Salutations humans and other inhabitants of planet earth! I have many names, but the one I wish to be known by in this place is Dawn. As the title of this post so cleverly (if I do say so myself) states, I am an "Old Hand" when it comes to the wonder of the world that is Roleplay, but I have only experienced it over text or Facebook. At the behest of one of my comrades, I decided to investigate this particular outlet of Roleplay, and am thusly, a bit out of my depth. Therefore, please treat me kindly.

As you may have already noticed, I fancy a more varied vernacular. If my speech is too obscure for you to comprehend, I advancely express my deepest condolences, and invite you to alert me so that I may remedy the situation.

I am also under the impression that it would be beneficial to both myself and yourself that I inform you that while I may not always embody the main attributes of my Star Sign, the Scorpion, do not assume that I am the exception. Often, the case is that my, quirks, that come with being a Scorpio appear while writing or engaged in a Roleplay. I do not jest. You have been expressly forewarned.

As for my personal tastes in Roleplay, I find myself more enticed by the fantasy genre, though you would be wise not to assume that this entails that I only participate in the aforementioned genre. I do enjoy the occasional, "Slice of Life" Roleplay, and though they have been few and far between in my previous encounters, I am not opposed to the "Science Fiction" genre of Roleplay.

I prefer to Roleplay in what I've found is commonly known as the "Writing" or "Author" format, using quotation marks for speaking and such. The Point of View I Roleplay from varies depending on the Roleplay, however.

I am hesitant when it comes to mature content in a roleplay, and will not participate in a Roleplay that is only, pardon my FanFiction vocabulary, lemons. I am alright with, and even enjoy a bit of lemon zest however, as long as it does not completely overpower the storyline.

Okay, I'm done being fancy. I don't actually talk/write/Roleplay like that. At least not all the time. The only thing I have left to say, is I don't like foul language. I personally see it as a sign of low intelligence and a small vocabulary. If you can only use the same four-letter words for everything, how smart are you?

Actually, I lied. A few more things. I prefer one in one Roleplays, may take a while to respond, and in fantasy type Roleplaying, I hate God Modding. It's annoying.

Kay, that's all!
