Sorry for delay, will have post up tonight

As the phone came down to him, he made a relieved sigh. At least he had that almost at arms reach, in case anything bad were to happen. He was about to open his mouth, get in a few more nice words to the doctor when she was already making her way away from his room through the doors. A sigh escaped his lips as he blinked a few times. At least she had cleared up some of his confusion at the very least, that did help out his dazed and pained state.

He let the phone go for a moment as he ate his food, savouring what he could, worry and fear running through his brain. After he made the phone call, he'd be a target, somebody could easily have wired the phone. If he made the call...he'd be signing his own warrant he presumed. He ate the food in preparation for a climax, if things got interesting and hectic he didn't want to be doing it all on an empty stomach now did he?

He wiped his mouth with a hand, clenching his teeth as his head seared. With a grunt he picked up the phone and dialed the number for the local police station, pressing call.

The chuckle that emanated from the doctor sent a sense of annoyance through Felix. Before she even started talking he knew it was essentially gonna be him in this room for a month, he just wished he would recover quickly. It was useless being stuck in here, without any of his posessions or anything. The only proper discussion he'd had was with this doctor, the other visitors were grumpy or didn't say a word and just got on with business.

"A month heh, at least I've got TV I guess" he let out a little laugh but obviously was annoyed, biting his tongue afterwards, vageuly annoyed at himself and the hospital. He felt so vulnerable right now. If he could just get a call to Tinder or even to Riley maybe he'd be able to do something.

"Thank you for the treatment Doctor, ah yes, I believe...Riley? Riley Ridgeway I believe accompanied me to the hospital,
nobody else I can recall. I'd be thrilled if anyone can locate my possessions, in the meantime thank you for the time doctor! Nothing better than a small conversation to get my spirit going again, lonlieness in this room, begins to creep ja?"

Felix groaned. This long explanation about the memory loss was taking up time and he'd obviously convinced her, so faking a groan would be good. He rubbed his forehead as he thought about what he was supposed to do now. Weakness had conquered him and he had to learn to deal with it quickly. He would likely not be able to see out of one eye for months now, transplants usually took a while, even over in Germany. Chances are the waiting list would be worse here so he knew he'd have to get comfortable with it if he wanted to survive.

"Ah no nO! Detail isn't required" he said with a small laugh as he positioned himself again, moving himself to face her again, flashing her a forced if pained grin as he tried to remain calm and focused in the situation. "You wouldn't happen to know, when I'll be able to go back to my apartment? or at least have my personal belongings, I haven't seen them here and it would help me if I had my phone so I can text my friends, let them know I am alright haha"

he laughed again and looked around. He really hoped everything would be okay, some more pain meds would be a good starting point but he had to focus on getting back to his apartment.

Relief was a virtue as she talked calmly to him, a voice that reassured him that death wasn't kncoking at his door. As much as he wished to inquire as to the whereabouts of his belonginGS, he realised he would be better to wait a little longer before bringing that up. Maybe after standard procendure was over and he was considered in control of his mind. "Oh no do not worry, I'm just glad the other patient was seen to instead of me" he replied with a weak smile, the accent turned up a notch.

He could almost place the face. His mind was all over the place though so everything was foggy. Could it be the asylum? Or the Derby? He was sure it was one of those places for sure. His mind, like his head, throbbed and caused Felix pain. All he had to do was survive his time in hospital and he could get out and make progress.

"Side effects? None I can think of, my memory is bashed up though, I can barely remember arriving here in America!" A lie, but he was hoping the amount of shock and trauma would be enough for his memory to have been impaired a little. He was still convinced he was bugged, he wanted the guy who had attacked him before to think, he'd forgotten it all. "The pain killers are wearing off a little yes, I've eaten what's been given, not the best I must say" He observed her stationary poses with a quizzical eye. "No internal hurting either"

Felix's head went up as the silence was rudely interrupted by the return of sound to his isolation chamber. The noise was made by the slight shifting of a door opening to reveal a woman who looked far more approachable and welcoming than his previous nurse, and looked to be of Asian descent. He chuckled in his head, a few little fantasies running around in his head. He shook his head slightly, causing a little pain as he looked up at her and the other nurse.

It appeared there'd been some sort of mishap in the hospital, one Felix quickly decided wasn;t any of his business. When he asked about something like that, Mr March would come knocking again. Right now the last thing he needed was that scruffy asshole bursting down the door with a crowbar in hand. If a killer like that enterred he was fucked, he knew that. The tubes and the rising pain helped reassure him he was helpless.

