I don't know how, but SOMEhow, my cat managed to trick me into thinking I'm the worst. She wakes me up at 3am and places a live cockroach besides my face and I'm feeling guilty for being mad.

When I think I finally locked my cat out of my bedroom she finds a way in AGAIN to eat all the computer wires.

I LOVE THAT FUCKING SONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I love it too! I love how they play with the words!
Heights, the dark, crowds, being alone. Yes, I know the last two are contradictory.

I fear sleep paralysis too. And the dark.

But trypophobia is THE WORSE (for me). I don't actually fear it, I'm deeply disturbed by it. Whenever I see one of those images that triggers trypophobia I get this weird and terrible feeling of discomfort. Just the thought of it makes me sick. Those images never leave my mind once I see them.
@Scar Haha yup ^-^ Pretty much anything by Paramore is amazing to be honest. New and old! (Looking forward to album 5 they're writing and recording for)

I know, right? And (straying from the lyrics) those guitar shreds? I mean not stuff everyone notices as much I suppose but being a guitarist it's something I do XD

Me too!

I don't play guitar so I don't really know how hard it is to do it, but it sounds awesome nonetheless. Besides, Lzzy's vocals are incredible too. She has a great range.

You guys are overwhelming me. It's a lot of work to format these and attach the song. RIP me.

Sorry, Cynder, promise I will take a few days before posting any lyrics for you again... After this.

Remembered this song today XD

No Good in Goodbye - The Script

Where's the "good" in "goodbye"?
Where's the "nice" in "nice try"?
Where's the "us" in "trust gone"?
Where's the "soul" in "soldier on"?

[...]

When I see you in the street
I pray to God you don't see
The silent "hell" in "I wish you well"
*walks in quietly*

Well, I used to play clarinet when I was younger, but I don't anymore (it's been a long time since I last played). But I liked it very much! I'm afraid I don't have any recordings, though. I like singing as well, but I'm not very good at it. Still, knowing that doesn't stop me from liking it, so... XD My neighbors and parents don't share this thought, unfortunately (for them!).

@Thortimer, wow, that is awesome! I hope things work out for you over time! And the music you shared is very pleasant to listen.
Well, if you ever turn your game into a thread, you already have a player. Besides yourself, of course. I'm sure some of the others here would jump in as well. And I'll add your lyric now! I do the same when it comes to lyrics, but I write them down in the "notes" section of my iPOD. I can never be found without my iPOD and at the risk of making myself sound edgy I have to say that music is indeed my life.

Thanks, I appreciate that! I understand that feeling. I like writing it down on paper (and I don't have an iPod, although I have a note section on my mobile phone). For me, it's different seeing the lyrics in my own handwriting. Also, I like to add some flourishes sometimes and writing it down and leaving it on my desk or notebooks helps noticing connections to other songs or anything else. It also inspire me to write! Well, since I am replying I will be leaving another lyric here. I usually don't like to expose personal things, but this song was on my mind today all day since a friend of my mom's killed herself last night. Her daughter was an acquaintance of mine and I can't stop thinking how terrible Mother's Day is going to be for her. Not only this year, but for the rest of her life.

Here are the whole lyrics, but you can add just the bolded part. It's "Even My Dad Does Sometimes - Ed Sheeran".

"It's alright to cry
Even my dad does sometimes
So don't wipe your eyes
Tears remind you you're alive
It's alright to die
'Cause death's the only thing you haven't tried
Just for tonight, hold on

So live life like you're giving up
'Cause you act like you are
Go ahead and just live it up
Go on and tear me apart

It's alright to shake
Even my hand does sometimes
So inside we rage
Against the dying of the light
It's alright to say that death's the only thing you haven't tried
But just for today, hold on

So live life like you're giving up
'Cause you act like you are
Go ahead and just live it up
Go on and tear me apart, hold on
"

Also, worth pointing out that Ed made a reference to Dylan Thomas' poem "Do not go gentle into that good night".
"[...]
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
"

Edit:

@Scar Oh it definitely is! I actually have the lyrics scrawled on the inside cover of my English book. I find it a huge mood-lifter

Oh, I missed this, sorry! Me too! Well, not anymore since I don't use school books and/or notebooks anymore *sighs*. But this song is always on my mind. That whole album is incredible. I'm so grateful to Paramore for writing that song. Like I said, it's my spark, I listen to it when I'm feeling down. *stalks a little* You like Halestorm too! ^^ They have some funny songs like "You Call Me a Bitch Like It's a Bad Thing" XD, although they do have songs that don't make me laugh. They have ~amazing covers~ as well.
Methinks you should still turn your game into a thread. Do you want me to add those lyrics to the list?

