Hey everyone! I'm Sever--(she/her), and an overworked and underpaid college student who's on the verge of graduation lol. I'm also a purveyor of the finest Dank Memes(tm).

As far as RP info goes, I'm literate/advanced literate+ only (like 250 word minimum please), big fan of storytelling, drama, worldbuilding, & character development. Love different power dynamics and strong-willed characters. Give me as much friction as possible please.

I only do 1x1 on Discord (and will provide my username there with you once we confirm a rp), and will usually have female main characters, but don't care about the gender of your main character.

Sometimes I do fandom rps, but I only play original characters.

I also love cats.

Thanks for checking out my page! :)

Heyo! You can call me Sever, Wire, or Eta; I use she/her pronouns and I’m 23-years old. I’ve been a creator all of my life, wanting to talk even before I had teeth (apparently lol). But I love stories, storytelling, and watching characters get into messes! I always welcome the fantastical, the magical, and most of all, the chaotic. And dramatic. Give me all of the drama lmao.

Before moving onto plots and some little written intros to the rps themselves (which may/may not have a role in the rp itself, just more something that's happening separately in the rp's universe), here are some ground rules so we’re on the same page!

(Also sorry if this page is a bit of a mess--first time posting a interest check of sorts here haha)

[REQUIREMENTS/GENERAL INFO]:

On Discord only (PM me for my username on there) | 3rd person, past tense (negotiable) | Literate/Advanced Literate+ (3 large paragraphs minimum/250+ word minimum), very good grammar | Mid/Long-Term

* I love writing for side-characters (of any type) and will totally rp them too, but I’m aiming for the rp to centralize our main characters. Side-characters always make the rp better and the world fuller!

* I prefer some (slowburn, preferably enemies-to-lovers, in case it's not obvious lol) romance happening, also definitely LGBTQIA+ friendly (note: my main characters are female), but this rp is strictly safe for work regardless of the plot. Any buildup is fine, but then I like to fade to black.

* I would prefer if your main character has a more dominant, commanding personality!

* I tend to write my characters out, but if you use any sort of face claim, that’s totally fine with me (my personal preference is fantasy art over anime/real face claims though). I may/may not also draw my interpretation of our characters down the line too lmao 👀. I also tend to do (more basic) character sheets to reference back to, and ask that you at least do a super basic one!

* Please be between the ages of 20 and 30 irl! I would prefer to write with people that around my age. Also, I’d prefer for our characters to be adults (at least mid-20ish); no teens or kids.

* I love including grit and darkness in the rp itself with actual mature themes (life vs death, moral dilemmas, violence, cursing, etc.), but balanced with occasional comedy. If you prefer something more lighthearted, totally a-okay too!

*I enjoy doing dice rolls for some certain actions to add a randomness factor (and add modifiers and such), but if you prefer no rolls that’s fine! My rps are always text-based, but the dice-rollers add a lovely unpredictability that I’ve grown to love.

* Life is pretty hectic, so apologies if I’m a bit spotty for now! I have lots of patience for rp partners, and I hope that can be reciprocated.

* I always enjoy the occasional OOC chat, but I just prefer rping over chatting!

* Please message me with more than just a "hi" or "wanna rp?"--I'll ignore those messages. If you give me a little info on yourself, or something in particular that caught your eye, that’d be perfect!

* Feel free to direct message if you're interested!

[ROMANTIC TROPES I LOVE]:

-Enemies-to-lovers, slowburn, power imbalances, height differences, forced/stuck together, forbidden love, fake relationship, cultural differences, etc.
-Also keep in mind that romance is always supplementary/secondary to plot and character development (to me)! :)

Note:

My interests change all the time. Below are plots I’m currently interested in pursuing, but they do cycle and shift with whatever I’m itching to play out! These plots are short and basic because I want to hear what you prefer when it comes to tropes, worldbuilding; any ideas or things you want to include, I’m all ears!

