The time has come for you to fulfill your destiny. As a Half-Blood it is your duty to participate in the legendary trials known as "The Battle of Mount Olympus." Included in this letter are specific instructions you are to follow exactly as written. Accommodations such as plane tickets, lodging, etc. have all been provided. Attendance is mandatory and any rebellion will result in severe punishment. Not only for you but possibly for others as well. You are to represent your immortal parent in an upcoming competition to demonstrate strength, honor, and cunning.

The Olympian Pantheon


In Greek Mythology there were a handful of immortal beings said to rule the world. These deities tended to watch Earth from another realm known as Olympus. A heavenly plain untouchable by mere mortals. Occasionally they would interact with humans and other wildlife that resided in the physical world. Whether the reason is curiosity or temptation is hard to say. 

In their boredom, the malevolent beings decided to create an annual event as a form of entertainment. This event was known as The Battle of Mount Olympus. Once every century a sort of triathlon would take place in an effort to demonstrate the strength and cunning of each participant. In preparation, each individual deity would visit Earth and choose a human to conceive their child years before the event. Being half-human and half God, these offspring were known as Half-Bloods. Entities that were specifically created to act as contenders in the challenges assigned to them. Not by means an invitation. More like a summons... No one had ever refused to participate in the Battle before. No one would dare. Attached to each summons was a warning that those who chose to rebel would be wiped from existence as punishment. Those who refused would not only perish, but they would cease to exist completely. 
At first, to test their strength the "Half-Bloods" would face creatures of legend. Few to be named were the Chimera, Cyclops, the Minotaur, even Medusa. The preliminary rounds were used to give the contenders a sort of practice to hone their ability. Once they have proven their worth and had perfected their powers, the victors would move on to then face each other. Participating in one-on-one combat, Half-Blood against Half-Blood. Not all battles ended in death but accidents do happen.
As a reward, the final champion would be granted immortality as well as a home on Mount Olympus. They would achieve Godlike status and become a Demi-God. Any wish they so desired would be granted and all loved ones would want for nothing. Whoever had survived the contest but failed to become champion would simply resume their lives on Earth.


1. When applying for a character please post your CS in the OOC for review.
2. When you or other characters are speaking please use your/their assigned dialogue color.
3. Would prefer all characters to be anime/drawn.
4. The GM can refuse a concept for any reason. I will generally work with you to fix up the character until they can be accepted.
5. If it is detrimental to the storyline I would prefer being messaged for plot ideas.
6. Once Character Sheet is approved please move it to the Character tab.
7. Before accepting a character I will check previous posting history to make sure writing length/style is up to par.
8. Just to make sure that you have read the rules before applying please post your favorite ice cream flavor with your CS.
9. You are allowed to act as your Olympian deity in your posts so that your character can interact with their parent. Just know that I reserve the right to act as the Olympian as well in regards to the plotline.
10. Follow all the rules of the forum. (Obviously)
11. If you need more time on a post or have questions/would like advice please feel free to reach out.
12. You must post once every 7 days - once your last post on RPG reads as 8 days ago you will be removed from the RP.If you need an extension, ask!! They are rarely denied
13. Each post should include at least three well-developed paragraphs. Either five long sentences or 10+ short sentences. 
14. When interacting with others be sure to tag them in your responding post.
15. Deadline for CS submissions is December 30th!


In an effort to keep the competition as random as possible the results of each trial will go as follows:
***During each trial a 20 sided dice will be rolled to determine the victor of each round. The results of the roll will be posted in the OOC tab with all participating characters tagged. Each character acting in the fight will create a post fitting the dice roll.

Roll 1-8: Player One Wins
Roll 9-12: It's a draw and both players will live to see another day.
Roll 13-20: Player Two Wins

If you lose the battle this does not mean your character dies! Unless otherwise determined your character can still interact as a student, you will just be disqualified from the competition. This is so character relationships can further develop beyond losses.

Loosely translated it means magic or sorcerer. The island resides just off the coast of Greece near St. Croix giving the privacy needed to take on such matters. Far from prying eyes, each competitor could carry on without the fear of being discovered by mortals. The only people inhabiting the island were the High Preist/Priestesses and their descendants. Frequently nicknamed the Maji, these beings were mortals who had magic in their blood due to the many years of servitude provided by their ancestors. The Priests and their families lived their daily lives in an effort to aid and empower the god they serve. They act as staff when the annual event is held. During this time they would fill the role of teachers, cooks, custodians, etc. Making sure that their guests wanted for nothing and that the competition would run smoothly.

The only way to get to the island was by ferry. Individuals would report to the boat in the neighboring coast a few hours away. The Half-Bloods would be notified to arrive on the premises during a specific date for an orientation of sorts. During the orientation they would be given a debriefing on future events as well as a tour of the land and the buildings upon it. 



