I suppose that's what I get for loving using names starting with J so much x.x
"I suppose I didn't, you caught me," Jason said with a laugh. "I normally don't have much time for fun between cleaning, cooking dinner, school, and stopping mother dearest from crying all the time," Jason said shrugging, the first time really in this classroom he didn't smile, but not looking sad either. "But when I get a chance to enjoy myself I'd normally just watch movies or something boring like that, nothing too extraordinary about me," he added, bringing back a slightly weaker smile.
"Well it's not like I only started trying to make people happy after I got my powers," Jason said with a smile. "Plus as you can expect I'm not perfect at it, anything on the petals takes a fair bit out of me and I can't seem to do anything between the petals, like love, submission, disapproval, stuff like that," Jason added, not sure how to responded to the other parts. He never knew how to negotiate that side of things.
I keep accidentally calling rainbow-boy James instead of Jason (James is different RP agh)
Artemis looked at Ryder blankly, then turned to a page where she had written 'I'm Artemis' then turned to another and wrote 'Nice power, I can just make and move smoke around,' demonstrating the power with a small castle made of shimmering smoke on her desk, lowering a drawbridge to land on the edge of his, little dots of smoke bouncing across. The smoke then dissipated. It took a lot of concentration to make smoke constructs like that rather than let it drift off like it normally does, and she felt like her mind had just done a thousand push-ups.

James, meanwhile, talking to Cecilia, laughed at what she said and said, "See you can turn into a bunny, close enough," with a grin, then said, "Well, have you heard of empaths? People who can sense how others are feeling? Well I can do that but I can send out, I don't know, waves of emotions, I spent pretty much the whole week seeing what sort of emotions are core to people, ended up finding this," showing a print-off of a flower-like shape explaining core emotions in the center and subtypes and mixtures in and between the petals.
"I'm Jason, pleased to meet you Cecelia and Fluffy," Jason said with a smile even though the girl couldn't see it. Casually leaning forward to take her hood back off he said, "You don't need to hide," with an almost childishly innocent smile. "So what'd the virus make you be able to do? Shapeshifting into a rabbit would be pretty cool," Jason said jokingly, knowing that guess would probably be totally off the mark.
@Boboclown98 We're all in English class and the teacher's there, so you could probably either turn up late or post that you were already in class.
Orion quickly sidestepped as the rope nearly hit his chest, the weight immeasurably close to his chest, brushing against the side of his shirt. He used how close he was to the weapon in an attempt to disarm Aery, throwing his rope dart at part of the rope in Aerienna's weapon. If it hit the rope, the wood dart should hypothetically rip at least part of the rope making it much less accurate if the sharp but wooden dart doesn't go through the rope, pin the rope to the mat, or at least push the rope unnaturally taking Aerienna's balance. Of course that was if it hit the rope at the mid-point he aimed for, a small target even for him given his lack of practice lately, which was quite a long shot. Not something he would've done if it was a real fight with his life on the line.
Artemis turned a page to a page where, figuring someone would try to write to talk to her at some point, wrote 'I'm mute, but I can hear you if you talk back out loud' and looked at the boy. He seemed lazy and like any other random loser, but it was too late now to back out of talking to him. Why must I always be so unlucky Artemis thought to herself, shaking her head.

Jason, smiling that either his power or his words had soothed the girl. "I'm Jason, and what would your name be and your adorable stuffed bunny's name be?" he said with a smile, looking at the stuffed bunny. It was a bit odd for her to be carrying it around but odd didn't mean bad, odd often means it's an awesome idea nobody else has though of yet. He looked back up at the girl, wondering what her power was as he listened to her response. All the while Mr. Pike continued writing on the board and giving some lecture about some grammar thing Jason and Artemis were both too focused on a student to pay attention to.
Jason turned to the girl who just responded to the teacher when noone else bothered to sitting behind him and, seeing her tense body language, he sent a wave of acceptance to her, hoping it would work as planned and lessen her embarrassment and tension. To help that out the old fashioned way, he smiled to her and said, "Don't worry about it, you's be laughing your head off if you heard some of the things I ended up doing accidentally at my old school before I came to Eden City High the start of this year," Jason said with a smile, then bites his lip, focusing on sending the emotion of acceptance to her. It put some strain on Jason, acceptance being a third-level form of admiration and trying to send it so she felt it inwardly. (@Dragonite777)

Mewanwhile Artemis got up lazily and saw another boy with his head on the desk sitting two desks to her right. Flicking to the page she wrote 'Hi' she put it in front of the boy the message facing the roof, moving to the seat next to him. She normally found people annoying but he seemed to not be too annoying so she gave a weak smile to herself and leaving the message waiting for him to wake up and see it, oblivious to the fact he was not in fact there.
