Hearing the noises of approaching enemy units, sorom was successful in getting traps in the right places. Using the cover of the warm night he was able to easily hide the traps from the enemey (+5 bonus).
It seemed the perfect place to hide wbehind some rocks and trees. From there they could see a little bit of the clearings edge while listebung to the parade of footsteps of both bugs and humans.
Gallade and Ralts found themselves in perfect synchronization as their future attack was focused like the two fine tuned instruments played in harmoney.
The first enemy approached, then folowing was a stampeed of beetles making clicking noises and sscattering across the clearing quickly. They seemed to have caught onto Kanobu's scent since they were approaching with speed.
But then a loud click followed by crackling caught their attention. Some turned to look but itvwas their master who was sudden panicking. A pop screached over the area followed by an explosion of fire. Beetles were burning as well as ripped apart. Nut the remaining went after the rock. That's when the future attack released, sending a tsunami of psychic energy toward the beetles.
It flooded the area, whiping the grass clean off the dirt and the trees from the ground at the edge of the clearing.
Successful with their trap, the noises had quickly changed since there was only the sounds of ralts and gallade breathing heavily. They were exhausted from their powerful unison.
But it seemed that the improvisation of their leader saved them. But who knew when reinforcements would arrive?
Kanobu popped his eyes open. With a short sigh he looked around, seeing his two demons while remembering the ambush.
"Sorom?" he asked trying to adjust to the dark. "Go and look for him, haunter."
