[Shiny Keldeo]

Welcome! If you're reading this, than you decided to drop by for a visit and check out my profile! If not, then why are you still reading this right now?

The name's Keldeo, Shiny Keldeo. I joined the Guild about a two years ago after my first forum fizzled out. I thought I knew what I was doing with Roleplay when I came on the scene, when in reality I had barely scratched the surface of what I had to learn.

My first few RPs went bust, but with each failure I gained valuable experience to learn from, and eventually I started up a fairly successful RP known as Digimon: As the Lights Fade. However, it eventually went bust as over half the RPers, including my Co-GM, poofed and dropped without much warning.

Then came two of my longest running RPs. Pokemon: Legendary Guardians and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Past. Both were filled with great characters and I made a ton of new RP friends in them. Sadly, too many problems arose in both, and I was forced to shut them down.

I wasn't done with Legendary Guardians, however, and rebooted it to try my hand at it once more. So far, it's still going strong, thanks to dedicated people like Ninian and Light Lord, who've helped it stay alive through it all. I'm still not done yet, there's still more creative genius in me waiting to be tapped into!

Roleplay Information

I like to stick to Casual mostly. I've never tried anything in Advanced, but I just can't do anything in Free. I like to include way more dialog and information in my posts than I can post in Free.

I usually prefer to RP with Multiple Characters. It's easier for me to say more and do more, whether that being a Digidestined with a Digimon, a Pokemon Trainer with their Pokemon, or multiples of either.

Speaking of which, there are several subjects to which I usually work with in RP. The biggest being Pokemon. I'm up for (almost) anything, Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, or just being a normal Trainer is completely fine with me. Other interests include Digimon, Star Wars, and various other subjects that would be too numerous to name here.

As the group prepared to go, Brick made his intentions clear that he would be accompanying him. "Hey, I'm not complaining. But... I doubt he'll be doing TOO much, am I right?" Ember said, moving up alongside Brick. "It makes me feel a bit safer... after all, there's always a chance we could run into whoever attacked you, Devon." She said, bringing up the rear while continuing to hide her injury fairly well.

"Besides, like Ember said, he's probably going to be more of a supervisor, only stepping in when he needs to, as well as showing us the way... I think..." She finished.

Fuse the Luxio and Hikari the Luxio
[Folio Town]

After talking a little bit, Hikari managed to convince Fuse to do something he'd never thought he'd ever do. So, the two headed back towards the Guild, stopping at the door before heading on in. "Hey, guys, is the Guildmaster still in his meeting? I... we've got something we need to talk to him about..." He said, looking at the female Luxio next to him.

Omen the Absol, Serenity the Sylveon, and Krystal the Glaceon
[Folio Town - The Blue Treeko]

After heading back into town, the group was directed to the Blue Treeko, which seemed to be a favorite place of the locals for a bite to eat. So they got a table, ordered their food, and now the discussion was back on. "Okay... I won't say they're treating the situation like a complete joke, but so far they don't seem to have taken anything seriously enough either." He said, finally having calmed down a good amount. "Well, you heard what I heard, they're planning on evacuating the town..."

"But where will they go and be safe? Even Valiant Village isn't safe, that's why Spirit and Luna immediately began rallying the townsmon and preparing defenses." Omen explained, remembering the state of their home when they left. There was no chaos, no panic, but a complete cooperation between the Town and the Guild. "Yeah, but they're already used to dealing with things like this. From what I know from walking around, Folio's been fairly secluded from the world for a long time." Krystal explained.

Omen sighed. "Maybe... but there's still the matter of how they're dealing with the situation. They think that by increasing their numbers and evacuating the town they can keep everyone safe. Doing that could only put them in greater danger..." Omen said. "I guess... right now there's one way in and one way out, if you can't fly. That would kinda make it safer to stand your ground where you have the advantage..." Krystal had heard enough. "Just stop already... no matter what you say, they're going to do what they're going to do. So we need to either move on or help out." She said, stomping her foot down on the table, shocking the other two.

Luna Muuya
Torrent the Popplio, Flake the Vulpix, Sola the Bounsweet
[Orre Region - Aether Sanctuary Exterior]

As the trainers around her began to introduce themselves, she barely got a moment to say her piece. "I'm Luna, nice to meet you all..." She said in between the conversations, wondering if anyone even heard her. As the fourth and final bracket winner showed up, a man from the Aether Foundation finally appeared, and began to explain the situation.

