Oh, definitely - some trade is direct, for sure. But Zhodul is kind of a "center of the known world" for a lot of the same trade you'd get in Ardonia anyway. Some merchants could profit by going as far as Ardonia, though, so they can buy directly from one market and sell in their homeland (and vice versa).

I'm willing to present the same character, and I can post 1/week as before. It sounds like you're focusing more on the Iron Kingdoms specifically, though that's not a terrible thing for me.

Would you want my character to walk in with a clean slate (I.E. the adventures that she got started on before the first thread poofed)? Would you want me to assume part of that storyline was still true / had happened (robbing secrets from a dark lord's castle)? I'm cool with either.

I love both versions, though - they've got very different emotions they rise up. But now I've got some ideas flowing...

Yeah, I can't say I prefer one over the other too much. They're both great for very different reasons.

But yeah, typical internet composer shit is what I find most often when I search using keywords instead of actual band names. I try to find stuff that'd fit in the Medieval era because I listen to themed music when I write.

I knew about Flogging Molly already, but I'd... I'd forgotten the name. So that link was incredibly helpful.

Speaking of ardonia, I think its fair to say that they and farastine are pretty close. Both are peaceful and heavy trade players. Plus the distance is far enough for religion to clash much. (something I need to update honestly.)
