Yeah... I wasn't going to have him return until just before the next battle. >_<
When you create a new thread, it auto-posts the first post in the OOC.

Also, I assume the 5.2 is her height? If so, do you actually mean the fraction .2 or is it meant as 5 feet 2 inches?
As the thread GM, what do you think of Green's explanation of charging mechanics LeeRoy?
It's actually the other half of the thread that's supposed to have the IC stuff. :P you might want to switch your posts.

I'll post my character and a response tonight after work.
Actually, if you guys would be willing to allow the use of Arthur's dimensional shifting technology so he can get out of the cave and not delay the fight a bunch afterwards, a cave in caused by Ug's club could be a good way to let the fight progress sooner than it otherwise would. Right now, Arthur's just going to wait out the spike wall, which means that my next post is essentially going to be "Oh, there's a spike wall, I better not charge at it". With a cave-in and a bit of dimensional trickery, we could get the fight going again without wasting a whole turn of posts. And there would be the humor of everyone thinking that Ug just killed Arthur (though with the mood Adrian's in, that might get Ug killed too...).

Oh, and I promise that nobody will be back-stabbed by a super-convenient re-materialization attack... ;)
Goldeagle1221 said Yes, the cave-in idea was the hopes of a fevered mind of a caveman, however the blasts could have weakened the cave. I feel that as fun and as surprising the idea of my caveman acheiving such a feat is, it is impractical and without general concensus, just a humorious thoufht.

The cave in would have to be massive in scale in order to actually kill Arthur, so anything a hit with the club could achieve would do little more than Drall's wall and just slow down the fight.

Not to mention an air tight wall would choke out the flames.

Not fast enough to make a difference.

No more flames would be going out to conceal the wall, but I'd imagine him charging forward would be done within...what, a second or two? I would think by the time the flames dissipated he'd already be well on the way to reaching the wall.

According to Drall's post, he threw up the wall as soon as the flames obscured the entrance, which would have been right before the retaliatory gust of wind. Arthur can't actually move when he's using the gusts, so his gust would hit the wall before he started moving.

He created the wall inside the flames at the entrance of the cave. The flames had already entered somewhat and he made the wall inside them to conceal it.

My point is that erecting the wall would prevent any further flames from entering, making it obvious that the wall was there. Not to mention the fact that his counter-attack would hit the wall and get stopped, giving yet another indication that it was there, and he wouldn't even rush toward the wolfman in the first place, since the action preceding that was interrupted.

I just wanted to be clear on the positioning of the wall.

Edit: Regarding Ug Nug, Arthur hasn't even made it out of the cave to where he can see him yet, though he was apparently standing closer than I thought when he first showed up. I also didn't realize that your post about not interfering without an invitation was a request for one, but I'm fine with you joining if you want and the others have no objections.

Edit to the edit: A cave in would only slow the fight down, and I doubt that hitting the cave wall with a club would produce one on the scale required to have any significant effect on the fight, considering that it just withstood two hurricane force wind blasts.
Just to make sure I understand it right Drall, you summoned the wall of spikes in-between Arthur and Gregor? That would cut off the flames and keep any more from entering the cave at all, defeating the point of trying to use the flames to conceal it.
