Current Binged Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and fell in love. Was skeptical at first since it was by the same people who produced Riverdale but I was not disappointed.

Anya interacting with: @vietmyke

Anya turns around, expecting to chew out one of the Fitzroy or Frat boys for even glancing at her. Instead she finds Tony, as per usual finding a way to her nerves. She couldn't help but crack a smile when he extended his cup of coffee out to her. She gladly took the cup into her hands and took a big sip before handing it back.

"When I told my sister I wanted a new bag for school, I was thinking maybe Jansport... not these." Anya joked as she pats the bags underneath her eyes. She best be careful not to run into any of the Taipan sisters. Who knows what they have to say about her current appearance. When Anya first came to Gringore, Kimbra befriended her since they both were cold-blooded. That quickly turned however, when Anya found out that the Taipan sisters only were nice to her just to get free drinks at the Tipsy Dragon. Besides her sister, she finally found more 'snakes' that were cold-blooded inside and out.

"How goes your training? Getting your ass kicked by anyone lately?" She teased at Tony.
When Anya first met Tony through the wonders of karaoke night, she hadn't a clue of his desire to become a Guardian. It was when Tony started being a regular at karaoke night did they become friends. Which makes her feel even more guilty to hide the fact that Amari is running a drug ring in this town.
Mirela held back a smile as Gosia approached the fortune cat. It was interesting to see a non-magic human being superstitious.
The magic charm that took form in the fortune cat was actually a signal barrier that when is set up in a room, will let the owner know if that being had ties to magic. It's only a low-level charm, so an extremely highly skilled magic user can still hide their presence. So when Gosia had stepped into the room, Mirela had already known that Gosia was just a normal human.

"Oh... do you normally believe in those types of things?" Mirela asked, just to get a feel on what type of person Gosia might be (aka how superstitious she is).
Kana shoots a look at the other student who made a comment about her last name.
"What's that suppose to even mean?"

Never the less Kana lets it slide. Much to her own values, there was already enough drama to be dealt with this morning.
As introductions dragged on, Kana couldn't help but be drowned into her own thoughts. What will Uesugi be able to offer her that her old school didn't already? If she talked to her parents maybe they'd let her go back to Kyoto and study there.

Will she make friends here that can be as close to her as the ones back home? As these thoughts race through her mind, Kana found herself not paying attention to any of the other introductions and mentally scolded herself for being a hypocrite.
Standing at the doorway, Gosia looked something that walked out of Woodstock. As she looks around Mirela's room, there wasn't much to look at.
Since she's been on the run she only was able to bring few possessions with her. Clothes, necessities, anything minimal and can fit into two bags at the most.
The only things beside that were her favorite books that she had brought from The Commons and a small magic charm disguised as a small fortune cat.
"Hi there I'm Mirela. I'm from... the U.S."

Mirela walks through the house with Sonja, getting a tour and an introduction to most of the faces living in the building with her. When it was informed that her room was on the third floor, she couldn't help but internally groan. She could think of a dozen ways to get up all those stairs using magic. Of course, this wasn't an option. Mirela had to do things without using magic now. It would take time getting used to but in the end, Mirela was happy for it. Upon settling in, Mirela had left the door open for anyone to converse themselves with her. She stares at the door opposite from her room and wonders what the person living there would be like.
Anya Ngo

Anya had woken up at the buttcrack of dawn. Between last call at the bar and having to help out with orientation at Gringore, sleep was never an option for her. Despite that, Anya is still excited to see new faces at the academy. It was just only in the last year did Anya and her sister Amari move to Nowhere. In that time, the Ngo sisters had a bit of a reputation for themselves. For starters, they opened up a trendy bar in town called the "Tipsy Dragon".

Anya wants to say that the place is popular for her killer drinks and karaoke nights she hosts. Unfortunately beneath all of the glamor is the business Amari truely wants to run. For the past century or so, there's been a rise in demand for dragon's blood after a few of them learned how to make a hard drug out of it; Zauberblut is the official name for it with DB being the street name.

