And one other thing.

Have you actually read the RP's going on in the multiverse? Because I haven't seen a single one where stats are quoted or even involved. All they do is give a benchmark for where one character stands in comparison to another, so we don't always have to ask half a dozen questions just to appropriately respond to a basic attack. For instance: Character A swings their sword with all their strength, aiming to cut off character B's head. Well... How strong is character A? In low tiers that easy enough to figure out, but in high tiers it could be almost anything. Does character B have enough strength to block A's attack? Does B's sword have enough strength to withstand the blow? Is the attack moving slow enough that character B can feasibly dodge it? If the stats in a profile have enough information to give a general guideline with which these questions can be answered, then writer B can simply write their response without having to go through a PM process first or worrying about writer A calling them on their move because of something that wasn't listed in character A's profile.

The only thing stats are for is to provide a guideline and avoid misunderstandings. They have almost no role in actual combat, apart from keeping the characters within their stated power limits (and even then they don't get mentioned IC).
For a moment, he feared he'd made the problem worse. The sphere began to expand far more rapidly as his beams struck it, and he ceased their firing almost immediately. He did not wish to cause more harm than had already been caused.

Relief flooded through him moments later though as the sphere, apparently having been overloaded by his blast, began to rapidly shrink in on itself until nothing remained. It had worked. Now he just needed to apply the same technique to the spheres that remained. His eyes fastened on one several blocks away and he began to float in that direction, but stopped when it suddenly faded from existence. That one was most definitely not his doing. Unless... Maybe each sphere was a separate entity, some part of a greater whole, and it had receded when it sensed the threat to itself. It was a plausible theory, as far as he knew of these matters. Which admittedly wasn't much.

Then the man rushed up to his left, moving at a speed that would have entirely eluded the eye of a human. Impressive. A second theory began to form in his mind as the man spoke in some language he had never heard before. He was either one of this world's police officers, or the source of the orbs that had been eating away at the city. Given the nature of his dress and weaponry and the aura of dread that rolled off of him, a hundred times stronger than what he had felt from the orbs, James could pretty easily conclude that he was the latter. No harm in being sure though. He just hoped the guy spoke English as well as whatever gibberish he was uttering now.

"Is this your doing?" He gestured to the chaos below, hoping that if the man didn't speak English it would be enough to get his point across.
Why's that LeeRoy?
He's still composed of matter and flesh, but the energy holding him together and making him tick is from the nether. If that warrants an edit then go ahead.
Just as a side note, Arkaeis won't see any electrical stimuli or nerve transmissions in James' body. He'd have to be able to see nether energy in order to see his neural impulses and such (which he might be able to, but you stated he was viewing the EM spectrum at the moment).

Something to keep in mind. :)

Hey, you're the one who walked in with a half-naked fantasy-proportioned she-elf. What did you honestly expect?
Ah, true. Though in order to reach temperatures that high he has to charge (prep) the attack. Probably at a rate of 10,000 degrees per post at high tier, and 1,000 degrees per post at intermediate. So two prep posts to fire one full-power bolt. I just wasn't sure on the prep time when first making the edits.

Point is, he can't endlessly fire off bolt after bolt of max power lightning with impunity.
And the neverending part doesn't get any hotter than 1,000 degrees for intermediate and 10,000 degrees for high. And he still has to actually hit his opponent. It's not an area attack.

A BIG no on the 60k temperature cap. Too damn spicy. I'd rather have you lower his intermediate tier maximum heat output to 3k celcius and high tier to 20k.

I'd be happy to drop it to the temperature of actual lightning, which is about 10K higher than your suggestion, and I'll drop it to 3k on the intermediate side as well.

And his strength potential is based on the theorized strength potential of carbon nanofiber synthetic muscles (200 times stronger than human muscles) so while he COULD lift 100 tons, it would be like a normal human weightlifter lifting 1,000 pounds. There's no way he could throw it any significant distance or lift something that heavy to use in combat. He'd probably only be able to lift half that with enough ease to use the object offensively (and any character that can lift 60 or more tons with ease would be stronger than him).
For future RP's, you may be able to convince James to join the Ryllans. It just depends on how you go about it and what he finds out about the faction. That won't help other storylines until his fight with Arkaeis is finished though. And I don't want to wait that long to continue with Arty... Lol.