Luna seemed relieved but also slightly disappointed. "So I won't be able to use you guys..." She thought, looking at her team around her. She looked back to the man who gave his man as Lucius. "Could we head inside? I can't wait to see what it's like, if it's anything like Aether Paradise in Alola. Besides, it's honestly kind of gloomy out here..." She said, looking nervously around her.

<Yeah, this is really kinda freaky, I don't even see any Bird Pokemon flying around...> Torrent said, seeming just as nervous. <I told you this place was weird... why did Luna come here...> Sola said, looking over to Flake. <Y-you guys are still probably just overreacting. Pokemon live everywhere, we just don't see them... I think...> She said with a fake air of confidence but a clear nervousness.

[Route 701]

Catching the roll of gauze, Lily set right to work in wrapping the Shinx's leg up to prevent further injury. Meanwhile, the Poacher Conversation continued. "I don't think so. The PDs usually kept things under control. But with Royal Skies... I guess that's kind of why the Ranger Union ended up sending some Rangers here." Brent replied.

As Lily tied the knot on the bandaging, the Shinx took a quick sniff at the wrappings. Looking back up at Lily, it suddenly leaped from her lap and dashed back into the forest. "Wait... aw..." Lily sighed as the Electric Type disappeared into the tree line. "Well, I guess it is still a Wild Pokemon... but I wish I could have looked it over a little more..."

Brent raised his arms behind his head and stretched a bit. "All this talk about Poaching is really getting me down..." Brent said. "Let's get going, Vertigo City's waiting for us!" He finished, Lily still looking a bit downcast. "Yeah, alright, let's get going. Ready?" She asked the rest of the group, unaware that the Shinx was still nearby, keeping its distance but watching them.

[Vertigo City - Pokemon Center]

Luna, Sierra, and their Pokemon watched as the Chimera displayed its extreme agility, a feat that was hard for the Pokemon to even track, forget replicate. As the demonstration ended, it left Luna more unsure about such training than before. "Wow... that was intense, like, really intense. There's no way any of them, even Hound, could pull that off anytime soon..."

"Well... he said it was made just for his Pokemon... you'd probably have to come up with something yourself, too." Sierra explained. "Maybe... but what would I do?" She asked.

Her Pokemon were equally unsure. <Well... maybe some kind of track course?> Sola suggested. <How about a race?! A race through the woods! That would be fun!> Hound chimed in. <There could also be balance and leaping, not to mention small sparring matches with each other...> Flake threw into the mix.
Luna Muuya
Torrent the Popplio, Flake the Vulpix, Sola the Bounsweet
[Orre Region - Near Aether Sanctuary]

As she neared the location that was given to her, Luna could almost feel the Butterfrees in her stomach. She was excited, nervous, happy, scared, every emotion you can think of at once. She wondered how she, out of all of the competitors, ended up placing highest in her bracket. Whatever the case, she was there now, in a whole new region she'd never seen before. Along with her were three of her closest Pokemon, Torrent the Popplio, Flake the Vulpix, and Sola the Bounsweet.

"Well... we're finally here... I think that's it up... there..." She said before her mouth gaping in awe of the beautiful structure before her. "Wow, and I thought Aether Paradise was amazing..." She said as she and her Pokemon continued onward.

<It's so weird though... I haven't seen a single Wild Pokemon since we got here... the place just seems... dead...> Torrent said, looking at the surroundings from Luna's arms. <You're right... I'm getting a really bad vibe about this place...> Sola replied from her shoulder. <You seem to be overreacting, surely there are some native Pokemon around here somewhere...> Flake replied, trailing along on the ground next to Luna.

As the group continued their approach, Luna caught sight of a pink haired lady who was taking a picture of the structure. "Um, excuse me, are you one of the other bracket winners?" She asked as she came up.
Luna Muuya

Appearance:

Age: 11 Years Old

Gender: Female

Personality: Luna is generally an outgoing and social girl. She's always ready to lend a helping hand if it's needed, but she won't go completely out of her way to help someone unless they're close to her. She has a lot of enthusiasm, but tends to get discouraged fairly easily. It's only temporary though, and she generally bounces back quickly.

