Alright, I was able to get him edited tonight (mostly). There was another ability I was going to include, but I then realized that it would be roughly the equivalent of 50 tons of TNT exploding... Just a wee bit overpowered for this fight, so I left it out. Not sure how the rest of his abilities stack up, as while his max hitting power is effectively unlimited, he has to spend time to build up energy for anything beyond 10x normal striking power (and I'm not even sure how much power that is, given his one-ton lifting strength).

No, I think it would be best to save him for a one on one. We can go full out that way and not have to worry about other fighters.
So what's the kill count at right now? Me three and LeeRoy one? And I've killed Drall twice now? Man... You're persistent dude, I'll give you that. Lol.
"Seriously dude? A bush? You're wearing a hulking suit of shiny armor and you think a bush is going to hide you?"

Speaking to Alexander with his usual sardonic nonchalance, Arty began walking a slowly tightening circle around the newcomer, taking him away from the other combatants and towards mister camo. His sword still shone brightly in his hand, the blade a full meter long and dual edged, and it burned/cut through any vegetation it touched with not a single ounce of resistance. Maybe like a quarter of an ounce on the really thick stuff, but definitely not a full ounce. The heat of the pommel felt good in his hand, comforting in the raw power it emanated. As he walked, he began to build more energy in his left hand, though the increase in static would be almost completely unnoticeable thanks to the already brilliant light and power show that was the sword in his right hand. Yeah, this new guy was gonna be just as toasted as the last one.

"Newsflash, it doesn't."
I'll get to reworking his abilities and post him here (probably tomorrow), and you can look him over and see where he's at for yourself.
No one's volunteered, so it looks like I am.
And just to be clear, my demon hunter would be outmatched against those 10-50 tonners and would have to rely on skill, cunning, speed, and agility, along with his powers to defeat them. So he's not a character who can outright rival 10-50 tonners, just one that can beat them with intelligence and preparation.
*raises hand*
No, you don't have to edit. You just start your next post where my action cut off your first one. So basically, the stuff after you lit up the match didn't happen. That's why I try to avoid long-windedness when I'm within range of my opponents. In a cutthroat match like this, they're going to use every advantage I give them.

The thing about post cuts though is that they have to be possible. If our characters were ten feet apart and I threw a rock, you couldn't legitimately leap forward and punch me in time to interrupt the throw, so a post cut like that wouldn't work. If, however, we were within striking distance and I bent down to pick up the rock then attack with it, you could certainly interrupt that.
Another concern I have is the lack of ability to update the cover post (the first OOC post) to include up to date character lists and story information. Do you guys think we should stay here and just use my first post on the second page as the new cover post or should I create new threads that I can update?

Alternatively, I could create a new thread in the interest checks and see if TJ can link to it in the current cover post after I get all his info copied (so TJ, if you're reading this, leave all that info there for now please). This would probably be the best option, since we wouldn't have to leave our current history behind and we'd still be able to update the info as necessary.