Perhaps I will! I will certainly consider this during the following days. And yes, I'd like if you added that to the list. Whenever I find another lyrics I find interesting or that I think is worth noticing, I will come here and post it. I have tons already written down on papers, notebooks, photo captions, but I like to discover new ones as well.
I think I sort of get it? Kiiind of? I'm a bit slow today because of rain and distraction from homework, so sincerest apologies. Either way, I support this for a forum game. And don't apologize for "flooding my thread", I always welcome the conversation and an opportunity to meet/befriend new people!

That's ok, I understand! There's also no need to apologize for that. And I'm glad as I feel the same way. I stumbled upon your thread randomly, but it was a pleasant surprise. Listening right now:

Crosses - José González

"The streets outside your window overflooded
People staring, they know you've been broken"
I'm glad you liked my idea! I like to connect music with other things too, movies, series, books. It kind of adds meaning to everything, I think.

Explaining a little bit better about the idea, it could be something as simple as this:

Person 1 posts What's Up - 4 Non Blondes:

"And I take a deep breath and I get real high
And I scream from the top of my lungs
What's going on?"

Person 2 posts Torn - Natalie Imbruglia/Ednaswap:

"There's nothing where he used to lie
My inspiration has run dry
That's what's goin' on
Nothing's right I'm torn"

And so on... Or something like that connection I posted on my previous comment between Pearl Jam's song and Adam Levine's. According to a quora user, the Pearl Jam song: "[...] is about how someone was everything to another at some point of time, but now it`s just faded memories and painful dreams. How they both gave all that they had in this, but now it doesn`t even matter as it`s all over." So as the person's memories have gone bad, "tattooing everything", making him think about that everywhere he looked and feel sad, I thought about Lost Stars' "Don't you dare let our best memories bring you sorrow". Does that make sense?
And I apologize for flooding your thread. Yes, I did like your game! It's always very nice to get to know different musics with good lyrics and this is a nice way to do so.
"While the priest just sits and weeps, lamenting the fact that he can see darkness and light in so much detail, he has given himself over."

Mumford & Sons - Feel the Tide

Lord, it feels a bit wrong choosing this single line since the song talks about hope, but it's this one line that gives me hope through this song and not only the lines meant to give hope. It just reminds me to not give up on myself, whether or not I see too much details in the world.

And, @Cynder, I loved your game! Song lyrics are very important for me as well. I have a suggestion for another game, if you'd be interested: I, particularly, have the habit of collecting links between songs, even though they don't have real connections. But noticing a line in a song that answers perfectly a line in another song, or the feeling in general.

Like, the other day, a colleague send me Black - Pearl Jam:

"All the pictures have, all been washed in black,
tattooed everything...

All the love gone bad
Turned my world to black
Tattooed all I see, all that I am and all that I'll be... yeah..."

And I immediately remembered a song by Adam Levine (from Maroon 5) - Lost Stars, that goes like this:

"Don't you dare
Let our best memories bring you sorrow
Yesterday, I saw a lion kiss a deer

Turn the page
Maybe we'll find a brand new ending
When we're dancing in our tears"

So the idea for the game would be something like the above. Someone would post a piece of a lyric and someone else would post another piece of another song lyrics that sounds like a real reply. I understand if you're not interested, it's just a suggestion!

And, oh my Lord, @SouffleGirl123, Last Hope is an amazing song. That song is my spark!
Hello!

I'd be really interested in playing some sort of Slice of Life/Romance. I also like to "live" in the worlds I play in and Romance not being the main focus would be my preference. I liked a lot of your list of bad situations for two! PM me if you're interested.