Hometown/Region: Heahea City, Alola

History: Luna was born on Akala Island in the Alola Region. She lived in Heahea City for most of her life, and very much enjoyed the Alolan Culture and Way of Life. She attended the Trainers School on Melemele Island when she was old enough, becoming friends with many trainers there including Lana and Mallow.

Soon she met her first Pokemon, a playful Popplio she met while swimming outside her home in Heahea. Slowly the two formed a close bond, and nearly every day they were out there together. When one day Popplio didn't appear, she got worried and went looking for it.

Looking along the shore, she found it bruised and battered on a rocky coastline. She rushed the injured Pokemon to a Pokemon Center, where it was determined that Popplio had been caught in a storm the night before, and been bashed into the rocky coast.

The Water Type soon made a full recovery, and was grateful to Luna for her kindness and friendship. It began to follow her everywhere, and eventually the two decided to become full partners, with Luna catching Popplio and giving her the nickname Torrent.

The two worked together and began catching and raising Pokemon, adding Flake the Vulpix, Hound the Rockruff, and Sola the Bounsweet to their family. Eventually, she decided to take an Island Challenge Trial, receiving a Z-Ring from the Island Kahuna Olivia and taking the Water Challenge.

After a hard fought battle, they managed to defeat Totem Wishiwashi, and obtained the Z-Crystal of Waterium-Z. After that, though, she reconsidered the Island Challenge after seeing how powerful the Totem's were. As she began to reconsider her options, the Aether Foundation announced they were hosting some sort of Battle Tournament. After discussing it with her Pokemon, she decided to take part in it.

As they made their way through the tournament, she was amazed as she continued to surpass other trainers who had many Z-Crystals and Experience, until, defying all odds, she was selected as one of the top scorers of the Tournament. However, the prize wasn't what she thought.

As it turned out, the Aether Foundation was looking to recruit trainers in order to recover a stolen Pokemon, Type: Null. Equipped with strange gauntlets and devices, she and a small group of trainers were sent off to the far away Orre Region...

Selena the Bayleef and Ember the Quilava
[Folio Town - Entrance to the Trunk]

The two smiled as the group shared a rather heartfelt moment together. "I know we can figure this out together, we'll find a way!" Said Ember, very confidently. "It won't be easy, but I agree that we'll be able to-" Selena started when, with her eyes closed, she felt a sudden force against her that pushed her and Ember to the ground. "Ouch..." Ember replied somewhat casually. "Could have given us a bit of warning..." Ember said with a laugh.

Selena's mind was otherwise occupied with a sudden pain in her left front paw. Taking a look at it, it had a low amber red coloring around what would be her ankle. "Oh no..." She thought, shaken from her thoughts by Ember. "Hey, Selena, you okay? You're zoning out a little." She said. Inconspicuously hiding her injured paw, she replied. "Yeah, sorry, had to catch my breath... that's all... knocked the wind out of me." She answered.

Ember smiled, never the wiser. "Alright, yeah, I didn't see that coming either. Hey Devon, you okay?" She continued on, Selena alone with her thoughts. "Should I have lied... Mom told me never to tell a lie... but I don't want to ruin this for everyone... it's our first adventure together... besides, it doesn't hurt that bad... well... maybe a little... but I can take it." She thought silently while the group recovered.

Omen the Absol and Serenity the Sylveon
[Folio Town - Folio Guild]

Omen couldn't believe what he was hearing. From the sounds of the Flygon Guild Master, he was getting lectured for doing what was right. Well... on one hand, his explanation hadn't been very well spoken... he was never good with words... but what the Guild Master said next really rubbed the disaster Pokemon the wrong way. The Guild Master was going to change nothing about his plans. The anger was starting to seep through, and Serenity saw this. She had to take over.

"I'm... sorry if Omen offended anyone about what he said... he's not the best when it comes with words." She said, taking the floor a little ahead of Omen. "Omen spent a great deal of time speaking with our Guild Masters about the issue. They meditated together, coming to this decision as a group, a family." She explained. "Although not all of the details were clear, we had enough to go off of to know what was going to happen."

