Moonlight spewed across the world, illuminating the land of Hyrule at night.

A young boy looked at the midnight's sun. For a second he swore that it had a face and winked at him. But when he told his father he said it was a silly idea and to back to his studies.

Ten years later the night as the same as before on the full moon. Glowing brightly he waited for it to wink again as it did every full moon. In his room he waited with a new technology to help him, a telescope. When he peeked inside at midnight he discovered something unexpected. It was a figure floating in the air. When he looked with his own eyes he could only see a dark speck standing in front of the moon. He looked in the telescope again, trying to adjust to the distance. The blurry figure turned clear but the boy yelped.

It was a man in a mask, with eyes glowing bright like the moon. Then the figure turned, looking at the telescope. The boy jumped from the telescope then returned to it, trying to see the masked on again. But it moved. When he swung the telescope around he couldn't see anything but the stars. Confused but determined to make sense of the event he took out a journal and wrote about the occurrence. Disappointed that he missed the midnight wink, he put away his telescope then went to bed.

The next morning his sister came in to the room, expecting him to be asleep still. But he was gone and all that was left were his clothes tucked in. Alarmed, she claimed he was missing. Leaving the details out, the search for the young scientist Arnol Pelton hoped began. A couple weeks later the search ended with the sister upset. Her older brother taught her so much about the skies. When she pulled out his telescope in the night she looked up in the sky and saw a new star.

Keeping her hopes up she made a sign for the public bulletin. When she arrived it was full with the pages of other people missing. When she read the names she recognized them, many great scientist too were suddenly gone. At that moment she became fearful for not only her brother but herself. She having learned many things about the world wondered if someone would come for her in the night. She stayed up late that night then pulled out the telescope again to look at the new star. But something blocked her view. When she looked up there was a masked figure standing on the window. His mask was big and shaped like a heart. When she screamed her mother ran into the room. The figure was gone but the girl would never forget those big yellow eyes. The tale spread throughout castle town.

For three weeks the soldiers of the kingdom searched up and down for a masked man.

Yole Macker was executed for the murder of thirty missing scientists. Assured that the danger was over, the girl took up her brothers position and picked up where he left off. A few weeks later she saw the Moon Wink for herself. When she waited for it again the view was blocked again. In a panic she freaked out. Before he stood the same figure in the same mask. She screamed but when her mother barged in they were both gone.

Weapons are up to the individual but are limited to Pierce and Blunt effects.
Blunt refers to additional damage where there is no defense.
Pierce refers to ignoring some defenses.

If you instead use a race ability then describe it as your weapon. You may only align it with your affinity or have no affinity.

Hometown

Castletown

A once small town in front of the castle has grown in size considerably. The once simple streets filled with merchants has since become an economic power in Hyrule. Hylians are the primary race of Castletown but one will see a great deal of other races in the city. The Castle is still standing and the Royal Family is still influential all over Hyrule.

The only unfortunate thing in Castletown is the rising crime rate and lack of security on a full moon.

River Hall

Home to the Zora this underwater palace is exclusive to Zora race except for the creatures of the sea that find cohabitation a safe haven from the sea.

But there remains a danger for the Zora, rising pollution as well as scarce sources for food.

Mountain Keep

Rito rule the skies as messengers and mapmakers. Their fortress in the mountain is old, perhaps older than the Castle of the Royal Family. But this fortress is decaying. The Rito people are considering moving from Hyrule to find a new place in the world where they can start anew.

Gorons on the other hand are coming in, sharing the mountain with the Rito. Their exchanges are odd like water and oil resisting each other and refusing to mix.

Forest Kingdom

The animal and plants of the deep forest have kept to themselves for a long time. But in the desire to support themselves they export a great deal of resources to other places in Hyrule. Castletown has been greedy in their trade and relations haven't been very good between them.

Hyrule Underground

Keepers of the Kingdom, beams of the castle dungeons, this place is hidden yet still massive. The Sheikah live and train here.

crashing the mooon.... you could do it but i'd rather not push that aspect of the mask into play right now.

Telekinesis is a good weapon for you though, using your strength stat for the damage of any item used in telekinesis.

I thought i emphasized that the body was snakey.. i did a bad job at that then xD

so it doesn't really have eyes on the low part, just those on top.

hehehehaha You can do better than hover around.

So are you attacking the big creature in the eyes? Cause im not sure if that's your action. It was a bit unclear to me. If you are then heads up: he's still circling around and around firing cannon balls. Attacking the eye will pose a risk to you in which I can't assure you'll be too safe even with the mask.

Edit: I have a question, if he went FD would it be conceivable that he could cut a cannon ball in half?

Edit: now you're getting to the good part. Experiment with me in your actions, you can cut them in half before they land, but... what else could you think you could do with all that power?

As soon as he heard the cannon blast, Araris was on his feet and in an all-out sprint out the door before most of them even got to their feet. It wasn't that they where slow, but over several years, many battles, even a small war, Araris gained a lot of battle experience and developed reflexes that made a striking snake look sluggish. Instead of running away, like any sane person would. He ran toward the sound's source. As he ran he thought, Why am I doing this? I came here to get some cash, not play hero. Oh well. He ran fast, not even waiting to see if anyone was following him.

I know that sound, there is only one thing in this world that makes a sound like that, but for the sake of these townspeople, I hope I'm wrong. He wasn't.

The docks came into view and he saw what he had feared he would find. There was a giant Octoroaka attacking! Araris could see three hapless people too close to the monster.

He didn't stop, shouting a battle cry, he unsheathed his broken Biggoron's sword and he hacked at a tentacle menacing the three people, causing the monster to scream in pain and withdraw.

"Get to safety!" He yelled at the three, as he ducked a cannon ball. He jumped back, narrowly avoiding getting grabbed by another tentacle.

I hope back-up arrives soon because I don't think I can handle this by my self. He thought desperately.

The sound of heavy cannon balls blasting would be similar to the lesser Octorok's except this big monster's are just louder. You would recognize the smaller one's sounds but not the bigger one since he's unique.

I hadn't sent any tentacles at the party yet so they've only got the falling cannon balls to worry about for right now.

These need to be changed as I cannot continue with those details.
