Hey. Khan. I think I hear an invasion fleet in the Perdo Wastes calling your name...

LeeRoy, Green, Vordak, I think I'm going to be making some edits to Arty's sheet so that he's actually a true high tier in his armor and a more even intermediate out of it. He'll probably have to actually learn how to do all the stuff he can't do right now in the actual story though. Gives him some more room for development. I'll let you guys know when I have the edits up.

I'll have to move that Waste thing along, as no one came into the Ryllan faction as promised/hoped so that wont happen after all so there's no point in waiting. I'll just have to think of a quick awkward transition.

A BIG no on the 60k temperature cap. Too damn spicy. I'd rather have you lower his intermediate tier maximum heat output to 3k celcius and high tier to 20k. The temperatures you listed are enough to melt through any armor currently found in this multiverse, given that it isn't a mile thick. Though i suspect that such temperatures would even ram Erde's earth dome down in one blast. And what makes them outright unacceptable, is also the fact that they come in the form of never-ending lightning bolts, unlike the rockets of Green's mecha, which while having equal damage output, are finite, slower, and are used by a humongous target of a character.

And you will probably have to add a turn limitation to his strength boost, and nerf it down in armor mode, to somewhere around 60-70.
EDIT: actualy, nevermind on the high tier heat. While i still insist on having intermediate heat output NO HIGHER than 5k, seeing that Green's mech boasts withstanding nuclear explosions, the core of which reaches around 100k celcius, something around 35-40k seems more than reasonable.

For future RP's, you may be able to convince James to join the Ryllans. It just depends on how you go about it and what he finds out about the faction. That won't help other storylines until his fight with Arkaeis is finished though. And I don't want to wait that long to continue with Arty... Lol.

I'd be happy to drop it to the temperature of actual lightning, which is about 10K higher than your suggestion, and I'll drop it to 3k on the intermediate side as well.

And his strength potential is based on the theorized strength potential of carbon nanofiber synthetic muscles (200 times stronger than human muscles) so while he COULD lift 100 tons, it would be like a normal human weightlifter lifting 1,000 pounds. There's no way he could throw it any significant distance or lift something that heavy to use in combat. He'd probably only be able to lift half that with enough ease to use the object offensively (and any character that can lift 60 or more tons with ease would be stronger than him).

Okay. Please list the actual "useful" potential of his strength, the weight with which he can operate freely, to avoid further confusion, and i think that will do.

As for the heat maximum, i still think that it is suspect to further debating, so lets wait for Leeroy and Green.

And the neverending part doesn't get any hotter than 1,000 degrees for intermediate and 10,000 degrees for high. And he still has to actually hit his opponent. It's not an area attack.

I meant that their overall supply is never-ending. And mind you, the heat radiation is capable of creating quite a wide killzone, ableit one less deadly than the core.

Ah, true. Though in order to reach temperatures that high he has to charge (prep) the attack. Probably at a rate of 10,000 degrees per post at high tier, and 1,000 degrees per post at intermediate. So two prep posts to fire one full-power bolt. I just wasn't sure on the prep time when first making the edits.

Point is, he can't endlessly fire off bolt after bolt of max power lightning with impunity.

Okay, im off to sleep.

Regarding Arthur: as long as his exchange of ranged attacks for strength stays under 50 tons, it gains my approval. 3-3.5k maximum on intermediate lightning heat, and 45k max with 15 base and +15 per prep for high tiers: those are the circumstances under which i approve the lightning.

Oh, right, before I actually post with Arp. I forgot to note one thing. Doesn't change much, but it's noteworthy.

The hard light constructs can be suspended in the air like platforms. I suppose they have a weight limit before they fall, but it'd likely be very high. Depending on the number of supports put up to actually hold it there, or whether its just floating in mid air.

Edit: I went ahead and did the numbers.

Hard Light Suspended Constructs: More bracers can be placed, but after 4 it becomes impractical. These can be converted into other constructs, et cetera. Each pair of braces takes one turn to create, the hovering platform itself is instantaneous.

  • Suspended Platform, no braces/fioating: (R)100 lbs - (B)250 lbs - (G)500 lbs

  • Suspended Platform, 2 braces: (R)500 lbs - (B)750 lb - (G)1,000 lbs

  • Suspended Platform, 4 braces, (R)1,000 lbs - (B)1500 lbs - (G)2,000 lbs

Speaking of changes to sheets, I'd say that Greystroke's changes are acceptable.

Just as a side note, Arkaeis won't see any electrical stimuli or nerve transmissions in James' body. He'd have to be able to see nether energy in order to see his neural impulses and such (which he might be able to, but you stated he was viewing the EM spectrum at the moment).

Something to keep in mind. :)

He also stopped viewing the EM spectrum. If all of your innards are composed of void, then he'd shift his perception back to his norm since he can normally see that with even more ease than seeing like a normal human.

Edit: Should I edit that portion?

He's still composed of matter and flesh, but the energy holding him together and making him tick is from the nether. If that warrants an edit then go ahead.

Yeah I think I'm gonna go ahead and drop Erde.

At least until Skallagrim gets back.
