray also happens to be my favorite Electric type, so I'd be happy to have him if Critical's cool with it!

@Saltwater Thief I set up Zorua now, so its up to you when you want him to join you. When you leave the trainer house for the forest entrance with Jaden, or prefer after everything is done. Seth simple has to walk by the parked car for Z to come up to him and ask him to train him maybe.

Sounds good to me! Raijin and I are still hashing things out, but I'll be sure to work that into it.

I've also been doing some thinking on Nicknames. I've got a few ideas, but I was leaning more toward Zeke than anything else (since I've gotten so used to calling him Z, but leaving it as that is lame). That sound alright, or would you like to hear some other options?
