MOVE OVER! I'm taking that robot.
Banned for being the upteenth person to ban me for that same reason and making me regret being a filthy trickster.
Loving the map with the rivers added.

Will adjust my claim around them when the OOC comes.
"FREEBIRD!"
I have to admit, I'm a little surprised we never got any elves or Imperial soldiers. I'd probably have made an Imperial if I'd realized that'd be the case.

Bjorn will do just fine, however.

I'm interested in seeing how our resident hobby's gonna be offed.
Banned for being a skeleton whose skull can wink. Seriously, what the Hell, man?
I am REALLY looking forward to posting here, so here's the good news: tonight is my last exam. I take it at 7 p.m. After that, guess who's gonna write the first IC post if there ain't one up yet?

THIS GUY.

And it's going to be about an old hobbit dying.

...Huh.

In case anyone's curious about the music that will start the post off.

Huh, interesting. I was not aware of that fact.

Honestly, the impact on mood in general is a really cool thing about sound... and light... and our senses in general, really. It's all the little things that help make an environment a place you want to stay in.

For instance, I just wrote a research paper on the effects of light on fear, and my research had my stumbling into a lot of stuff on how different kinds of light can increase or decrease anxiety, or how street lights reduce fear of crime even when they don't reduce crime itself. It's pretty neat stuff. (Fun fact, though: fluorescent lights are apparently shit for your mood / stress. IIRC they make you feel drained.)
Research on sound and the use of sound to produce good feels all over the New Hope is probably a thing, but that'd be part of their atmospheric adjustments in general. You know: lighting that relieves stress or helps you focus on your task, whichever is necessary given the room; music which calms the mind; smells that help you relax; etc. That's one of the ways the Namilee are coping, certainly.

Using sound as a weapon would work on land, but as it'd be totally ineffectual in space... Yeah. They might end up weaponizing sound, but for now they're sticking with electromagnetic and kinetic forces, things like that.

I feel like the X'Cor and Namilee will be encountering each other a lot, either by Oin or the War fleet. Hopefully, Oin a good portion of the time. But the Empire must strike back.

Probably.

Is Oin on a mission to find them, then?
