Bio

Biopunk, comic book (still mostly superheroes mind you), fantasy and oddball character aficionado. I'm back and ready to git loogin'. I am a Hufflepuff Primary with a Ravenclaw Secondary. I probably model Gryffindor as a secondary and model Gryffindor primary as well. Those are just my hunches but I bleed black and yellow. Though Pittsburgh can go plug a hole for all I care. My spirit guide is Phoebe Buffay which is awesome and fits me like a glove. For you Meyers-Briggs enthusiasts I'm a ESFP

I write almost every day either as a novel or just as casting for my many idea for RPs or just stories. Theme and genres for RPs are mostly superheroes (any kind prefer original superheroes but not against DC or Marvel at all), fantasy (original ideas get a cut to the front), urban fantasy, and biopunk and most any soft sci-fi. Romance is a great sub genre. School RPs are fine but put a spin on them. I'm now open to anime games, I'm team Digimon 4 lyfe and Ah! My Goddess still holds up. I have realized I totally suck at large RPs mostly because I just can't keep up with them under any circumstances, this was a suspicion I had for a long time and it has just been confirmed. I am a Christian as well, if that fact alone makes you squirm please don't cross my path, I will merely ignore you. If it doesn't welcome to my mind.

@LemonZest1337 I'm thinking nix the sun pantheon. Most sun gods were very authoritative and more or less king of the gods or kinda like Cerise capricious and whimsical. I however think a pantheon involving animals is perfect for Jacob. You might want to contact ayzrules to see if the two of you can come to an agreement on which nature pantheon they lean into more. If that's too much work I can see Jacob picking a pantheon for only a specific type of animal such as fish or amphibians (he's a rain god and I can totally see fish or amphibians benefiting from such a pantheon). However it can be any type of animal.
@ayzrules No problem and will do. Totally love the pic choice, very pensive and calm yet piercing in the eyes. One question however is her nature pantheon, is it more animal based or plant based? I'm guessing plant-based since she's an earth goddess but I need to be sure.
@ayzruleshehehe You guys made a night be fun and not garbage thanks for being good sports. I had a bad day but you guys are cheering me up.
Yeah your two Gods are kinda perfect both as models (and therefore the catalyst to meet Cerise who's a puppetmaster) but also as other tools. Interpret that as you will.

Plus Emma is the adorable mortal that is the audience surrogate.
@LemonZest1337 Very good, sorry about the delay was making an NPC and kinda the whole catalyst on how you're gonna meet the other players.

I turned a negative (everybody in different countries) into a positive a worldwide male model search! This is so not what I expected but I love the cheesiness of it and it's so in character for Cerise. Note this is just a way to meet up you can embrace it or not I'm not demanding anything.

Plus gotta throw in some mortals that are important

Psychology

Gentle * Naive * Optimistic * Trusting

Personality: Emma is Cerise's confidant and assistant, the Pepper Potts to Cerise's Tony Stark. She's loyal, gentle but incredibly naive when it comes to the world. Having lived a sheltered life in Boise for most her life and still new to the whole globetrotting talent scout thing. Emma is a rookie that will be making a lot of mistakes and hopefully learning from them. She has a tendency to get overwhelmed in situations she's not used to but when she's familiar to a scenario she's an ace in the hole to anybody she's working with.

Emma is a trusting young woman. Seeing the best in people is what she's about. Sadly this means she at times sees good in people that clearly isn't there. Plus she thinks the Phantom Menace is the best Star Wars movie. She likes to collect stuffed animals, Funko Pops and cookie cutters.

History

History: Born in Boise, Idaho to a loving family of 4, Emma loved fashion from a very early age. Little did she know she would be working for the biggest fashion firm in the nation alongside Cerise Baptiste... as her secretary, talent scout and gopher. Her current assignment is to... find potential men to fill in the ranks when some of her workhorses jumped ship to Hollywood.

Personal Style: Cerise loves her bohemian chic, mod and Parisian Chic. She finds hipsters and their non-American counterparts suchs as stilyagi out of touch and condescending to “real fashion”. Geek chic is fine but too pop culture entrenched for her to enjoy.

