Silence, all but the engine of the train causing the compartments to jostle forward. The trip had finally begun. Even though it was obvious all three of the occupants of this compartment had every right to be excited, they all still sat in silence. Brady had scant started to settle into his own peace, before Lara caught his eye. Trying not to be obvious, Brady stole a few looks. It seemed the girl was nervous about something, almost having an internal debate with some hidden other person.

As she spoke, Brady raised his head and smiled at her question, "I wouldn't mind at all." Brady responded, with a soft smile and a firm, yet quiet tone. In truth, he loved cats dearly, and had almost wished he had gotten one. Stone was a good pet, though, and Brady couldn't wait until he got to Hogwarts to see him. Instead of taking him home every year, Brady had arranged a situation for Stone to stay at Hogwarts year round, giving Brady's current living situation.

"What's your cat's name?" Brady spoke up, in his same gentle yet strong tone, looking towards the gentle mewling coming from the carrier. He figured it was the polite thing to ask, and if there was one thing Brady could always enjoy, it was animals. He also figure it'd be a nice bit of conversation that might serve to put Lara at ease. Even to someone like Brady, he could tell Lara was nervous, something he had been all too familiar with. Luckily, he was very good at hiding his own anxiety. Talk to people about what they like. Brady thought, as he smiled down at the beautiful looking feline Lara had brought on the train with her.
Otto von Habsburg

Disgust instantly filled Otto's stomach. Despite this, he managed a strong, practiced smile. His mage's mind was pushed to the rear of his head, replaced instead by the mind of a man who had made his life in the political and public spheres. "I appreciate that you enjoyed the party, madam." Otto replied, allowing a practiced amount of his German accent to show, something he knew drove most typical American girls crazy, "I hate to admit it, but I've always had a small taste for American whiskey. It also helps that American bars are much more a proper peaceful experience than the halls back in Austria." Otto lied, turning his smile into a sheepish one. Otto fully detested the situation, now. A starstruck admirer was a case he had dealt with many times before, and he was no more receptive of such a situation than he had been before.

"Unfortunately, tonight's party has been cancelled. The automated calls went out not to long ago." Otto began to explain, allowing his smile to falter slightly, to express his sorrow and regret at the situation. "Unforeseen circumstances. Terrible situation, really. The manse's current condition isn't one I'd like to present to such esteemed guests.." Otto went on, taking a sip from his whiskey. This was making him physically ill. Having to disregard his current situation with Archer to answer this lackluster exchange of niceties was wearing on him.

Pushing himself from his stool, glass of whiskey gently held in his right hand. "I'm afraid I did not get your name, madam." Otto stretched out a hand to the young woman, after making his way to her. Appearances were everything, even now in the midst of a Grail War. If this woman had been at his party, then it was likely that there was someone important she knew, or her herself was important. Although the fact that her body seemed to scream out in anxiety at Otto's presence seemed to suggest that she was someone of inconsequential worth.

There was still something nagging. Something. Something distant in the back of his brain. Something he had pushed to the back of his head. It was screaming at him to see something he wasn't even consciously aware of. Shouting to discover some secret that hadn't even made itself obvious, yet.

Hey, just checking in. Still working on my bio. Hopefully will have it out tonight or tomorrow.
@unicorgi

Is it currently your turn in our interaction, right now?

Recovering, Brady straightened himself, the only evidence of his total embarrassment was the neon-shade of red his cheeks had taken. Muttering a thousand different apologies under his breath, he shuffled more into the compartment, pulling the door shut behind him in order to prevent anymore potential embarrassment.

Finally, now given the peace, Brady glanced around the compartment. Miley and....Lara? It sounded right, but he wasn't totally sure that was her actual name. He was familiar with her face, though. "Yeah, I'm fine." Brady muttered in response to the two of them, placing his suitcase on the ground as he did so. Looking towards Lara, he only could feel his face getting redder "I-I didn't mean for that to happen. Hope I didn't hurt you, or anything." Stretching out a hand towards Lara, Brady began to make his introduction, "I know Miley and I have met before, but I don't think we have. I'm Brady." Smiling as he spoke and prepared to shake her hand. He had to do something polite to make up for his earlier faux pas.

Finally gathering himself and taking a seat besides Miley, Brady smiled at her. "Glad to see you, Miley." Brady spoke softly. There were definitely worst companions one could have on the train ride to Hogwarts. He was lucky to have Ravenclaws, and even further lucky to have Miley and Lara. It would be a good ride to Hogwarts, this year.

Yeah, I'm about to pass out. Give me about 6 hours, and I'll work on my post. I hope that doesn't bother @Royaletutor59 and @unicorgi
I'll wait for @unicorgi to post before posting.
@Royaletutor59

Brady ran into Lara, I hope that is okay!

If it's not I can edit!

Shoving. Lots of shoving. Brady pushed himself throw the throngs of the students that now inhabited the hallway of the rail car. He knew where his favorite room was. It was a specific one. Unfortunately, he was late today. Normally, in his past 3 years, he was the first one in the railway room before anyone else.

As Brady made himself through the throng of students, muttering apology's where he could and brushing past others, all he could think about was the coming year. Last year, he had been the star Hufflepuff Quidditch player. The fact that he lacked a lot of wizarding talent seemed to be forgotten in light of his sheer talent for Quidditch. He could only look forward to the year with a mixture of caution and excitement.

As he moved further into the hallway, suitcase in his hand, Brady was shoved violently forward. Likely by a Slytherin. Luckily, he was shoved for his potential compartment, the one he had occupied all these years. Unfortunately, there was a girl standing in the door way, seemingly talking to another occupant of the compartment.

Barreling forth from the shove, Brady ended up planted his head directly into the back of the girl speaking into the compartment, only having time for his cheeks to redden for the impending embarrassment that was sure to follow. He could only hope that he did not fall in a heap on top of the hapless girl.
