Alex found himself at his destination. As the bus departed, he questioned what it would be like. Would it be like the other schools? Or would it be different? In his mind he hoped that it was going to be ok. Either way he'd be prepared. He stood there gazing upon the huge house, after a few minutes he finally found the courage to open the doors.
"Hello? Sorry I'm late..." He said, the voice echoed. He decided to take a quick look around.

And so he felt finally equal. And whenever it was an advantage, he'd disguise his voice as always, and soon his personality followed. Alex quickly learned that when something was unwanted, it was always easier to get into character and hide behind a mask. Like his symbol, he is synthetic. He impersonates something considered more 'valuable' than he is. But, of course, 'value' is like 'beauty': In the eye of beholder.
When not keeping up at act around others, Alex is mostly a quiet and surprisingly passive-aggressive. Probably his idea of karma. He doesn't get the best grades and still gets into the occasional fight. And gets owned. A lot.
There's only so much you can fake.
