The following is just a little quote to show that I AM, in fact, working on my CS for the Goddess of Magic and Emotions, and not just dicking around. This comes from her Personality section:

"Suela is not the contemplative, wise being that the ignorant so often assume her to when they hear the words "Goddess of Magic." She is certainly intelligent, and can have bursts of invention when she finds inspiration, but that is not what makes her heart beat, that is not what makes her draw breath.

No, the nature of Suela is not the wise scholar, but rather, the creative artist. The nature of Suela is passion. Like a quick-burning flame, the Queen of Passion is fueled by the energy of the world. She feels the love and hate of each living creature, and revels in it's beauty.
This has consequences, of course. Someone may, in a fit of rage, murder an innocent. But Suela would not care: the action means nothing to her. All that matters is the feeling, and when mortals are consumed with those feelings, then the Goddess is pleased. If generosity drives them to save lives, good. If anger makes them harm others, so be it."

I keep mentioning Nahash, but she'll love Suela, for that much at least.

"FIGHT ME!"
"YOU FIGHT ME!"
"YOU FIGHT ME FIRST!'
"RAAAAAGH HONOR"
"YARRHARR SHIVER ME OCEANIC TIMBERS!"

That's how the serpent cults retell it, anyway.
Nahash does favor desperate underdogs...
Random thing Nahash might say that might piss off Kilgarrah, which I doubt I'll get a chance to use:

"One has to wonder, when their lord crafts a species in his image and rewards those who would slay them: Is this hubris, or self-loathing?"
Nahash tries to create a god. Having no idea what she's doing, she rips off handfuls of her snakes and just sort of throws them into a bowl and hopes for the best.

But yes, mythological 'birth' was my thought as well; logic need not apply.

EDIT: Nine years for me as well, more or less.
Is Nahash the goddess of wisdomZ

Folk wisdom and cleverness, mainly, but wisdom itself isn't truly her domain, no.

You know how boring the ocean gets when so few people make use of it? When you're a deity in charge of that part of the world, you gotta make your own entertainment and not screw yourself over in the process.

Never invite Nahash into the ocean, she'll make everything exciting and it'll suck.
I'm interested in what Kilgarrah thinks of Nahash.

I like it a lot overall, but one issue: if she's the Goddess of the mind, shouldn't she also be somewhat of a patron to scholars and intellectual types? Afterall, they use their mind more than anyone.

Aye, I didn't give that as much focus as I should have, it was one of my thoughts as well. Due to the double nature of her domain-dipping into both the mind AND temptation- it's likely that scholars and learned men might be more likely to turn their prayers towards magic, intelligence, and wisdom deities. She's certainly extremely intelligent, but she more embodies 'the mind' in the sense of raw emotion, human thought, and the senses. She'd favor the guileful trickster over the learned man who sits with his books, because the man who travels and plies his tricks interests her more than a studious one, even if they have a small place in her domain.
There it is, then. Thank you.
