Oh don't get me started on the whole Chris Pratt as Mario thing. I love him, but this is a blatant middle finger to the voice over community and it's definitely being felt. All my buddies are livid.

As a GM I love when people get excited and do that (as long as they're not doing anything game breaking). Getting excited and passionate for characters and the story is what it's all about! I love it.

"I'd like a job which requires as little interaction with people as possible. Which one of those options would be best for that?" She asked him. The less people she had to speak to, the less she had to come up with lies and ways to trick people or make them talk about something besides where she's from. "And yes, I figured the clothes would have to go."
Amber

A sigh of relief made its way out of Amber's mouth. Despite the fact that he had told her she sounded crazy, he believed her, and that meant that she had at least one person she could trust a little bit at the moment, and he seemed like he would help her. She nodded in response to what he said. "I think that's a good idea."
Amber

Amber nodded, but still hesitated before beginning. "To put it bluntly, I'm from the future. At least, I assume this is the past. At any rate, if we're in the time period that I think we are, judging by the lack of technology, about six or seven hundred years in the future, I'm part of an experiment to test humanities first actual attempt at time travel. I was supposed to go into the future, but something went wrong and I ended up back in time. None of my technology works, and I'm stuck here." She explained. "I know you'll probably think I'm crazy, but that's the truth. If you tell anyone, it could change history and endless paradoxes would happen, and the universe would never have existed." She sincerely hoped he understood the gravity of the situation, and believed her.

She frowned deeply as she stared at the man, trying to determine whether or not she should risk it. If she didn't tell him, who knows what would happen. She could be killed, or imprisoned. Not that she would blame him. If she were in their position, she would probably do the same thing. Then again, if she did tell him, he might not believe her and she'd end up killed or imprisioned anyway, or he'd run off and tell everyone and end the world. There was, of course, the chance that neither of these things would happen. Amber hesitated for a moment before speaking. "If I tell you, you must not tell anyone else without my consent, for two reason. One, if you tell anyone else they'll probably consider me insane and I'll get locked up. Two, if the wrong people find out about this, it could cause the entire universe to implode."
Amber

Amber sighed and tried to focus on the task at hand. "My name is Amber Varges, I am a scientist, and my reason for being here is I got lost. I'm. . . Not exactly from around here. To be honest, I have absolutely no idea where I am." She replied, deciding to leave out the time travel bit. She may end up having to tell him eventually, but she was going to hold off for as long as she could.
Amber

She sighed and sat down, thinking about what she could say. She didn't think he was stupid enough to fall for any lie she could come up with, but she couldn't tell him the truth. He'd never believe her anyway. Amber was startled out of her thoughts when she heard a scratching noise and looked over to see a strange creature she'd never even heard of before. "What is that???" She asked or of shock.
Amber

Good job, Amber. You've been here a total of ten minutes at the most and you've already managed to get yourself arrested. She scolded herself internally. On the bright side of things, he didn't look like he was going to kill her. However, now she had other problems. Obediently she started got in front of him and started walking. She couldn't tell him that she was from the future. If she did, it could cause irreparable damage to the time continuum and history could be changed, causing paradoxes upon paradoxes, and the eventual degrade of the entire universe.
~Time Skip~

Amber was currently walking/sneaking in the streets of the city, looking out for any trouble as she did so. She sighed, things seem pretty quiet right now. There had been a string of crimes in this area lately, so she figured she'd scout it out and see if she could catch the criminals in the act for the authorities. By that, she meant she'd knock them out and tie them up so the police could come put them in jail.
Amber

Amber flinched as she heard a voice suddenly speak to her, and it wasn't a very friendly voice either. She looked at who the voice belonged to and the first thing that caught her eye was a spear. Amber was still disoriented from the travel, and she couldn't think clearly. Should she run? She doubted she could outrun him in this state. Try to talk to him? "I-Um. . ." Something had obviously gone wrong. She was in the past, not the future! "I. . . I'm a bit lost. I didn't realize I was trespassing." She replied to him. Well, she wasn't lying.
Amber nodded. "Actually I'm probably going to be out late tonight too, so ditto if you get back before me." She replied before starting to eat her food as quickly as possible, checking the time as She did so. He was right, She was pushing her luck. But it would be the first time She had been late since she got here, so she probably wouldn't get in trouble for it. . . She hoped. At any rate, as soon as She was done She got up and put her dishes in the sink. "Well, see you later I guess." She said as she grabbed my bag.
