Current The universe cares not for anything. You are but a speck of microscopic dust floating around aimlessly. It does not care for you. Though it might if you treat it to a nice candlelit dinner.

Yeah, Caz won't be taking it up ever. He'll probably be a good shoulder to cry on, or someone to confess to, ironically like a chaplain, but positions of leadership don't suit him well.
Especially given that he's a hardcore alcoholic AND smoker.

So it seems like we got a Team Mum. Should be fun.
(Sent the GM a much larger sheet, since it'll be fun to keep some information away from other PCs.)

It hadn't reacted any further after no response was given, which didn't trouble the Assassin one bit. It watched as the fight left the area the rest of the group was at. By now, the Assassin would have probably completed the job with less collateral damage. Regardless, it'd do the Assassin well to record the interaction between the entity that possessed the body and the other two women. As it went to follow up the building, a random person had pulled himself out of a garbage bin, and wandered over.
"Interaction between an entity and two females. Outcome: Unkno-" The Assassin stopped as several numbers and letters flashed on its HUD, detailing a new hit, that was really close to its current position. An important target too, over twenty million credits for completion of the hit, one of the more rewarding ones, especially for a one-person hit.

Official from the Taidali Empire, name: Lenah Ki'Lenti, meeting in the 1st Quadrant of the Skyline District. Officialising a trade agreement between the Taidali Empire and the trade corporations of Ring City. You are to remove the Official before they complete signing, and you will be payed the twenty million credits after the job is complete.

Security personnel include:

  • A dozen trained Taidali soldiers, supposedly apart of the Royal Guard of the Empire. Threat Level: Low.
  • Two Taidali Defense Drones, both outfitted with state of the art tracking cannons. Threat Level: Low.
  • A single unknown entity. Classification unknown. Threat Level: Unknown. Treat with caution.

Upon completing the read, the Assassin stopped his conversation, and immediately started climbing the building. It needed a fast way of getting to the Skylight District, and it needed it soon.

HOURS LATER.

With a loud hum, the near silent hover-copter made its descent to the pad on the top of the Trade Corporations building, and touched down a couple seconds later. The large vehicle opened up, and its occupants exited. Over a dozen humanoid creatures, all of them standing between 5' and 6'5", with long tails protruding from the back of their attire, and long, digitigrade legs(like a cat or dog). Most of their faces were covered, however those that didn't sported gruff features, looking significantly sharper than a human, and seemed to have fur-like hair on the back of the head, whereas the faces themselves seemed smooth, almost as though they were moulded out of stone. Most of them were armed, of course, save three. Two pulled along a large container, and the last was a slightly shorter individual, wearing attire that looked almost like royalty. Two drones hovered behind the group, both sporting a single large silver cannon on their undersides, looking as threatening as the rest of the armed group. They moved their way towards the door to enter the building, and were met by the Trade Corporations own security detail, where they started verifying identification and other classified information. After a few slow minutes, the two groups shook hands, and made their way further inside the building, and began arrangements to complete the agreement.

The Official pulled aside a single soldier, and spoke to him in a hushed voice, in their own language.
"I've been notified that a target has been placed on my head, step up security. The price is... significant. We need to finish this and leave, as soon as possible."
"Will do ma'am, we'll cooperate with the TC's to figure out security, you won't be harmed, you have my word."
"Make sure of it lieutenant... make sure of it..."

And with that, pair returned to the rest of the officials, and once again began talking formalities and toasting to 'new friends'.

Oh how that was going to change.

"Trust is for those who have something to lose."

The stay in Hell was... odd. It seemed normal, and yet the occupants of what looked to be a normal city were beyond normal. Horned individuals... fleshy, obscene looking dogs with maws filled with serrated teeth... even some praying mantis lookalike creatures that stalked the alleys, ready to pick off any demons that came too close...

But they all bled the same.

The Assassin tore through them. Each specie It could find fell beneath its blade. Each had its own weakness, and the Assassin found each and every one of them. The praying mantis, for example, had a vulnerable abdomen. One cut, and its guts spilled out, leaving it open to basically any follow-up attack. It also found out that it had hard-to-cut chitin on its neck and chest, which almost surprised the Assassin.

Almost.

The Assassin cut a swathe through Hell, but all with intent. With every kill, it marked down new information it may have gathered from the encounter, as well as multiple blood samples, parts of tissue, and whatever looked of interest on the dead demon's body. Each different type of demon, along with the respective blood and tissue sample, was listed under a different entry in It's suits' bestiary. For almost two days, the Assassin studied the demons very closely. Making notes about whether or not they could feel pain, emotion, or even speak. Most of them could, so at least 70% were sapient, though all of them seemed sentient. In the two days the Assassin was active in Hell, already there were rumours being spread about a terror among terrors... almost on the tier of Doom Guy... almost. Soon, the demons started travelling in groups, some even foregoing age old feuds to band together for safety, though that didn't matter in the long run. Numbers didn't matter with the Assassin. It killed what It wanted, for the reasons It wanted... The women and the children too...

