Laura-May's eyes darted open as she heard light voices. She didn't quite register anything except for the fact that her bed was unusually hard and cold. She shut her eyes. "There's this thing called sleep, and it's great to do so if you could all just shut up." And that's when she realized she was not in her bed, she wasn't even in her room. This room was white. Spotless and pristine. Nothing like her dark room covered in photographs. "Where the heck am I?" She shot up, standing to her feet, but somehow tripped over her own feet and landed smack on her face. She moaned before rolling onto her back.