Taking a breath, she continued. "We didn't come JUST to help Folio, we came to serve as messengers spreading warning of what would come. From us spread more messengers, so word is spreading quickly." She looked over at Omen, who had his head hung low and eyes shut in anger. "My partner did speak rather quickly about being here to help, and we'll do what we can while we're here. But we're... just the messengers." She finished, looking at the crowd that seemed to be almost glaring at them.

"So... with that said... we need to prepare for our next journey... we'll be in town if you wish to... speak with us for any reason. Let's Go Omen." She said, with a bit of force and emphasis on her last words. Without another word from Omen, he and the Sylveon at his side made their exit, the Glaceon waving kind of awkwardly. "O-kay then... well... bye." She said before darting to catch up with the others.

[Folio Town - Outside the Guild]

After passing by the Guild Guards once more, Omen finally let it loose. "I Can't Believe Them!" He said angrily. "The Apocolypse is Practically on Our Doorstep, and They Don't Seem to Be Taking It Seriously. There's No Running, There's No Hiding!" He said, Serenity trying to calm him. "Easy, maybe they're working harder than you think..."

"No, I Can See What Kind of Community This Is. One Where the Guild Doesn't Trust The Citizens It Swore to Protect. I Just..." He paused, his head turning out towards the desert. "What is it?" Serenity asked. "It Isn't Here. The Focal Point... It isn't here..." He replied, Serenity and Krystal looking at each other with questioning glances. "Never mind. Let's just get some gear, we'll probably just spend the night, then... well... I don't know yet..." He said as the trio headed towards the Town Center.

Fuse the Luxio and Hikari the Luxio
[Folio Town - Observation Post]

The two Electric Types laid side by side as they looked over the vast desert that surrounded Folio. "It's actually been a long time since I've seen the view like this... usually the sandstorm blocked the view, but it stopped a few days ago..." Fuse explained. "It's amazing... it really is breathtaking." She replied.

He sighed. "Look, I don't care how much the clan wants me back. I set out with a purpose, and I still haven't fulfilled it. Until I can do that, I won't go home." He said, Hikari looking at him. "And like I said, I set out with a purpose too, and I'm not going home until I finish that." She replied with a smug smile on her face.

The two sat in silence for a while. "So... how long are we going to sit here?" She asked. "As long as we want, I guess. There's no jobs to do, and the Guild Master hasn't announced any big plans yet... so we pretty much have all day to ourselves." He said. "That works for me!" She finished as they continued looking off across the desert.

The Shinx stopped short when he heard the older boy in the group, caught off guard by the sudden comment. <Y-you say that... but I'm still...> He said with his eyes shut tight. Then he felt a gentle touch on the side of his head. Opening his eyes, he saw the girl who had been coaxing him out gingerly petting him. It was... soothing... not like what his mother did, but it slowly began to calm the cub's nerves. "That's it... see... we're not going to hurt you, we want to help you." She said in a light voice.

When the topic of Poachers came up, Brent crossed his arms and frowned. "Unfortunately it's not that easy with those kind of people. They only want money. The fact that Viore is so diverse and has so many different kinds of Pokemon is just a magnet for them, like a Venomoth to a flame." He said. "And with those Royal Skies yahoos running around, Poachers have had a bit more free reign since the Police are so spread thin." He finished.

Lily had finally managed to bring the Shinx cub in her arms, the young electric type still trembling somewhat. <Maybe... maybe I can trust you...> He said. Lily smiled. "There we go... now let's get you fixed up, this might sting just a little, but it's going to help you." She said, holding up the Orange Spray Bottle and spraying down the Shinx's leg. The cub stifled a yelp as the strange spray came in contact with his wounds, but it soon dissipated. "Hey, Devon, you have any bandages? I wanna make sure this leg is bandaged up good." She said, turning her head to the group to her side.

When Gladion said that she should consider taking part in the Vertigo Contest, Luna shook her head. "I think I'll pass on the contest, all the flash and glamour just doesn't sound like my cup of tea." She said, her Pokemon stopping (Even Hound) and looking up at her. "It's gonna be really fun. It's just putting on a show for people and having fun with your Pokemon." Sierra said, causing Luna to look over. "Well... maybe... I don't know..."