POKEMON: TIME TURN

[Downtown Slate City, 3000]

Tommy presses his face against the clean car window, watching Slate City’s jagged skyline fade into the distance, the high walls protecting the city from the monsters outside—Pokemon, warped and massive and destructive. Not like his best Poochyena. Not like his best friend. He inhales, exhales, breath hitched—his family car’s rising off the ground, slipping into the skyway. His large, dark eyes skim the distance, the oncoming storm. Mom and Dad speak on something inconsequential, something he doesn’t understand—taxes, numbers. He glances between them, sees the car’s camera watching them. He can’t imagine a life without surveillance.

“Is something happening over there?” He asks, pointing his chin towards the dark clouds.

His parents exchange a glance. Dad twists his head, shakes it, smiles. Tommy knows it’s fake—razor-thin, strained. He’s smarter than they think he is. “No, kiddo. We’re just going on a little trip!"

Tommy looks back at the clouds. He sees a giant wing, lightning. Thunderbird….

“Is that the Zapdos you said they were catching? Is that why everyone’s leaving the city?” Tommy’s gaze sinks. People are screaming, running—dirty, old, gross cars stacked together on the ground, caught in traffic. Those cars are so different than his family’s car, he realizes—all smooth and sleek and fancy. Leather seats and all. Flying car.

Dad freezes. Glares at Mom, who only gives him a stern shake of her head back, and he looks back at Tommy again. “How’d you hear that?”

Tommy shrugs. “I saw the hologram of you and the shadowy man.”

Thunder booms—the car shudders. Tommy presses his face to the glass once more. Flying vehicles are headed towards the god—its screech makes him shudder, makes his limbs calcify. Lightning-bolts shoot some vehicles down. The bird’s flying over the wall. Cars are veering off the skyway. Rain’s sudden—Mom curses under her breath.

“Honey, we should land—“

Tommy looks the other way. Another bird’s flying down—the sea’s freezing. The rain turns hard, to ice. His stomach churns. Articuno…

“Keep going!” Dad snarls, fumbling for his communicator. He presses it against his ear. “What’s wrong with you?! The device should’ve worked!”

Tommy’s crying. He sinks into his seat. The car’s shaking. The bird is flying above them, ahead; he stares blankly. With each wingbeat, sheets of rain turn to snow—

And the car’s covered.

Tommy screams. The car’s falling, falling, falling—

Into the jagged skyline.

[The Plot]

(to be developed further via discussion)

The Future: M/c is working for an evil team, which is, of course, doing evil things. Capturing the gods (legendary Pokemon), using their power for their own cause. M/c is desperate for work—and doesn’t care what evil she’s working with in order to get a proper paycheck.

The Past: Y/c, (blessed by one of the gods?) is sabotaging the evil team, flitting through time. They came from long ago (or not too long ago); an ancient culture, a certain age or period—and may or may not be able to control their time-travel powers well, but they’ve been warned of the future. They need to stop it before it begins. Their blessing is sometimes more of a curse, though—

Y/c accidentally jumps into the future, to where m/c is, and implicates her—dragging her into another timeline.

They both come together, trying to figure out how to stop a terrible future. It’ll be dependent on what we want; inquire inside. Totally fine with human or Pokemon main characters in any region, or one we make up!

(Note: I haven’t played any of the games since Sun/Moon, but I’m keeping up lol. I’d love to use Pokemon Showdown to stage battles and such with this—it adds another fun layer here! I’ve also played many fangames/rom hacks, so if you’re inspired by one of those regions let me know too.)

WITCH WAY?

[Blackthorn, Connecticut—Pop. 8,920.]

“Fucking fairies. You know that my cousin’s friend got his baby swapped with one of them? He’s a changeling. The parents removed the wings and pierced his ears at the same time, luckily…did it at Claire’s.” John said between bites of an energy bar, looking at the highway. Autumn was in full swing—trees all burnt-orange, red, brown. A few cars drove past; none too high.

