I can’t say for sure. It’s all hypothetical. I always avoid messing with people who have technological elements to them in any way so I have no experience. The idea of it feels inhumane, if that makes sense.

I understand. In this case, it’d be more like a doctor operating.

Yes, but anything related to your mom is the riskiest.

What all does your ability let you see?
<Snipped quote by Session>

There’s no way I’d risk it because I just do not know.

It seems like anything we try will have some serious risk to it.
<Snipped quote by Session>

We’ll keep the option in mind.

Would you... have some way to extract that information from mom without triggering those memories?
<Snipped quote by Session>

We could learn, maybe. I absolutely hate doing it to… “Sentient Machines” for lack of a better term, but I have a bit more than a natural gift for navigating technology… And I’m not proposing using you as a lab rat either, don’t get the wrong idea.

I'd sooner trust you than some of the characters who would jump at the opportunity.

Hmm…

Plus, if we roll the wrong dice, they could easily end up taking advantage of this mess.
<Snipped quote by Session>

And requires expertise, just like brain surgery.

Right. And that’s where I’m mostly at a loss.

<Snipped quote by Session>

Is there a place that we can do that?

A place, no. Maybe there’s a handful of people who know how to do something like that in our world. But I’ve never heard of anything like this happening before, and digital creatures are still not understood very well.
<Snipped quote by Session>

Well. That’s a start.

It's an uncomfortable start. Fixing that is along the same lines as brain surgery.
<Snipped quote by Session>

You know enough about your own anatomy to have an idea based on how you process information?

Sure. There’s a lot to it, but the last step of processing is to go into something that’s, for all intents and purposes, some sort of core that turns that data into what I perceive. That must be where the problem is, if everything else picks her up properly.

I think it’s safe to say this means the issue runs deeper than what we’re analyzing right now then.

Then the question is diagnosis. How could this be happening?
