She and her fleet served in the Covenant army for countless years, though at the outbreak of the Human-Covenant war, she and her fleet would quickly find themselves retasked to obliterating Human settlements, glassing more than a few worlds and moons in the process. The ship, and her shipmaster, Remas, would willingly serve the Covenant right up until the Great Schism.
Finding himself stuck between various seemingly illogical thoughts of process, Remas was ordered to stand down and to hand the fleet over to the Jiralhanae, his unending loyalty making it seem like such a turnover would occur without issue. This would not be the case. Whilst the preparations to change ownership was undergoing, Vikti monitored communication channels, hearing about infighting between the Sangheili and the Jiralhanae forces. At once, he notified the Shipmaster, preparations were stopped, and the fleet was quickly ordered to exterminate all Jiralhanae aboard. Shortly after amidst the confusion, Remas ordered the fleet to "burn away these cowardly brutes." Without much resistance, the Fleet of Reclamation obliterated the Jiralhanae detachment deployed to the group. Remas then brought the fleet far out of reach from the rest of the Covenant, unwilling to fight the entire force of the Jiralhanae controlled fleets. He knew his fleet was slow to change hats, he knew he got lucky, he didn't want to push that luck.
But that wasn't what happened next, because of course Remas can't have nice things. Daniel selected them, and now the vessel Fires of Antiquity appears, without her fleet, ready to blaze through whatever threatens Remas and his ship.