Psychology

Stuck-up * Gentle * Controlling * Motherly

Sexuality: Bisexual (though she hates terms, especially sapiosexual and demisexual, of course you want someone smart and have an emotional bond with sigh)
Relationship Status: Widowed once, married twice, no living kids currently trying to conceive
Personality: Cerise is a woman of foam like Aphrodite herself. She knows it and takes pride in it. She is ambitious yet moral. However her concieted and controlling mindset rubs people the wrong way. The fact she is blunt usually with her employees and strangers doesn't help either. She is a passionate woman and that can't be denied and people will put her over in that regard.

Cerise was a mother and her motherly attitude can shock people who only know the passive aggressive, snooty woman they work for. When Cerise loves, she loves hard, when she hates she hates hard. She also is a gentle woman that while has an acerbic tongue isn't a fighter. People know that they will be safe with her physically since she just doesn't like violence.
Habits: Smokes when nervous, tends not to wear a bra in public
Hobbies: Yoga, pilates, cardio, painting and knitting
Fears:
Being irrelevant
Not living up to her Pantheons
Lacking influence in her expertise

Likes:
Charles Bronson movies (now HE was a heartthrob)
Lambs (I always buy a lamb plushy whenever I go out)
Comic books mostly bandes dessinées (they are so insightful, yet so underrated)
Volleyball
Figure skating
Gymnastics
Board Games
Her jobs

Dislikes:
Modern Art (nobody CARES anymore about quality as long as it creates controversy and cash)
Hipsters (out of touch in the most ironic way)
Cosplay (real art is original, cosplay is merely mimicking someone else's idea)
Insubordination (Authority has its place anybody who doesn't get that is an idiot)
Apathy (I don't care if you hate or love, just do one of them)
People who think lust and love are interchangable (please don't kid me with your mental gymnastics)

Bio: Cerise was born into a wealthy family in Lille, France and decided to move to America when she was 18 to pursue her own fashion line without her family's name (which wasn't known across the pond). She succeeded and eventually married at 24 to a cattle tycoon T Erwin Ragsdale. She had four children with him, including twin girls, however all died before the age of 10. This led to Ragsdale committing suicide and Cerise going into depression. She eventually got out of it miraculously by painting and feeling useful by hooking up her friends with good people she met. She realized this is kinda supernatural, especially when her unofficial facebook page got over 5,000 likes when the paparazzi took a picture of her just out of bed in the most unflattering outfit barely awake. People still found a mother of four sexy? Especially right after waking up? She kinda put two and two together and realized she might be a love goddess in some way. It was far-fetched but a human was bound to mess up and she hasn't.

Cerise has remarried to one of her former star models Randy Reynolds which caused much controversy in the fashion world. The two live in Macon, Georgia but also in Chicago, Illinois. Cerise is currently looking for the next "it" girl and boy for her line as most of her mainstays have quit the business for show business. Something Cerise loathes She is also now focusing on her matchmaking business, hoping it will pick up steam as she finds online dating idiotic.

Family:

Randy Reynolds her current husband and love of her life
@Dark LightI botched posting it hang on. I accidentally used the 0 post and it messed it all up I apologize

edit: posted mine. Can someone explain the zeroth post and why it's there?

PS My character is totes gonna at least TRY to get along with yours. Also I actually loled at his fear of commitment it's so your pantheon.
-This isn't a marketplace, don't go bland: Stories need to be bland in order to be marketable. Rock music no longer has the edge it once had, same with any fiction. Why is GoT so popular? Partially because fantasy got it's edge back with it. Why is Orphan Black so acclaimed despite the small audience? Because it's a hard science fiction story centered on characters not plot like most hard science fiction stories. Between something that's off the beaten the path and one that's safe always go with the beaten path. You're not catering to the masses so you don't need to censor yourself for being weird or off kilter.

-Is your character the person you look up to or the person you wave to across the street?: This is the Marvel vs DC question. Are you like Marvel and focus on characters that are distinct and just like you or are you DC where you focus on archetypes and make them those you feel safe around? There's a reason why Peter Parker lost his everyman mindset in the 90s and early 00s, he no longer became relatable, he just spun his wheels like a high school student. There's a reason why evil Superman's so terrifying apart from his superpowers. Because the beacon of hope you admired for so long and a surrogate father to many... has become the abusive monster people flocked to Superman to save them from. Pick which one your character is and don't blink
Nice work so far keep it up
