@Ninian @Light Lord
As the group prepared to go, Brick made his intentions clear that he would be accompanying him. "Hey, I'm not complaining. But... I doubt he'll be doing TOO much, am I right?" Ember said, moving up alongside Brick. "It makes me feel a bit safer... after all, there's always a chance we could run into whoever attacked you, Devon." She said, bringing up the rear while continuing to hide her injury fairly well.
"Besides, like Ember said, he's probably going to be more of a supervisor, only stepping in when he needs to, as well as showing us the way... I think..." She finished.
After talking a little bit, Hikari managed to convince Fuse to do something he'd never thought he'd ever do. So, the two headed back towards the Guild, stopping at the door before heading on in. "Hey, guys, is the Guildmaster still in his meeting? I... we've got something we need to talk to him about..." He said, looking at the female Luxio next to him.
After heading back into town, the group was directed to the Blue Treeko, which seemed to be a favorite place of the locals for a bite to eat. So they got a table, ordered their food, and now the discussion was back on. "Okay... I won't say they're treating the situation like a complete joke, but so far they don't seem to have taken anything seriously enough either." He said, finally having calmed down a good amount. "Well, you heard what I heard, they're planning on evacuating the town..."
"But where will they go and be safe? Even Valiant Village isn't safe, that's why Spirit and Luna immediately began rallying the townsmon and preparing defenses." Omen explained, remembering the state of their home when they left. There was no chaos, no panic, but a complete cooperation between the Town and the Guild. "Yeah, but they're already used to dealing with things like this. From what I know from walking around, Folio's been fairly secluded from the world for a long time." Krystal explained.
Omen sighed. "Maybe... but there's still the matter of how they're dealing with the situation. They think that by increasing their numbers and evacuating the town they can keep everyone safe. Doing that could only put them in greater danger..." Omen said. "I guess... right now there's one way in and one way out, if you can't fly. That would kinda make it safer to stand your ground where you have the advantage..." Krystal had heard enough. "Just stop already... no matter what you say, they're going to do what they're going to do. So we need to either move on or help out." She said, stomping her foot down on the table, shocking the other two.