At the beginning the drug was nearly just as deadly as injecting pure dragon's blood into you. The only difference is, Zauberblut gave you that insane high and rush. But now with improvements and trials, the process of it now, when done correctly- is as 'safe' as it will ever get. Now Amari herself has entered into the trade, starting out in the town of Nowhere; a place where DB hasn't fully hit the streets just yet.

Amari had guilt tripped convinced Anya to come along since she needed all the help she could get. By "help", Amari meant for Anya to run the front of the business while she ran the back.

Flashfoward to today, by evidence of Anya's bags beneath her eyes, things were going smoothly. As orientation came to an end, Anya still had to stick around and answer any questions (that had already been answered) from students (who were not paying attention the first time around). She looks around at the lively scene and wonders if any of her friends were also here, or anyone she knows for that matter of fact.

It was then orange flyers fluttered down on them. Anya manages to reach out and snag one, seeing that it detailed a costume party at The Shack. All she could think of is that if Amari got a whiff of this, she'd make Anya and a few of her guys go just to sell some DB to the supernatural youths of Nowhere. A small wrinkle formed at the base of her forehead as she let the paper fall to the ground.

Anya sighs and walks away, she wonders if she'd ever have time to get in on the social scene a lot more, join some clubs even. For now, karaoke night was about as much fun as she could get in this town.
Maybe we could have a half demon/ half human student who's trying to be good but gets hunted by his/her demon family, thus exposing themselves to Mirela?

Maybe a witch can come later? Hmm, in the Netherlands the first week of college and university is introduction week where the different student groups introduce new students to the student life and the city. There's games, partying, drinking and having fun. Perhaps this witch could come in after introduction week, when classes actually start. We'll have a better story setting develloped then so we can work out what she wants then. Or would you rather have the tension from the start?

I think it would be most fun if the person living on the top floor with Mirela (I think it's a girl) would be non-magical.. Maybe she can knock on the door at the least appropriate times, or she forgets the shut door polcy and just walks in.kind of a comic relief character to keep Mirela on her toes.

Rachel is quite short and has long brown hair and an average face that just blends in. She has soft features, barely wears make-up. She is the lead actress in the theatre she showed the playbill from. She is a nice person, always willing to help people, always wanting to see the best in people but that can make her a little naïve as well. I'll add more description as you meet the people.

Another plot idea: Perhaps something has gone wrong and Mirela's student pass isn't working. They send het to the IT department, (of course it's later in the evening) where she meets my non-magical IT character being hunted by a demon?

I think the non-mag comic relief would be great. As for plot I could definetely have Mirela's student pass or wifi not working and meet the IT character. That should move things quite nicely. As for the character that can be suspicious towards Mirela it would actually be better for them to be a witch hunter/makes more sense.
Before I write the next post I was thinking we can plan out who is living in the apartments that are not a non-magic.
I think the concept of a demon as one of the residents would be fun, like a friendly demon? Mirela can befriend them and get some help on why the demon earlier attacked her.
I was also thinking to have another witch in the apartments that will grow suspicious of Mirela and is kind of like a rival/trying to figure out what she's doing in the city.

And did you have some face claims for some of the main characters besides Mirela?
Mirela thanked Rachel as they reached the building, and pressed the general doorbell to be let in.
"Thank you for saving my life back there. Let me know if there's any way I can repay you." She set down her bags and extended a hand out for her to shake.
"I'll definetely hit that theater up for the show soon, see you around?" She asked with a hint of uncertainty. She didn't know anyone in the city, hopefully the woman that saved her would be willing to keep in touch.
"Okay, I guess it's worth a shot." Mirela nodded, mentally adding a note to stop by the bar sometime soon.
When Rachel mentioned that her apartment was just a few blocks more Mirela's hands tugged tighter on her luggage. She knew she was going to be sharing the room with another student. Most likely they would be non-magic so Mirela would have to be extra careful even around private quarters.
She did not want to solely rely on her magic since she has seen firsthand how dependent it can make people. Living with a non-magic roommate would be a good chance for her to practice other skills.
