Girl
Name:
Enoki Romi
Age:
Sixteen
Appearance:
Years of brushing and special care made Romi's natural curls loose, letting her sandy shoulder-length hair come down in a wavy fashion. Her complexion doesn't particularly stand out on the other hand, although she spent the rest of her pocket money on facial care in case of the dreaded pimple invasion. She's never seen without her blue wire-framed glasses which may give a distorted impression that her eyes were little more than chocolate buttons.
As for the base form, She finds herself wearing a pair of dark, detached sleeves that clings to her arms well as pale leotard and boots of matching pale colour.
Personality:
Despite her appearance Romi isn't one for studies. Her academics and athletics mark reside around the middle of the class, and tends to spend her free time chatting online or surfing the web. She possesses a lively inner monologue that comes out easier with her fingers on a keyboard than her lips and tends to stutter the first few words of her spoken sentences.
She has a fondness for literature; writing more so than reading. Whether it is due to this or not she isn't sure, but it became a common habit of hers to start creating fictitious scenarios stemming from rumours or curiosity of the world around her.
Backstory:
Perhaps the most interesting thing that happened in Romi's life was learning to use the computer. It was halfway through the year when she got into junior high. She had often found herself writing about things she heard or found interesting and fleshing out those with speculations and amusing events that her mind could come up with. These would be written down in the corners or halfway down the pages of her exercise book during class and her free time.
One school day she left her seat to get lunch, and was greeted by a huge crowd of students around her desk when she came back. One of the students had her exercise book up to one of the stories she had written before about the adventures of a stray cat and Hasegawa Taro, a guy in the class next door whom she saw a few mornings back. Needless to say that was one of the most embarrassing day of her life, though that did cause an awkward situation where classmates wanted her to write stories of them, even the ones she never talked to before.
After school that day, she locked herself in her room still red and blushing about it all when her father knocked, asking what was going on. She told him, and after a moment of thinking silence he presented her with his old laptop, telling her to store it there where people will have lesser chance of finding out, giving her a spark of encouragement to continue pursuing her hobby of writing.
From that point on she learnt about what computers can do and eventually stumbled upon the internet, finding out that most of her classmates also went online from time to time. It was also a place where she saw countless writings by others just like her with their very own stories, freely posting for others to see without revealing who you are! It seemed like an incredible place and by the time she turned sixteen there was no place like the internet for Romi.
Regalia:
Spinel Regalia
Regalia
Name:
Spinel Regalia
Title:
"The Twisted Tales of Imagination!"
Appearance:
On top of the base form is a sleeve-less one-piece dress exploding with a white kerchief around the collar. A circle of lines making a globe is sewn on the bottom left corner of the skirt of the dress. The dress itself may change shade depending on the user, turning into a blue-grey hue when worn by Romi. The dress comes down just enough to hide the leotard from view, and after leaving a small strip of thigh bare the white thigh-highs hide any excess skin down to the boots with a matching shade to the dress.
Romi's hair bleaches white with a blue-grey gradient on top, shortening at the back but leaving her side-fringe down to her shoulders.
Abilities:
Spinel Regalia makes up to three spheres of glowing energy to orbit around Romi. These energy are extremely hot to touch, almost like plasma. She can meld these together to form various objects in her hand whether it be a baton made of energy or an energized bat, etc. The regalia protects Romi from the energy in this form. It also allows Romi to control these spheres enough to deflect projectiles that aren't super fast, and can also be used to batter at things in close proximity. The spheres lose their charge when too far from the regalia.
Alternatively Romi can aim her weapon at a target which allows her to fire a ray of energy at the target, depleting one of her spheres which won't reanimate until next time she transforms again.
Weapon:
Flip-open cell phone with a camera. The main use is to point at a target to fire a ray, but can also be used to take normal pictures and serve as a flash light too for lighting the place or making a vicious flash to temporarily blind others.
