I was so blown away by the eclipse. I even got to pretend it was entirely hidden here in Michigan, when the clouds covered the peak. :P

I know there was a Rabbit Doubt game being planned. It was in my old subscriptions. Probably hosted by Squee.

But sure, I volunteer as tribute.

I don't remember if we interacted much before.

If we did, then I guess I'm being mean.

If we didn't, then I guess I'm being awkward.

Huh. Lose, lose.

Were you maybe in one of my Rabbit Doubts? I recognize your name.
I'm interested!
INSANE INTEREST!!!!!! :D

Yay! I love the enthusiasm. So happy to have your interest!

Also see that you're a Death Note fan. I haven't actually watched it yet, but I'm crazy for the English voice actor. :P
Anyway, want to take this to PMs? I'll talk to you again when I get back from my tabletop day.

You got it, dude. Have a great time with your tabletop!
Oh cool, another name I recognize. :)

It was worth bating my breath. Romance RP scares me if people right off the bat dictate who-and-who should hook up as endgame, since my character(s) may grow on their own, like bathroom moss; it's hopeless to control.

I know exactly what you mean. It makes things feel forced and clunky, and it is rarely ever pleasant. At least, from my experience.

I'm not sure if "write a boss battle" as a group will be smooth, but that's just me and my lack of faith of people thinking in sync.

Again, that really depends on how many people we end up getting. If it is dozens, of course not, that would be a nightmare! But if we can get a solid group of four or five writers, and we get a good rotation going, I think it would be totally doable. :)
Considering the lack of effort so far, I'm hoping that you just came up with this idea and haven't been thinking about it too long. I would be interested in this type of RP, however I want to see what you are planning and have done before actually saying I am interested. What are your plans? Are we going to each be part of the original 10K or will we just be playing the game? Are Kirito, Asuna, and the rest going to be around? Or will we be replacing them with our own characters? These (and other) questions are ones that NEED to be answered before I can show any real interest.

As I've mentioned, I am simply curious whether or not there are SAO fans on the site. Most of the roleplays I searched were far outdated, so I wasn't sure what the community looked like. I haven't provided any plans because there is nothing more disappointing than compiling a detailed pitch, only to have no one take interest.

My plans hinge entirely on how many people are interested, and what sort of writing they enjoy. I'm looking for a collaboration, not a rigid GM-run exercise. The plan is to follow the story of the original players, but I don't see a need for canon characters.

Please don't mistake my approach as a lack of effort - I had written on an SAO specific site for a few years before recently leaving. I have enough material to make this an exciting experience. But it is important to me that whoever is willing to do this with me realizes they will be helping me make the calls. This isn't something I'm simply going to run them through. I apologize if that isn't what you're used to.