Sola closed her eyes and sighed. <That sounds about right... truth is Luna doesn't really know what she wants to do here in Viore.> The grass type replied.

Then the talk of training came up again. "Wow, that sounds really serious... I don't know if we'd be ready for stuff like that... well... maybe Hound..." She said, as Hound had continued his rampage in a nearby bush.

<She does have a point... perhaps... a demonstration?> Flake asked, looking at the Silvally.

Hearing the deep tone of the large black and red fox did little to calm the small Shinx's nerves. <Y-you don't know what happened...> He replied on shaky legs, keeping an eye on the older human who knelt down next to the girl, handing her some strange item. "A Super Potion... thanks." She replied, holding out the healing potion in a way where she couldn't use it, but it would show the young electric type that it wasn't dangerous. "It's okay, really, this will help your pain go away. Please... let me help you..." She urged, not making any sudden moves or advances.

Brent stepped back with the other kids to watch from afar. "Lily's taking it really carefully, that's smart. Like Nasir said, my brother told me that some of the most dangerous Pokemon aren't the most powerful, it's the ones that are hurt and scared." He said.

When she heard her name, Shaymin took a close look at the electric type, then floated back. <I think I remember him... he lived farther back in the woods, in a small clearing, with his mother... a Luxray who had a weird color...> Shaymin said to the Pokemon around her. <Weird Color? She must have been Shiny... from what I hear, Shiny Pokemon are super rare and valuable...> Chikorita replied.

The Shinx began to pace back and forth in front of the bush. He couldn't decide whether to trust these Humans or to make a mad dash for it through the woods. His paw hurt so badly, and the girl seemed nice enough... she didn't act like the man who had attacked them... she seemed to be truthfully kind. Slowly the Shinx limped forward still unsure. <I-I'm still not sure... but... you really seem nice... maybe...> He said, cautiously moving towards Lily.

Gladion commented about training and himself needing to make a new team, causing Luna to slightly smile. "That's very kind of you to ask... thank you..." She said, her Pokemon looking between themselves as they looked at the now laid down Silvally.

"The Contests? Yeah, they're definitely hosted a lot differently than Gym Battles." She said. "While Gym Leaders can be challenged whenever their available, Contests are hosted at certain times. I've heard in other regions they're hosted once a year at each location. Here in Viore, because there are so few Contest Halls, they're usually hosted once a month or so as long as conditions are right." She explained. "And... I guess that's a good way to put it... Anyways, the Vertigo Contest is the first one of the year here. I wonder who else will participate..." She finished.

Finally Sola spoke after being quiet for a while. <I'm not mad, and I'm not too worried. After a nap Torrent is usually fine... but your trainer makes a good point, some training could really benefit us.> She said, looking at the group. <That is true... none of us have even reached out next evolution yet.> Flake said, nearly being pushed over by Hound. <Oh yeah! I'd be up for some training! Always ready, always!> He said at a mile a minute before bounding off again.

Selena the Bayleef and Ember the Quilava
[Folio Town - Entrance to the Trunk]

The flustered Kirlia's reply was hard for Ember to comprehend. But she went along and at least acted like she understood what Lilisette meant. Selena hung on every word, trying to piece together what she was trying to explain. There was one thing that kept hitting her. She kept referring to where she was as 'When' she was. "So... you're from... the future?" She asked, suddenly remembering what she had said the day before when discussing Celebi. "Oh... Oh my... I'm... I'm sorry, I didn't... what I said yesterday... must have hit you so hard..." She said, referring to the event.

"But so... you have... what was it called... Amnesia too?" Asked Ember, causing Selena to look up again. "That's true... so I'd be careful. Even if you think you remember something... it might not be right..." Selena replied, a deep look of concern on her face. "My mom also said not to try to force memories to come back. Just let them come back on their own." She finished.

Fuse the Luxio and Hikari the Luxio
[Folio Town - The Blue Treeko]

The silence finally broke. "Ligero... we are still friends, right?" Hikari asked, causing Fuse to look up and meet her gaze. "Why... why would you even ask that, Hikari? Of course we are. It doesn't matter how long we're apart, that friendship will last forever. That flower is proof." He replied, Hikari looking up at the flower on her head. "That's right... you gave me this, and said as long as it stays in bloom, our friendship would last. And it never wilted..." She said.