With the tray in hand he gave a weak smile to Dr Chang, a woman who seemed lovely compared to his last carer, a phrase he hated to even think. "Thank you for taking time to see me Dr Chang" he said with a slight hiss of pain with the last syllable. "I hope i'm not interrupting too serious of matters, you already know, but my name is Felix Hausten, a pleasure"

irritation and slight panic was in his system now when he realised his own mistake, expecting the staff to be patient with him and not see him as being rude or insane. He knew in an instant that this woman was beyond the point of listening to reason because as his irritation rose he knew hers had too, getting called in by some foreign patient who was in hospital under suspicious circumstances and showing annoying tendencies. He was out of luck.

Then, the whole atmosphere changed. The electronic voice broke into the nurse's rant at him about his ignorance and idiocy, and she was gone without a word. It was scary. That woman was cold as ice and had zero patience, why on earth would such a code call for her to get out of there with such haste. He bit down on his lip gently before grabbing a handful of food viciously and jamming it into his mouth. With silence came fear and with fear came desperation. Dying in a hospital room defenesless and hurt wasn't how he intended for this to end. Well technically it was, but not murder, which seemed to be on the cards.

He grabbed the tray with his left hand and gripped it, his only weapon as he lay there. he tried moving against the tubing, but it just caused discomfort. He gritted his teeth, awaiting the end of the silence and any sudden noises.

The disgruntled woman was back and with that his spirits slightly rose. It meant they hadn't forgotten about him for now which meant, he wasn't completely vulnerable. He did a quick scan of him with a furrow of his brow like he was getting blinded by the light from the room. She seemed so unwelcoming, there was something soothing about that. Nobody trying to blend in in order to assassinate a target would be so obviously out of character, anyone else would be all nice and sweeter than sugar. This woman was definetely not someone here to kill him, but at this point even nice smiling girls could be killers.

"Oh sorry, I didn't realise I interrupted you, I just need to ask, can i get a phone call? There's someone I need to talk to,
i'd appreciate it if you could give me a hand"
He toned up the german accent in hopes she'd take pity on the damaged foreigner, it was a cheap ploy but he had to make it work. He clenched his teeth, his face tensing up as pain began to run through his nervous system again. God he needed some more pain killers. He just needed to get a hold of someone like Marc, so he'd call the police station, he'd memorised the number after the attack after the restaurant.

The silence was getting to him. The sound of the TV static was grating on his eardrums like a knife on a chalk board, the sound never stopping just always existing, the only thing there to remind him he could still hear. Tubes that connected him to the machines were still intact and he stopped himself from moving too much in case he disconnected them or damaged them, his own sanity hurt even more. He had called out to what he had hoped would be salvation. And no one answered.

A sigh escaped his lips as he winced, clenching his fists a little as pain hit him a little, a feeling of dull pain resonating from his eye. Obviously the Meds were wearing off, but he didn't know if coping with the pain was part of recovery or if he would have to call for help again. He looked around the room, the lack of anything interesting hitting him again with a feeling of dissatisfaction. He gritted his teeth. He had to get someone here, he needed the pain to go away right now, hell he needed out for hospital so he wasn't useless like always.

So it was already that time. It felt like the minutes were melting away, but at the same time it was like the minutes were dragging on. The state he was in was hard to describe, it felt like it was mere minutes ago when he had awoken and now it was already lunch, but along with it he felt bored out of his mind. All he could do right now, was write. It was what he was good at but at the same time, irony kicked in, leaving this the only thing he could do at the moment. Phoning Riley or Marc would've been a godsend, he needed to see someone. This feeling of isolation and vulnerability was getting to him. The fear that anyone could walk through that door with a gun and end his life with a second, it sent chills through his body.

As the man delivered the tray and then went to walk off, Felix let out the beginnings of a sentence, but the door had already swung closed before he had the chance. He reached up and a hand down his face, letting out a sigh as his fingers ran over his skin and tubes that went around his face. He looked to the Tv that had done nothing but spew static at him and he sighed again. He looked to the solid food and prodded it with his finger slightly. Would he eat it? he wasn't sure yet.

Where was everyone? Where had his TV stream gone, everything felt like the world outside was closing down and leaving Felix alone in this room. And it'd barely been more than 4 hours. Of course if he was in danger, the food might be poisoned. Might be the case that the room was bugged too. A smirk slowly appeared on his face. Finally something to have fun with for a few seconds. "If this room is bugged, don't be a stranger, I would love to talk"
