The Nesim household received the message, and Anat's mother called her son. He didn't live in their household anymore, but things like this Anat would always end up getting dragged along to if he didn't have work or something else planned. 'Oh well,' he'd think, 'It keeps them happy'. Chelsea would avoid the meeting however, as she not only didn't want to go but actually had work when it was set to happen.
And so later that day, Anat dressed up in some of the only casual clothing he had that was appropriate for a church, a plain black t-shirt and a pair of jeans, met with his parents at their house. The drive to the church wasn't far, but in Anat's mind it took forever. His usual methods of passing time weren't exactly applicable to a car ride with his parents, so all he had was a phone with which to chat with his usual online group of misfits. Of course however his mother lectured him to put that away when they actually got to the church, but by the time they were there Anat figured he could find some place off to the side.
When the three arrived they were 10 minutes early, and almost immediately split off. Anat's Mother and Father headed off to find the meeting, hoping to find the person who sent the email so they could thank them for the invitation. They would be active participants throughout the night in discussion, barely remembering that their son was off somewhere else within the church till it was time to leave.
Meanwhile, Anat sat off towards the back of the church, having put away his phone and put it on silent mode. With relative seclusion from prying eyes and listening ears, Anat was able to do something he found a lot more interesting than anything on his phone. In a soft, yet firm voice Anat began to speak in a language that only members of the Celestial Choir should know: Enochian. "Angel of this place, by my authority as a Child of God I call you forth." From the alter in the front of the church rose a being, neither man nor woman. Its face and features were like they were carved of marble, yet still seemed soft to the touch. From its back came an pair of eagle's wings, spreading out to its full length at first. It then proceeded to the back of the church, sitting down next to Anat as the two began to speak, mostly of the church's history, but also of The Divine.
It was not a completely obvious display of magic however. Mages would notice something off about the area, but it would take Spirit Sight to see the scene for all it was. Mortals would simply not notice anything.
