Academy

The classroom of anxious Genin was loud and filled with childish chatter like any other classroom would. Each Genin had their own emotions and driving ambitions which helped them come this far so tensions were quite high. Would you be on a good squad? Would you have a sucky Sensei? Will you're closest friend be on your squad? Those questions ran through the minds of several of the students as they sat in the classroom waiting to hear their teams. Unfortunately all they could do is wait as their Instructor stood in front of the room looking through various folder and sheets. She would glance up once in a while to look at specific students then look back down.

This is where the RP will start. You are a newly graduated Genin who's waiting to finally be assigned to your squad for future missions. Once we have all the spots filed an everything gets sorted I will move on with e plot and you will go to your appointed Sensei who is that the training grounds specified. Take this time to write up your characters thought, or show some pre-established relationships. This optional, but however this moment will probably be a key factor in your character development in the RP.

Takeo-Senseo

The bustling city of Konoha would be lively and active as children could be seeing chasing each other, and adults would be seen socializing around the village's various locations. Takeo would be the most recognizable out of the midst, sporting his signature goggles always pushed up to wrap around his forehead, as well as brown dusty clothes that leave you questioning if that was the clothing's original color. He would along the village's path leading to the training grounds.

Today was the day he would meet his squad for the first time. It was all still shocking to Takeo though. He could easily remember the older days when he was mere inexperienced Genin. He would winch at the thought of it. The Jounin would pause for a moment after hearing a recognizable voice.

"Slow down, Idiot."

Hideo Moto, an old squad member of Takeo. The two had a bitter rivalry which got less intense as the two grew up. The main conflict coming from Hideo's incredibly rude personality as well as the two looking so similar that they be mistaken for twins.

"Those slow ass Genin won't be here until at least noon."

"I just wanna take it all in."

"Whatever. My Team will probably puss out after they hear my name."

"Yeah, yeah..." Takeo would say walking faster hoping Hideo would leave him alone.

Takeo would finally arrive to training ground, he specified to the academy teacher to include. The training grounds Takeo chose was much in his favor. One side laid a large hill which descended on a steep slope. Another side a large abundance of thick forests which stretched for miles. Along the hill there was also a small waterfall which flowed it waters into a moderately large lake which took up a fair amount of the training grounds itself. The heavy mix of nature gave Takeo a euphoric feeling. He would breath in deeply and exhale while relaxing on a nearby tree stump.

"This place is perfect..." He would say as the cool wind blew across his face and hair. He would look glance up at the sky in a seated position before slouching down so that he laid on the tree stump in a lazy-boy type position.

"I should have some time to spare before they get here." he would shut his eyes, instantly falling into a heavy deep sleep.

I want some of the plot to be focused on the Genin's squad development, basic events like going on missions, Chunin exams. Other then that the base of he story is centered around a mysterious villain that you'll later meet if things go as planned.

Personal Information:

Personality: Takeo first impression-wise comes off as a weirdly forced trying to be cool surfer. Most of time his body language emits his lazy, chilled attitude and he can be a bit of a joker at the wrong times. During intense moments, he knows when to get serious. His eye giving off the same dull look but with more purpose and drive. He is overall harmless when it comes to being mean and is usually apologetic if he thinks hes accidentally wronged you. Socially he either talks too much, or says too little. This can be annoying at times, especially when he goes on about things you generally don't care for. As a Jounin, Takeo teaching methods are straight-forward. A 'Do this or don't come back' attitude describes him when it comes to training, having been raised the same way.

History: Growing up Takeo never really understood much of the world. He didn't even know what a mom was. Being raised by only his dad the boy grew up very strictly. His whole centered around him becoming a ninja. His skill in the academy was questionable at best. Many teachers saw him as unskilled and his grades only strengthened the assumption. For whatever, after barely graduating he academy he vowed to straighten his act and become a better ninja through the means of dedication.

Once a chunin, his drive to become better only improved with his skill in Earth style jutsu only improving and later becoming his strong point.

