That's about what I was thinking as well. It would be like listening to an old cassette on fast forward. Just a big jumbled mess until you slow it back down.
Looks like you're up Max.
With his heel in Dylan's armpit, all David had to do to prevent the throwing of the leg was keep squeezing, thanks to the extremely poor leverage Dylan's right arm would have, as well as the currently oiled nature of the skin. Lifting his hips further, he applied even more pressure to the left arm, bringing it nearly to the breaking point before his opponent could make another attempt at escape.
Fortunately for David, the width he'd planted his hands at prevented the arm capture and subsequent roll (though having his knees in his armpits would have helped as well), and he simply planted his heels on the other man's hips and waited for Dylan to stop trying to capture the arm before leaning back and continuing with his original train of actions leading to the arm-bar.
As soon as his hands went to his head, David began walking his knees forward into Dylan's armpits, keeping the arms from coming back down. When he bucked, David was thrown forward, though still sitting on the other man's stomach, and he splayed his arms wide to stop himself from slamming his own head straight into Dylan's. When his hips dropped back down, David followed and planted his heels on the tops of his opponent's hips, while still keeping his knees pressed into the other man's armpits.

From here, he would take hold of Dylan's left wrist with both of his own hands and pull it to his chest, then slide his right foot behind the other man's neck as he leaned out over Dylan's left side and onto his back, keeping the arm on his chest and the thumb turned up the entire time. Once in this position, he would push with his right foot and pull with his left, applying pressure to the left side of Dylan's neck and the right side of his ribcage (just beneath the armpit) in order to lock him in place as he lifted his hips and applied pressure to the arm. A good old-fashioned arm-bar.
Six stopped in his tracks and turned to raise an eyebrow at Laika, then his mouth slowly curved into a sort of amused half-smile. "I never thought I'd hear a non-human ever use that phrase." He chuckled as he began walking again, now that the strangeness had worn off. "But as to your question, he's already here on the station. You'll need your ship after, but just to get to where the van is parked." Hey, if she can use earth references, why can't he? Though admittedly, his is a lot older and way more obscure than just making a passing mention of his home planet.

Once they were out of the shop and into the wide open air of the very cramped space station, he stepped into a skycar that had probably seen better days in a garbage disposal unit, then beckoned the others to follow. contrary to what he'd made mention of in the shop, the skycar actually had two bench seats and one of them was (maybe) just big enough for Hessta to wind his tail up beside himself (there's a joke in there somewhere...) and Six and Laika to sit on the other one facing him. Kinda like those limos he'd read about back on earth, but on the brink of falling apart and being sold for scrap. Once everyone was adequately situated and at least mostly inside the car, the driver took off through the tunnels towards the far end of the station with about as much caution as a new york city cabbie (believe it or not, they're even worse in this millenium). "Any other questions you want to ask, now would be a good time. Not much to do for the next hour or so besides watch the scenery and puke."
Shoving his right elbow into the pressure point just above the other man's left knee, David forced the appendage down to the ground before the foot could traverse even half the distance it needed to get under his chin, then immediately pulled his right knee over Dylan's upper leg and forced his own shin down onto his opponent's soft inner thigh. A position that he knew from experience was extremely painful.

He didn't stop there though, and as soon as his right knee was settled, he chainsaw-jerked his already slick left arm out of Dylan's grip, then dug that elbow into Dylan's right knee using the same pressure point he had on the other leg. This time however, he would only push the leg far enough to slide his own left leg through and get out of the other man's guard and into a mount position. From there, he would continue his original plan of driving a series of punches at his opponent's face.
Oh it shouldn't be a problem with the posts, it's writing out a long detailed backstory and personality that usually stymies me. Where possible, I prefer to let the personality unravel how it will and just have a basic idea at the beginning (it seems more authentic to me that way), and my backstories tend to be more like lists of events (simply because if it becomes more than that it'll turn into a mini-novel).
Hey, I love a good active OOC, and I guess one out of two isn't a bad start. ;)

I'll get to work on the CS then, though these here seem to require more information than my last few so it might be a day or three before I get back in the swing of being long-winded and really detailed (though I do have Saturday off work, so that's promising).
So I've perused this a bit today, mostly the OOC (though I'm liking the little bit I've seen of the IC), and since the title says always open I won't waste time asking if it's open, though I will waste it by saying that I won't waste it. ;)

The other thing I'll do is introduce myself. Greetings all, I am Schradinger. 'Sup.

Yup. I think that pretty much covers it. Except for the questions. Always the questions!

First up: Where do we post unaccepted character sheets? Do they just go right into the character bin to be edited as required or do we PM them to a GM first?

Second: Uh... Nevermind. I guess I've just got the one question for now. :)