A completely modernized and renovated building, the school on the island was a tad smaller than most institutions but fully functional. Massive size had been disregarded due to the fact that the class roster never exceeded 20 students at a time. During weekdays classes will be held here in an attempt to better acclimate the Half-Bloods in their studies as well as their abilities. General studies would be taught to help the students carry on a normal life when returning to their homes. The credits would go towards prerequisites they would need to obtain during their first college years. Magic theory would also be taught so that the students would better understand the dynamics of their ability. It could also serve as a workshop of sorts to create new techniques. 



During gym class the participants will meet here to put their magic theory into physical practice. Here they will practice various skills and improve attributes such as agility and stamina. 
Every Sunday the Half-Bloods will participate in trials associated with the Battle of Olympus. Spectators during the challenges include magical creatures/beings, the gods themselves, and contestants who are not participating that day.



Basic necessities like lodging and food were provided free of charge to all students. 
The dorms were the size of luxury houses that overlooked the ocean. There were seven in total and each house would home two students. All dwellings were equipped with top of the line appliances including but not limited to jacuzzi bathtubs and full range kitchens.

God of the sky, lightning, and thunder. Known as the King of Gods on Mount Olympus.




Queen of the Gods and is the wife of Zeus in the Olympian pantheon. She is known for being the Goddess of Marriage & Birth. Despite being the Goddess of Marriage, she was known to be jealous and vengeful towards the many lovers and offspring of her husband Zeus.




God of the underworld. Ruler of the dead.




God of the sea, earthquakes, storms (tsunamis), and horses. Known to be one of the worst tempered/moody/greedy of the Olympian Gods.




Goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, law and justice, strategic warfare, mathematics, strength, strategy, the arts, crafts, and skill.




Known as the Sun God. God of healing, medicine, music, poetry, and prophecy. He was known to be the leader of the Muses.

Goddess of hunting, wild nature, and chastity. The daughter of Zeus and sister of Apollo, Artemis was regarded as a patron of girls and young women and a protectress during childbirth. Known as the Virgin Goddess.




God of war and strength. Perhaps the most unpopular of all the Olympian gods because of his quick temper, aggressiveness, and an unquenchable thirst for conflict. Basically thrives on drama.




Goddess associated with love, beauty, pleasure, passion and procreation. The most beautiful being in existence.




Goddess of the harvest and presides over grains and the fertility of the earth. She was also goddess of sacred law and the cycle of life and death. (Referring to the story of how the seasons came to be. While Hades rules over the dead, Demeter focuses on the steps to get there.)




God of wine, winemaking, grape cultivation, fertility, ritual madness, theater, and religious ecstasy. The God of celebration/party God.




God of trade, heralds, merchants, commerce, roads, thieves, trickery, sports, travelers, and athletes. Known as the mischeivious prankster among the Gods.




God of fire, metalworking, stone masonry, forges and the art of sculpture. He was the son of Zeus and Hera and married to Aphrodite by Zeus to prevent a war of the gods fighting for her hand. He was a smithing god, making all of the weapons for Olympus and acting as a blacksmith for the gods.

Biography~Personality

Ravi had been born and raised in an Indian province known as Himachal Pradesh. At the time he and his parents barely had a rupee to their name. In an effort to give their son a better life, his mother thought it would be best for Ravi to be adopted into an  American family. Once the paperwork had been signed and everything was made nice and legal, Ravi headed out to Gatling Texas to meet his new family, the Callums. The couple who had taken him in had been in their 40's. Don Callum spent his days as a court judge specializing mainly in civil dispute cases. His wife Martha was a part-time librarian who also took care of the house. After almost two decades of trying, they had given up on the idea of having their own children. Instead, they thought it would be best to adopt a child from an impoverished nation.

His first year of middle school would consist of all the necessary courses one would take, but all his electives were remedial in an effort for him to adjust in his new setting. At first the transition was pretty hard on him. Personality-wise, Ravi had always been a quiet child. He believed words held power and that one should be wise when using them. That and the fact that he was still trying to perfect his English caused him to be an easy target among bullies. It seemed to be an easy way for the big, dumb, brutes to build their self-esteem. With the sorrow of saying goodbye to his biological family mixed with his inability to fit in, Ravi began to lose all hope toward his new future in America. As a way to have an outlet for the constant onslaught of negativity, Ravi would frequently write poems and short stories as a way to channel his anger. Out of all the subjects he had studied, he was most fascinated with English. Probably because he saw mastering it as a way to master communication.

Ravi moved to Seattle Washington to sign with a publisher and begin his career. His days were filled with book signings, tours, writing, story boards… Over time he became a very well known and successful author. In an effort to escape the busy life he created, he decided to look into relocating so that he was out of the public eye. While driving through Arizona, Ravi came across the creepy town of Coalfell. He accidentally ran over a sharp object thus getting a flat tire. While waiting for his car to be repaired, he decided to check out the town and see what it had to offer as far as a possible new home. He currently resides at the Motel Cadillac while contemplating his new situation.
