Just got back from a hiatus. I was so scared to come back out of sheer shame, but I'm glad I did.

Carnage smiled as his men all aimed at Gervus, and opened fire. The hailstorm was made of armor piercing and explosive rounds. It would only be moments before Gervus died a painful death. He was going to do whatever it took to make sure he didn't come back. He wanted to be sure that Gervus would not come back from this, so even after he would die from the hailstorm. They were going to continue firing, until there was nothing left for them to raise again. Carnage's final words to Gervus were outright insults. "Tell your Master's that I am coming Gervus! Tell them your worst nightmare marches to their door! AND THAT THEY'RE ROTTEN HIDES WILL MAKE A DAMNED GOOD COAT!!!" He roared before the gunfire drowned out his blood thirty roar.

Carnage smiled as his plan came to fruition, a squad of men in hidiing, one of his best, used their jump jets to launch themselves at Gervus, all as strong as he himself was, aiming to make him reconsider the freezing tactic, especially since it would only kill a few, and they could easily fight on ice. Thirdly, the jump was so high and the men so strong that Gervus's momentum was at least halved by the raw force. one even made a good uppercut to his jawline, doubting it'd help, he really just wanted to punch the bastard. Gervus though that the men had a blind spot, but recent advancements produced a new Tactician, the Oracle, he seemed to see everything, though he looked blind. He had called Gervus out from his approach vector and given Carnage the tactical info necessary to react, it was rare he needed this tactician, but when he did. He did, and he would never deny that. At the denial of Gervus's airborne attack his men re-emerged from cover, and re-initiated their brutal assault, no doubt the men would be shaken off and killed. They knew that risk, but they shut down Gervus, and planted a tracker. This tracker further locked the Sword of Dawn on Gervus alone. The signal was now given and thousands of human soldiers poured from origins unknown, guns blazing. This was going to be a massacre, and under his helmet Carnage laughed. Gervus thought he was going to outwit one could find a way to crush an abominations skull? How naieve...and amusing.
There was something off about the tactic, so he simply pulled his men inside, then opened fire, though in truth, lying in wait were thousands of reinforcements ordered to follow his unit. He knew this was coming, and he knew Gervus had a large personal force somewhere out there. So when they showed up, the girth of the human military shall arise, and so shall the coming Dawn. He laughed as he saw undead and their jeeps being torn to scrap and meat giblets. He expected something to charge in between the split ranks also. So hydraulic angular jams were set up on the Southern Gate. It wouldn't hold long, but it'd reveal their plan and give Carnage ample time to react. He wasn't going to throw a fight out of the desire to show Gervus the bone necklace he wore, made of the shard of Knarl's skull.

What Gervus failed to realize was Carnage was a lunatic, but he was NO fool. He knew that everyone had a second agenda, and his own agenda, kill Gervus and add his large metal frame to his collection of abomination bones. Death will come twice.
Carnage loved Gervus's attempt at drawing him out. albeit an ambush lay in wait for any tricks Gervus had...So a small force came out, though his small was double that of Gervus's force, in manpower and armaments, being they are Super Soldiers. They stood not too close or far from the base, as the one advantage Carnage truly had was The Sword of Dawn, his satellite superweapon, getting a fix on Gervus and his men, all he was to do is stall, then force Gervus into the nearby open fields, and use it, if it didn't kill him, he'd have to fall back either way. Carnage knew Gervus's true ensemble was waiting for him to strike, his arm cannon was his personal win against the dragon, though he failed to remember that Carnage and all his men used explosive or armor piercing ammo, and Gervus was all metal. So he and his men could rip him down with sustained fire. Also his mounted guns were even worse than the handheld. His men wouldn't fall as quick as Gervus thought, too many contingency plans sat ready and waiting. Plus Carnage was fast enough to elude Gervus's Magical onslaught and get up close and personal, but with the soldiers in his way, he'd be dead in moments, armored or not. So he held his ground, he may be bloodthirsty, but he isn't stupid. Gervus will need to make the initial play here as Carnage replied with an insult "Shut the Hell up. Knarl was fodder to me then, your nothing different. Go ahead and try this base. You will die a failure, that I can promise you. OH! Almost forgot, a personal gift from me to you." What landed at Gervus's feet may be the greatest dishonor to an enemy, he had cut out Knarl's heart and preserved it, that, is now what lays at Gervus's feet. To show him that Carnage is unending, and unrelenting.
Carnage cackled in a maddening tone at the glistening bones that flew his way, the laugh was pure hunger. He hungered for a fight, and here was one flying into his cold, bloody hands. "Everyone! Targets approaching from the South! You know, from where Drake left his men." He scoffed and said under his breath "Fucking coward..." He quickly regained focus, shouting out orders as the enhanced men began to move at inhuman speeds, setting up mounted guns in mere moments, in two minutes they were ready, standing, waiting. Let the hordes come, they had plenty of bullets to use on them. That and Carnage was going to personally rip those bones from the sky and smash them into metallic dust. Tonight a Hero was going to die. It was going to be Gervus, no one fucking doubt that. Mercy left his soul too long ago for it to matter in the least whether his "scientific value" surpassed his own. He was going to eviscerate and decimate any Undead. No matter how many they make and throw, he will win. There was no doubt of that by any of his men, they had his back as some even looked to him with reverence, saying that he may be mankind's real honor. Some of his men whisper that they should make Carnage the new leader when it all ends. Though Carnage himself admits it won't happen at all, he's psychotic, and too brash. So he stays on the front lines till death do they part.
I have some interest in this if that's alright. When you give me the green flag Ill fire up a CS asap.
