I would say if your character isn't directly associated with what's going on in the Guild to go ahead and post if you want.

Welcome! If you're reading this, than you decided to drop by for a visit and check out my profile! If not, then why are you still reading this right now?
The name's Keldeo, Shiny Keldeo. I joined the Guild about a two years ago after my first forum fizzled out. I thought I knew what I was doing with Roleplay when I came on the scene, when in reality I had barely scratched the surface of what I had to learn.
My first few RPs went bust, but with each failure I gained valuable experience to learn from, and eventually I started up a fairly successful RP known as Digimon: As the Lights Fade. However, it eventually went bust as over half the RPers, including my Co-GM, poofed and dropped without much warning.
Then came two of my longest running RPs. Pokemon: Legendary Guardians and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Past. Both were filled with great characters and I made a ton of new RP friends in them. Sadly, too many problems arose in both, and I was forced to shut them down.
I wasn't done with Legendary Guardians, however, and rebooted it to try my hand at it once more. So far, it's still going strong, thanks to dedicated people like Ninian and Light Lord, who've helped it stay alive through it all. I'm still not done yet, there's still more creative genius in me waiting to be tapped into!
Roleplay Information
I like to stick to Casual mostly. I've never tried anything in Advanced, but I just can't do anything in Free. I like to include way more dialog and information in my posts than I can post in Free.
I usually prefer to RP with Multiple Characters. It's easier for me to say more and do more, whether that being a Digidestined with a Digimon, a Pokemon Trainer with their Pokemon, or multiples of either.
Speaking of which, there are several subjects to which I usually work with in RP. The biggest being Pokemon. I'm up for (almost) anything, Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, or just being a normal Trainer is completely fine with me. Other interests include Digimon, Star Wars, and various other subjects that would be too numerous to name here.

I wish they would at least have said something so I know to open the slot up again. This is the main problem, or curse I should say, I've had with this RP in particular. Early on people just drop without any word or warning, which is why it's never gotten farther than the second town/city.

As Drip sat there, Rick mentioned Kale meeting up with the Swords of Justice. She didn't have an answer, Kale said he was just going out on patrol, so he might have found them. Then he mentioned the Stargate, very nonchalantly as well. "It shouldn't have... they sealed it before... we have to find some way to close it, before it does get out of hand..." She stopped for a moment, forcing back a tear. "I-I don't want any Pokemon to go through what I personally went through. I lost... everything... my friends... my family... my home... and they're never coming back..." She said, touching the Coral Charm Necklace around her neck before sighing and going quiet.
Not long after, Kale returned from wherever he had gone. "Just back for a second, gotta let Arnold know something." He said, walking past the two while noticing how somewhat downcast the two were. He'd have to wait for that though, as he stepped into the Guild in search of the Guild Master. "Arnold, I got some more news for ya!" He called out, hoping the Guild Master would come to him.

Her question was now answered, but she was more unsure about her decision than before. It seemed Ember was not a Trap Buster, but a Trap Maker. Although, he didn't seem very good at it, as his failure on the Tropius showed. Before she could say another word he was off like a shot, and by the time she'd gotten to her feet he was gone. "Ember? Where'd you go?" She called out, heading in the direction she thought he had gone. She caught sight of a Pokemon turning into an alley just down the street, and while he was too big to be Ember, maybe he knew where he had went.
As she came up to ask, she turned the corner and saw the Pokemon, a Scolipede, about to attack Ember with a Poison Tail. "Ember! Look Out! Run!" She cried out, catching the attention of several Pokemon heading that way already. "Did you hear that? Come'on, let's check it out!" A voice cried out, and the sound of footsteps could be heard quickly approaching the alleyway.

1: Abysmal has said that he will always be accepting unless there is an ungodly amount of players already in it.
2: The Human Character Slots are all filled up, so the character would have to be a Pokemon native to the world. Doesn't have to be a team, but it can. And most CS's were accepted prior to this OOC being made in the interest check or via PM. So that's why there.
3: I'm not 100% sure on the Pokemon Restrictions myself, it hasn't been a hot topic yet. As far as I know, Major Legends (Ex. Creation Trio, Tao Trio, etc...) are a definite no. Minor ones, like the Swords of Justice I'm using, will probably go through a bit more picking and prodding before a decision is made.

@Nuriko Absolutely. That's why I added the tag for your Hometown and Region. Your character can be from any of the current 7 Regions, as well as the custom one the RP takes place in.

@Lugia I've got an Idea too. It's really "Ex Machina"y but embarrassing for Ember at the same time.
