Ok, I'll go ahead and post then, seeing as we haven't heard from Goldeagle in 3+ days.
Milieu said Also, is there any sort of trial by combat feature that the players could use as a last ditch effort?

Or in the case of Vincent and Atlas, more likely a first ditch effort. Lol.
Hey LeeRoy, what are the rules on inactivity?
Well... You do do a lot of jumping about, that's for sure. You also write self-obsessed, peerlessly shallow, power hungry, lunatic politicians exceedingly well. I feel I must congratulate you on that sir.

That said, is there actually a way out of this? Judging simply by what is said and written in that post, no amount of reason or logic will compel the other nobles to any action that doesn't lead immediately to the death or incarceration of the seven. For all intents and purposes, their minds seem to have been made up. Short of managing to kill them all on the grounds of being illogical idiots, that is...

so who are we waiting on to continue the fight?

It's Goldeagle's post. He may not officially be a part of the fight, but unless he moves he may be within the range of the fireball.
LeeRoy said Though it's always a bit dubious when an edit comes after it's been accepted.

Which is the part that has me concerned. Also, changing from an indestructible and immovable ~12 inch mass to a 30+ inch mass does significantly alter the melee capabilities of the character in question. Though likely not enough to bump him up a tier. Adding an entirely new weapon is also a concern.
The last edit was 3 days ago. I approved it 4 days ago. I also very specifically remember a golden knife and no living bombs.
Um... That sword was a knife when I approved the CS, and the living bombs were also not there. Please explain.

Also, I believe it is Goldeagle's post.
Vincent is outside too.

As for the illusions, the eye contact only establishes the pathway for the illusion, the way I read it the illusion itself has to be "nudged" into existence by a word or gesture or something that can influence the target whose own mind then fills in the details around whatever original stimuli she provides. I'd imagine she wouldn't be able to outright make someone believe their face is on fire, but if she held a torch close to it the heat would lay the groundwork for that sort of illusion, which she could then feed into. To me, the illusions seem a lot like an extremely vivid form of hypnotic hallucinations.

If that's what she means them to be, I don't really have an issue with it. Especially since she'd have to know at least a little about her target or risk trying to make them see/feel/hear something they would immediately dismiss as an illusion because it runs completely opposite their natural thoughts, feelings, or perceptions.
The reason I approved it was because all he can do is maintain his ability to move (and perceive things) normally at speeds up to 500 mph. How is that any different from super speed? Any speedster that fast is either going to have to have some ability that makes them more durable, or some way to eliminate the normal stresses on a body moving that fast, otherwise they'd break both their legs two steps in.

If you wanted your opinion to count, Melon, you should have actually given reasons instead of making single-sentence statements and apparently expecting us to infer all the rest.
