I am gunna do this thing where I post every two days despite the number of people who have not posted. It'll keep the rp moving and those who are active are rewarded for their effort in keeping up.
I'm interested. If a triangle is an AK47, I'd hate to be the person who gets in the way of a Timponi.

Also, would all instruments be weapons? In that case, which would do better in a fight, a Flute or a Sousaphone?

Also also, I've never played FATE before, so you're gonna have to lead me around a little... Definitely interested though.

Fate is literally about everyone making up the setting with their characters. So all instruments can be weapons and not having a weapon in a music battle school is a bad idea.

Also, the only difference in power between two characters is related to skill. Stats are not part of fate as much as skills are. But making a character has to do with Aspects which are sentences or short phrases that describe them, very much a cousin to a Trope.

I can explain a lot more when we get to it, that way everyone is on the same page.

If we get one more person that would be great but im good with just you two :)
"What the heck? Wisdom is my highest stat? Followed by strength. Ew. Constitution of 14. Nope. Nope. Nooooope. Ok rerolling. This is madness."
Fer dont advertise in someones rp.

Unless you let me join it.
YOUR FATE IN OUR HANDS

This Role Play is about a collective of players coming together to enjoy an impromptu story about our characters. In every persons hand is the fate of another. It is up to us to tell each other our story but also to tell each other's fate.

There is no way I can state a setting. The simple fact is that we all communicate with each other first about the characters we want to make before the setting can be created around them.

What I'm looking for now are the players of this game who will trust me with their fate so I can trust mine in theirs.

Does this RP style sound familiar? It should I used the word several times now.

We are playing FATE

If you're unfamiliar with Fate then I can teach you as we go, which is the most effective way to learn this system. Its very free form with simple rules. Just make sure that you're a proactive player who wants to tell a dramatic story.
(And Kick a lot of ass!)

So a topic people showed interest in is a Music Battle School where Triangles are essentially the next AK47.
Leon nearly screeched when he saw these aspects. Not only did they grant super powers but also looked pretty amazing. Something about God-Tier had him wondering if that was like a second phase or like full level. He didn't care, it looked pretty sweet anyway. If this was an mmo then he'd probably find the best utility in well, utility. The mage was probably the better magic dude anyway, or the sorceress... Leon didn't know and didn't care.

"Ooh anywhere in space. I guess if there's lava pits and well the vacuum of space then I've got all the firepower I need. But that's the GT. Teleportation seems cool though. I won't have to worry about going back to any town the long way. I guess that'll save me enough time... I bet those are expensive though, infinite energy according to modern science. Yet I feel so.. so much attraction to it. I have to get space. Heir Space.. like airspace or something to do with planes. Spaceheir? Eh space doesn't have air. Eitherway, SPACE!"

Leon clicked on that option, more than happy to have the best utility ever. If other games had what abilities he had then there's no knowing what game he couldn't win.
Leon looked at them all. He was very sure he'd never seen Prince as a class. Maybe the game had a nobility plot or something like that. He wondered which one would be more broken. Since he'd played dungeons and dragons which had similar stats, he figured that getting a plus two boost in something would be overpowering anyway. Then he saw the MP stat and was sure there had to be some kind of mana involved with spells and stuff. If he did play as a mage of some type that meant he'd mp instead of spells per day.

"I think I'll go with the Heir. Just the name sounds like he gets something cool with that extra Int and MP. Maybe that'll have something to do with inheriting things. Uh what does heir even mean again?

Regardless he chose Heir.

CM: Yo, guess what?
CM: (You're gonna hate me)
CG: What's up CM?
CG: I have totally awesome news so... maybe that'll make up for whatever you think is going to get my goat.
CM: Well, I got an email about joining a beta game called SBURB Point of No Return.

Before he could type a reply of sharing the great new, the game loads up. Amazed by how quick it was, he makes a character looking just like him.

GC: OH COOL. I DID TOO, WE SHOULD TOTOALLY PLAY TOEGETHER. SOrry I'm not usually this excited but I just did some customization and there's like a million options. You should totally make something that looks just like you.

Normally Leon would be inclined to deviate just a little but but with all these cool customization how could he not make a clone. Maybe later he'd make another if the system allowed more than one character.

But class.. what would he do about class.
POP.

POP. POPOPOPOPOPOPOP!.

A display of fireworks began overhead, the crackling and the snapping, the bright reds and yellows, and dazzling explosions went off overhead. The night sky was glowing with color and it seemed very odd considering what was happening on other worlds.

Then the fireworks stopped as quickly as they began.

Smoke and bits of things fell from the air, like a light snow. Had anyone tried to look for the source they would have seen that they were coming from the third district.

Those watching would also notice something else. It was the faint sound of a struggle going on. The giant door to the Third district was shut, assuring heartless would keep away.

Right next to the party the door of the shop opened wide. A man with goggles looked at them for a moment then toward the third district.

"What's with all that racket? Sounds like ya'll are setting off fireworks." For those that knew anything about Traverse Town or the restoration organization in Radiant Garden, this was Cid Highwind. "Hey, are those keyblades?" Cid asked, looking at the large weapons in the hands of the kids.

"Riku'd get a kick outa you guys. If only he were here and no screwing around in.. uh. doesn't matter. What are you kids doing out here?"
Ello are you guys still accepting characters?
