I just went back to read the non-power portions of the CS, and am now wondering how he see's things with his head completely encased in metal.
Also, due to the limitations of even a peak human musculature, he won't be able to actually throw a punch at mach speed, even if that would be extremely damaging for him (which is what I meant by my statement at the top of this page).
Yes it would. But as long as his strength and actual movement speed are only peak human (or even slightly above peak human), I'm fine with the character. He's actually nearly identical power-wise to one I've had rattling around in my head for a while. Great minds think alike I guess. ;)
True, Vordak, but normal strength is much less than maximum possible strength, given that people under the effects of adrenaline can lift cars and those being shocked or having seizures can make a mess of anything they hit in their spasms. Thinker's character would just be able to reach that maximum output at will.
Though that maximum would be immensely lower than 300,000 times human strength.
I'm not sure how I feel about closing the thread. I kind of like the idea of a rolling battle (if we can keep it going) where characters die and can be replaced by new characters and so on until everyone's all charactered out. Like a testing thread for new arena characters (or old ones) that you can rejoin with a new character after your current one is defeated.
If you're not up for that though, Max, I'll probably create my own after I get my computer next week.
Well if we're using the two strikes and you're dead rule, he should have to start fresh after missing this current post, since it would be the killing blow post if he was engaged in combat. Which means he'd need to start with a new character (or the same one without prior knowledge of the combatants, since he was voided instead of killed).
