As the cruiser pulls up Felix's ears perk a little as he hears that valuable piece of information, or as he would label it in one of his books, a link to a new character. The whole argument and shouting match the two cops were having was making Felix smile anyways, but he didn't expect such "Professionals" to let slip such a piece of information. A shrink? He knew that meant one of a few things. Either the cops partner was going to see one and maybe it was just he was late to her appointment causing the cop to be late. Or perhaps there was a shrink involved in this string of murders. Then it hit him with a thundering smack.

What if this was something to do with a shrink for the lately dead Danicia? Perhaps if he could just find this shrink, he'd be able to find more about the psyche of Danicia and maybe how she died? Wouldn't that be amazing, if he solved it before the police? If he did that he'd be on a roll to making his new novel a smash hit. He smirked as the headlines appeared in his mind. "Author tells story of crime he solved in new hit book" "International record breaker tells of dangerous crimes in Justice City". He rubbed his hands together and sat down on the steps still, taking his phone out.

He flicked on his 4G and got to work opening up chrome, searching up as quick as he could. "Shrinks in Justice City" and waited for the results to load.

Felix looked the cop up and down with a slightly cocky inquisitive look. He looked quietly confident and very proud of himself, having just accomplished his first successful bribe in the land of opportunity. It was laughable how easy it was to already bribe the cops, without anyone even asking for Id or his background. He found it exciting, rivetting, delightful and above all. Intriguing. Felix always felt intrigue overtake him and in this moment, he found himself consumed and ready to follow every leads he would get so he could portray every little scene with precise accuracy. It would make for a brilliant book, the novel would be awe aspiring.

Then it began drawing itself in his mind. The whole story writing itself word by word as he focussed hard on it. How interesting...how outstanding. The sisters...some sort of conspiracy that both sisters would commit suicide and somehow be put in the axact same flat? Perhaps...the second was trying to investigate the murder or supposed suicide directly. But now...the weapon was missing. Broken in and taken. How very very...exciting.

He let out a slight sigh and patted his legs with a warm grateful look. "What a revelation...don't fear, I'll keep this on the down low, try not to meedle in with too much, all this just sounds very very suspicious.."

Cursing under his breath he watched the officer retreat from him and quickly pocketted the 20 withdrawing a sigh from Felix's lips. He was hoping he'd be able to pass that one off easily. He pulled a sour face as he realised he was already being played as a vu8lnerable foreigner by this common cop here, havign his money explouted and his seemingly lacking knowledge of this town being used to the others advantage. He narrowed his eyes, desperately trying to think of a method to turn the tables back in his favour but it seemed like going to the ATM was the only safe course of action.

He rolleed his eyes and gave the officer a sort of absent wave as he made his way out of the barricades and down the road to the ATM, sighing the whole time, convinced to get some sort of tip or clue to the goings on down here. Itw as always interestong to throw an investigator type in to help heighten the tension...and thus he needed thpse detective notes to know what sort of case he had taken under his wing.

$30...$40...$50, there that has to at least satisfy him for a bit" he muttered as she flipped through his lney double checking they were legal tender.
Will be posting tomorrow, post halfway finished, too tired to finish it though

Well wasn't this going smooth. Internally, he cursed as he listened to the cop, watching his fingers rub together as a direct indication that he would have to pay up. There went the idea he was gonna get information for free. He wrinkled his nose and reached into his pocket, fishing around for his wallet. Was this really wise? There were so many cops roaming around freely, probably some journalists observing the coversation between the two as well. This seemed to be the only method, so here went nothing. Within his wallet he counted up his money and rolled his eyes.

Maybe buying so much from customs was a bad idea. He looked around and back to the cop, taking out $20 and looking at it in his hand like it was mesmerising him. It seemed he'd really have to be smooth and kind to the cop. Back in berlin, cops and himself didn't get on so well, maybe this police station would get on better with Felix than he had hoped. He slipped the 20 to the man and smirked a little, slight cockiness and sincerity on his face.

"Hope your girl enjoys roller derby, never been a fan myself, too much sliding and bashing. Now I'm hoping my small donation can be of help y'know? Always good to watch roller derby, it's an interesting sport if I'm not partaking"

Posting tonight, just recovering from a few Cons

Great so this was where things was gonna get interesting. SO off the bat, it appeared officers were under orders to systematically say, it was suicide? Not murder? Huh, how suspicious. Not really suspicious, it was obvious they didn't want to cause controversy, and the best way was to keep saying it was a suicide. Now for Felix, he wasn't sure whether to question the guy futher or to take the heat off. He saw some commotion of other people enterring the block and got closer to the cop he had become acquainted with. Well, he seemed willing to talk, hopefuly for longer than they had already shared.

He quicly went over and handed the cop his number, smirking. "You seem busy, maybe I can ehar more about these little suicides later? Just wanna make sure there's no crazy drugs going around my block that make me wanna shoot my brains out or...drown myself in a fountain?" He was trying not to be an asshole, but it came naturaly. He waved him off as he started to see the press move in. he turned to see some idiot in a plaid shirt sneak past, accompanied by people he presumed were related to his new lovely abode.

he turned back to the cop, looked around at the press and grinned to the cop again. "So tell me, anything besides the sister conspiracy yet? I am very intrigued!"

Interesting. Interesting of such a bustling place that one lone figure would take the time out of his busy day to approach Felix. He stood there with an interested smile as he observed the man stepping towards him and cheerfully let out a hand to shake the others. Felix, and yes of course, just arrived this very minute!" He seemed happy enough to ineract with the cop, trying to show good faith in the law and order in this city even though he had heard many horror stories of their blunders, hence why he was currently present.

After the kind-hearted shake and the exchange of small talk which made his stomach grumble, Felix realised the ample opporunity the universe had just presented to him on a silver platter. His fingers ran through his hair casually as he waited for the cop to be ready to discuss things without being smacked in the face automatically which happened a lot with the cops in berlin. For some reason they were never this chatty. More than once Felix found himself being cursed from a crime scene or a police station or with his nose being bashed by the butt of a gun.

And here he was scared of the police in America. Scared he was going to be treated like a rat from another country was the last thing on his mind now as he watched the cop talk before nodding enthusiastically and decided to make his move. "So officer it came to my attention from the news but...have you caught the murderer yet? I've been hearing about it all the way here, it sounds awefully nerve wracking so I was wondering...anything left around, clues as such, my apologies I'm hardly experienced in these things, just looking for the facts is all!" He tried to tone down his accent for talking to this guy, didn't want any conflict arising because of his nationality.

As he awaited the man's reply he slipped his notebook further into his pocket, preparing his brain for keeping everything the cop said here inside. If he learned anything, it would be useful, even if it was lies. It would let him have a feel for the atmosphere he'd write about, and everyone loved a corrupt and dangerous cop story didn't they? Or perhaps that was only Felix.
