Count me in, good sir, or mam. I will PM you details soon! This sounds like something I can really get in to.
> [You asked, I pointed.](http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/19063/posts/ooc) > You could check out my [Earthbound RP](http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/75668) if you want! It's just starting out and I don't have any players yet. Even if you don't know what Earthbound is, it should be a fun experience because it's not directly tied to the video games at all, just the style and silly spirit of them. :) > > Check it out! It's got a loose structure to follow, but I'm hoping that just makes it more fun. Thank you to the both of you! The RP you suggested me Dinh, it looked rather interesting and I am certainly considering jumping in myself. Alamantus, thank you for your recommendation to join your RP! I will take a look, sometimes a lighthearted, silly RP is just as fun as a much more serious in tone RP.
I do hope that I am posting this in the right section, seemed appropriate considering the nature of it. My fellow RPers! Do you have an RP that you think I'd be perfect for? After looking around, postulating ideas for my own RP to start, I've ultimately resorted to seeing what my fellows think I should look in to here. I am the kind of guy that really enjoys getting lost in a well thought out RP, something with a lot of depth, a lot of purpose, ambitious, plot driven, a lot of character development, the ingredients that assuredly result in a successful RP with longevity. I want something comprised of like minded, serious RPers, people that get where I am coming from. I am not stuck in my ways, my mind remains open to new things, new approaches or perspectives on what constitutes a memorable, and fun experience. Sci-Fi, Steampunk, Fantasy, Futuristic, Apocalypse, Religious, Medieval... ...just a few of the things I am interested in doing here, more will follow as I become more comfortable and adjusted to how things work here. So, if you will, please tell me where I should look here, offer your invitations to your own RP's if you'd like. I am eager to give a taste of what I can do!
Thank you! Experience is nice to have, but the years I have spent not doing this, I am certain I will be a bit rusty, skills not as sharp or defined. I may start my own role play here to start with, but I am also considering finding one to join that is ongoing. Various types of role play interest me, I like fantasy, sci-fi, slice of life, post apocalyptic, futuristic, your gritty, suspense driven role play, there's too many to name that I'd like to dive head first in to. For the time being, I will browse around here and see what I like.
Admittedly, I do not know where I should, or could start with this introduction to, well, I. I've been role playing since I was in the sixth grade, and eventually, I took to Yahoo Messenger where there was once a thriving community of people like all of us here. I loved it there. I felt challenged, I felt compelled to be better, and to push myself. That may seem like a trivial, or insignificant thing to someone not familiar with role play, however that never discouraged me, rather it inspired me. I was known as Dark, or Dark Kirigoe if I'm to be precise. During the peek of Yahoo and their online messenger service, among the role playing community there, I eventually found myself with a reputation. There were many blunders in my quest to be better than the best (I was a young lad then, so being better than my opponent was really something I worked for...) and now and again, I found myself hunted down by people that didn't like that I'd beat them. Personally, I never took defeat bitterly, rather I saw the person to best my as a rival, or a mentor of sorts that I could learn from. Upon the eventual decline of activity on Yahoo, I felt accomplished as a role player. I left that chapter of my growth behind me, and looked forward to future challenges... There were other forums I was active on from time to time, as the years would pass on by. RPG Chat was one of them, and it was there that I would meet a guy that really, and truly impressed me. There was nothing I did that could out wit him, he was always several steps ahead of me, and I found it to be wildly inspiring. Of course. All of this would take place several years after my days on Yahoo, I was nearly 20 at this current time I speak of...or, I think I was. I can't remember the guys name that he used on the forum, but I had not seen anyone better than him, not even today. I came to this forum to get back to doing something I have always loved doing. This forum looks inviting, and plenty active. All of you here, I look forward to getting out there, and to seeing what I am still capable of, and as well, what all of your are capable of. I will learn from you, and maybe you, from me. Until we meet up out there!