The two became silent for a moment, staring down at empty plates. "I always keep my word, Hikari. That's something that will never change." He said. The female Luxio smiled.

After Servine took away the empty dishes and the bill was paid, the two headed for the outskirts. "I want to show you this place, it's got the best view in all of Folio." He said as they approached the Observation Platform.

Omen the Absol and Serenity the Sylveon
[Folio Town - Glyphs Guild]

After a few moments they were addressed by a Heliolisk who, to them, seemed completely reject their offer and disgrace their noble intent. Serenity was clearly hurt by the words, it was a rare event that help would be turned down in a time of need. Omen looked up and locked eyes with the Electric Type. "Had we believed that you were capable of fully defending Folio and its citizens, of no disrespect to any of you, we would have stayed back on the Grass Continent. But this... something is off about this..."

He closed his eyes. "It feels almost like time and space have been warped... and then there's the darkness I sense... deep below Folio..." He opened them. "Our Guild is more than prepared to defend our village. There are few Dungeons near it, and our Guild will stand firm against any attack." He said.

"And the people we care about most are right here with one another." Serenity finally said, Krystal finally popping her head into the scene. "I'm... interrupting something important... aren't I?" She asked, Serenity shaking her head. "No, you're just in time." She replied, Krystal taking a spot next to her sister.

Omen took the floor once more. "We've been travelling across the Grass and Sand Continents, warning Guilds and Organizations about what would come. Some force I doubt even Arceus could explain drew us here. And, like it or not, we're here now, and we'll do what we can for the people of Folio." Omen Finished.

The group had all eyes trained on the bush now. After the experience last night, they were on edge for anything. Then came a sound from whatever was in the bush. To the humans, it sounded like a low growl. To the Pokemon, it was something much more. <S-stay back... I-I mean it... I d-don't want to fight...> Came the voice from the bush. The two Pokemon on the ground lessened their guard and looked at each other. <That doesn't sound like something big and bad...> Cyndaquil said. <Yeah... hey... who are you? We aren't here to fight you... Nasir, drop your barrier.>

The bush rustled a bit more, and a form finally emerged. It was a Shinx, a very young one at that. <Y-you promise?> The Shinx said as it emerged. "Phew, it's just a Shinx. They're really common in this area." Brent said, turning to walk off. "Wait. Look at it..." Lily said, making Brent take a second glance at it as Lily held up her Pokedex. "Shinx, the Flash Pokémon. When it senses danger, the hairs on its body light up and it runs away, leaving its opponent dazed." The machine replied with the 3D Image of the Pokemon. "Look how beat up it looks..." She pointed out.

Brent turned and looked at it again, seeing the small Flash Pokemon covered in bruises, and with a limp in its front left paw. <You don't look so good... are you okay?> Asked Cyndaquil, taking a step forward which caused the Shinx to step backward. <Cyndaquil, wait. It's okay, Shinx, you can trust us...> The Shinx shook its head nervously, keeping its eyes on the Humans. <H-how do I know that? After what that man did to my...> It started, but it backed up another step, stepping on its front left paw and wincing from the pain.

Lily watched the young electric type wince, and would then kneel down with her hands visible, unable to watch the pained Pokemon suffer any longer. "It's okay... I won't hurt you. That must really hurt, doesn't it? I can help you." She said in a light voice, keeping eye contact and keeping her hands out and visible. The scared Shinx looked at her, not yet trusting but curious.

Torrent still isn't ready to handle such a powerful move... as you can see it takes just about everything she has.> She said. The white Vulpix stepping forward next to her. <Sola acts like the mother of our group. She really cares about the well being of everyone.> Flake replied.

<Well someone has to... Arceus knows Hound isn't going to anytime soon...> She said, Hound poking his head out from behind a bush. <What?> He asked blankly. <You have a point there...> Flake replied.

"You really think so? They helped me pass my first Trial... barely... I'm not sure if we're really ready for many challenges yet..." She said, gingerly rubbing the top of Torrent's head. "I'm not sure about my first Contest here, but I'm still going to give it everything I've got. I've waited so long for this chance, I have to give it my all, for me and my Pokemon." Sierra said, kneeling down next to her Pokemon.