And then as quick as it had started, the Assassin was back on the train. The individuals it had come with all there as well, save one, as well as a new face, which the Assassin assumed was the missing one, but with a makeover. It remained silent throughout the ride, but it didn't bother to cloak. They had already seen it, cloaking again would drain much-needed energy reserves. Again, as quick as they arrived, the train came to a stop in an alley with an... almost odd looking girl in it. The Assassin had seen too much to call her odd, but she wasn't human, at the very least. It was about to leave without another word, before the blonde girl exclaimed and writhed in pain. At first it didn't pay much attention, but then it said something that... caught It's interest.

"I should introduce myself, my name is Ver'Tiel, your friend here is quite the specimen."

The Assassin barely reacted, it just simply tilted Its head in amusement, watching even as she turned into something else. Again, unfazed by the transformation. The blades slowly came out, as It turned It's head towards Shina, the person who seemed closest to the former girl.

"Pay me and I will make it suitable for exorcism." It asked bluntly, not willing to make a move until It got the okay from Shina, as well as assurance that there will be money involved.

It was halfway through scaling up a building in plain sight(cloak op), when It was... teleported to a subway train. Now, this wasn't the first time it had been abruptly teleported, and was the only time It'd seen it done to multiple people at once, seeing as though there were at least another eight people who seemed just as surprised and pissed off from the sudden teleportation, but that certainly didn't stop It from observing this "Death" from speaking. This one seemed different from this iteration of Death... more powerful, perhaps?

Regardless, It watched Death once again walk off, explaining something about being in Hell. So much for lightning never striking twice... slowly but surely, it came out of its cloak, not really worried that the group would be a threat, since they mostly looked like kids, and general thugs. Nothing It hasn't dealt with before. They spoke amongst each other, though it didn't care.

"..." It made a slight sound to announce it's presence, before making its way towards them out of the train, crushing the phone It was given as it went.
"Name, designation, and purpose?" It asked... basically everyone. The blades on its wrist coming out, deliberately slowed, as to try to at least scare some of them into information. It could use the truth serum, but that would require cutting someone, and that required effort.

The doors to the shop swung open and... nothing walked in. This left the shopkeep both stunned, and confused, before standing up and moving to close the door, though something caught his eye while he was in the act of doing so. A displacement of light? Must just be his imagination playing up, he thought. He closed the door, turned to return to his seat where he was, before being interrupted by the shutters to his store closing... again on their own. He stood up again, this time reaching under the counter for his very own weapon: A new, gleaming shotgun. He didn't even get to aim it before it was yanked out of his hands, by... the displacement of light. It's form rippled, and standing before him was the jet black for of something out of his nightmares...

"I... please don't kill me! I'll give you all the money, anything!" He cried the words as his bladder relieved itself. His heart rate increased, and immediately he was sweating profusely.

"Miniature Fusion Reactor." The voice that came from the horror was... course. As if it was pained to speak out loud. It moved its free hand behind its back, and pulled out a small cylinder, though rusted and worn. It had a very faint orange glow to it, though it seemed as though it was dying, that much the shop-keep could tell. "This. New."

"I-I sold it! Couple days ago! M-man left the city right afte-!" The man's pleading voice was cut short as a small and sharp blade cleanly sliced his throat, sending a spurt of blood on both the assassin and the counter. As the assassin took a step back, the man fell backwards, letting out one final gurgle of sound escape before expiring.

"..." The assassin wiped off what little blood was on its small wristblade, then retracted it back into its wrist, before re-acquiring the reactor it had pulled from its back, re-inserting it, and changing the sign on the door to say 'closed' instead of 'open', leaving the shutters closed. Guess It had to find another way of getting a Fusion Reactor... The assassin wasn't the happiest at the moment, and ignored the civilians who recoiled at the sight of fresh blood on the suit. A couple even ran off to call for authorities... as if that would do anything. With a hiss of servos, the suit turned and walked off back towards the main food hall, since that was close to the next location that may or may not sell a Fusion Reactor.

The bustling centre was not the right place for it. It watched from the shadows, Its form engulfed in them, making it next to impossible to see. With a small turn of its head, it had completed surveying whatever was in sight, and finished mapping out the superstore. A multilevel diagram of the store popped in in the corner of It's HUD, marking out potential targets and locations for It to visit. It sighed, which to anyone else, would have sounded like gears starting up in a car of old. It dropped down from its perch, about twenty metres up, and landed on Its feet, but without a sound. This of course alerted a couple of nearby shoppers, who saw the Thing drop seemingly from nowhere, and they jumped back in fright. It stood up straight, glanced in the shoppers direction, and they made haste in the opposite direction.
Another intake of breath, this time seemingly in amusement.
And then, as quickly as it had appeared, it disappeared again. Its form rippling, then seemingly fading into the tide of new shoppers. Unbeknownst to all, it was making its way to the nearest target displayed on a map.
A small weapons store. Something that might be selling what It wanted.
Ayyyy, aight, I'll shove it in Characters tab and see if I can get an entry post out, but I'm slightly busy, so sorry if I can't in the next couple hours or so.

Aaaaand here's the character I said I'd post! Enjoy, it's quite the read, and tell me what you think of it.
