History/bio:
Born in Hue Vietnam, Anya's family was part of a small dragon community and was fairly well respected. They made their living over the past centuries, selling their blood. And while it is regarded as the most deadly poison in the world, over the past century dragons have figured out how to turn it into a drug using other ingredients as well. This gave rise to the dragons having a hold on drug trade. Anya believes in finding a way to make dragon's blood benefit people health wise and not just used to get a high or kill, but to the other dragons, it's all about money.
Now trying to make a name for themselves, Anya followed her sister to a small town in Vermont and together they opened up a bar, "The Tipsy Dragon". Little did Anya know, is that her sister Amari was using this as a front for her drug business. And though Anya doesn't agree with her methods, she helps run the tavern, learning to bartend and hosting karaoke night on Fridays. While not at the Tipsy Dragon, Anya spends her time hanging with the locals or at Gringore experimenting with her own design for DB.
At Gringore, she is studying mainly potions and dragonology with other classes on the side.

Axel strides into the pub, walking along his own beat. Artic Monkeys was performing in small side Appleford and the only way he knew was the radio station he worked at was hyping it up. Axel wasn't that into indie music, especially from a band that looked like they walked straight out of the 1950s. But he didn't have any other plans that night except glaze past overdue essays.

Like any other small town youngster with too much to vent but nowhere to scream, Axel produced his fake ID when the bartender eyed him upon his request for a PBR. Nevertheless it wasn't much longer until the cold mouth of the bottle pressed against his. He was at an earshot when he heard the mention of some people forming a band. This grabbed his attention since all he's been doing in this town was failing college and disgracing Taylor Swift over the soundwaves. He wasn't much for socializing but listened in on the conversation much to his amusement.

Description: Soft-spoken but "loud-minded". Axel is a thrill-seeker and an opportunists. His words are spoken through beats and rhythm and believes that actions speak louder than words. He doesn't mind trouble as long as it benefits him in the end. All of this can make him come off rude to others, but Axel has good intentions at heart. He's also not afraid to stand up for others and can do a complete 180 on his "soft-spoken" nature when it comes to that.

Brief Backstory: Born in San Francisco, California to South-Korean immigrants. Since his parents worked long hours, Axel spent his time at either internet cafés or working a part-time at the record store. He grew to love rap, taking notes from Notorious B.I.G and Eminem. The pasty Korean kid however, could never fit in to the music scene in California. So he decides to move away in hopes to build up a name. He sets his eyes on Washington, and while he's there to major in computer science, by night he works as a small part-time radio DJ for the local station. He identifies as gay but is still in the closet due to close-minded family.

Bio: Mirela grew up in a magic sanctioned town to a strict prestigious family. With a Korean mom and an English father, her family was a mix of two different types of magic: Manipulation and Ocular magic. Mirela inherited manipulation magic from her father. She also had an older sister and a younger brother. One of the main figures of the town is Mirela’s maternal grandfather, who also has a good amount of influence in magic society in general. When she turned 21, she would learn of the ideals her family carried that she herself did not agree with. This caused her to run away, afraid to get caught up. While running to a city where magic users live amongst the humans, Mirela discovers within herself the passive abilities of ocular magic, an ability she thought was passed up from her.

Personality: Since moving to the city, Mirela has been trying to keep it on the down low but when it comes to helping others or finding the truth to things, she doesn’t hesitate to jump in. This of course lands her in all kinds of misunderstandings and trouble. However, Mirela is resourceful and quick on her feet. She is still fiercely competitive, but tones it down when it comes to actual magic. She resents people who shows off with magic and rather, wants to be more dependent on non-magic skills. She hates people viewing her as weak or helpless and strives to prove herself no matter the situation. She's open minded and speaks whatever comes across her mind, except when it's about her past which she does best to navigate around the topic.