“Damn.” Mitchell muttered, taking a sip of coffee. “Most humans don’t even know if a changeling’s living under their nose. We do a good job, don’t we? Who even needs those fancy CSA guys, anyway…?” He glanced at John, smirking.

“Hell yeah, man.” John nodded, opened his mouth, about to say more—but their phone began to ring. John answered it. “Yeah? Officer J—“

“We have a Code 55 going on. Blackthorn Middle. Apparently a kid suddenly disappeared in the middle of class. Poof. No signs they wanted to run away, nothing weird going on—perfectly normal kid. I’ll send you the details in a few. Check for magic signatures, alright?” On cue, Mitchell’s phone beeped.

“Roger that.” John sighed, began to speed away, biting his lip.
Fucking weirdos—probably magic. They’re kidnapping kids, too?” He stared forward, propping one elbow on the steering wheel. “Second case in the last month…”

“Probably some child sacrifice ritual-thing. Nobody’s safe.” Mitchell flicked through the details, biting his lip. “Oh hey, I know this kid. Family lives in my neighborhood. He’s a good kid, yeah—a Boy Scout…”

The radio flicked on. Loud, grating heavy metal—both John and Mitchell cursed, reaching to shut it off. “I thought you —“ John began, Mitchell about to ask the same thing. The radio flicked on once more. Static. John scowled, went a little faster. The car was shaking from the speed, or maybe something else. “Turn it off. This isn’t funny.”

“I’m trying.” Mitchell cursed, poking the buttons. “Uh—when’d it get so dark out? Some kinda storm?” The car was moving faster. The engine thrummed. Sweat beaded down their faces.

“This isn’t the right road…the fuck?” John turned the wheel to stop, but the wheel wasn’t budging.

The road was ending soon. Trees, a ravine—

Static. Latin on the radio. Music in reverse. The car was getting hot—too hot—John cursed, tried to unbuckle his seatbelt, heartbeat in his palms, eyes wide. “Get out of here! Something’s possessing the fucking car!”

“I’m trying!” Mitchell gasped, tears running down his cheeks. The car was moving inhumanly fast. He couldn’t pull himself forward. Too fast, too fast—

“Fuck!” They both screamed, thick tree forward, closing the gap, ahead, ahead—

Their bodies were never found.

[The Plot]

(to be developed further via discussion)

A twentysomething year-old witch (m/c) moves into a new, sleepy, small town to teach at a local school...and maybe start a coven. Y/c works for a group of (supernatural police force/government agency/former supernaturals, now anti-magic folk), ensuring the town's safety. (Or y/c can even be a demon or other supernatural being that m/c accidentally summons?) Our characters happen to run into one another, go about their regular lives; maybe see each other at the local coffee shop, downtown, the gym, etc.

Suspicions arise--and y/c investigates. When y/c gets on m/c's trail...things get messy. After a failed attempt at killing y/c, m/c must work with y/c to reveal the magic hidden in the town, maybe save face, pretend to be y/c's partner, whatnot. Their sleepy town has woken up, though--children are disappearing. Our characters must work together, and in the process, realize that something much deeper--and greater--has taken root in their home's soil...that must be unearthed.

Hey everyone! Hope you’re having a lovely day/night/some point in-between, because time zones.

You’re free to call me Sever, Wire, or anything else at all lol.

I’ve rp’d for a little under half of my life (on/off for about 10 years on a site called Figment, of all things lmao) and adore worldbuilding, magic/supernatural elements, Drama(tm), plot and character creation/development, and most romantic tropes (enemies to lovers always has my heart <3 but romance is always secondary to plot in what I write). Writing rps is always a good way to keep me writing for the non-serious stuff lol. I’ll be posting some plots soonish for 1x1 rps on Discord and such!

Also, extra note: I have a cat. He’s an orange tabby and I love him dearly.

Thanks in advance for the welcome! :D