Weakness: Extremely powerful yet draining. The blast radius is so big Takeo gets caught in it it as well.

Personal Information:

Personality: Extremely rude and insensitive when it come to others. Hideo can basically be described as to have the personality cynical old man. Oddly enough he shows a nicer side if you manage to make him laugh, most of time involving that person messing up or getting hurt. His nicer side is still equally as cynical but he'll crank a few jokes and smile once in a while. Though he may be rude to friends and others, he is generally polite to important people, even though he still says things passive aggressively.

History: Hideo as an academy student was always very skilled and was looked at highly among his instructors. Sadly he had an attitude which in many cases dispersed their positive thoughts on him. After graduating the Academy, he was assigned to a team with his friend/past-rival Takeo. Though Hideo out-classed Takeo in many ways, Hideo was still always looked at as below Takeo many because of the compatibility many had with Takeo. Once chunin, Hideo would grow more and more as a ninja, perfecting his Ninjutsu skills more and more as the days passed.

Weakness: Needs precise chakra control and uses large amounts per blast. The delay also leaves the user vulnerable as the user will not be able to move unless they want to break the jutsu.

Weakness: If sent throughout body it can cause dehydration and death if used recklessly. If used in specific areas without precise chakra control it can bring spontaneous combustion to the user's involved body part.

After the Foruth Shinobi world war, the village of Konohagakure would proceed into a revolution as technological advances would change the many lives of ninja. The village overall would also return to its old self. Hosting the renowned Chūnin exams, making strong allies with various villages, aswell as bring in a steady amount of missions for many of the village's talented ninjas. Although everything may seem well on the surface, reports have came in of strange sightings and disappearances all through the various villages. Fear as risen among the land and Kages have taken notice. In preparation, Genin have been picked and trained as readiness for the worst to come. As with the new technological advances that have surfaced the new generation of Genin is expected to be a colorful one.

Welcome to Naruto: Shinobu Ribon, a naruto-based roleplay. This is a little different then your average Naruto RP however. Unlike many that take place within the periods of the main series, this takes place in an alternate universe after the Foruth Shinobi World war. Much of the canon in this RP will not be present though (mainly to influence creativity and character development). You will be playing a newly graduated Genin from the academy waiting to be recruited for your team. When it comes to your characters, like I said before, refrain from using canon clans as well as references to them. Also with this being based around the time-period of post-war, feel free to include technology or other advances that are reasonable (we have buldings and cell phones now.)

Unlike many Naruto RP's in the past, I'm hoping this one will last. This being a very fast-paced RP, I expect everyone who joins to keep a minimum post count of one posts every 1-2 days. If you fail to meet this requirement the plot will move on without you and/or you will be kicked out and replaced (which I don't want to have because then things get waaayyyy confusing.) Rules

1: All RPGuild Rules apply.

2: Make only a Genin: Being the GM, I will be a Jōnin in reasons because of plot and I also being the main plot device driver. I will try and be active as much as possible and maintain the RP. Other then that, there will always be character progression. Preferably Genin to Chunin.

3: If you have a problem with someone's ideas come to me. Refrain from starting arguments.

4: Don't be OP. I'm all up for having a kick-ass character but don't make them a genius that never makes mistakes. Remember these are children. Remember to put 'believe it!' in your CS so I know you read the rules

5: Be active. I cannot stress this enough, but please try and be active as possible. I would really love to see each member push out at least 1-2 posts a day but I know people can be busy. Either way please remember the post minimum of: 1 post every 1-2 days.

Skill point Info

Skill points are in place to cause as little conflict in the case of combat disagreements, and t also help limit characters but also show their strengths. If you are a 2 in strength, you probably can't knock someone out with one punch, but if you're stamina is an 8 you can probably run a marathon quite easily. Remember to keep your Skill tree in mind when creating post involving combat or training. I trust that people will be able to effectively use it and not abuse the system. Skill points given will change over time with character progression. Effective training with a given Sensei will likely reward you +1 or +2 points. But keep in mind I won't give you points just for doing 10 push ups.
